There are 3 main types to consider.
1 Close board panels
2 Lap panels
3 trellis panels
All are good looking and will transform your garden to a pleasure to be in, giving you a satisfying feeling of contentment and security.
Close board is one of the strongest types of panel, very well made with strong batons around all edges and brackets in between, the slats run vertically up the panel and look really strong once installed.
Lap panels are also good looking and the most common type broadly used in the fencing industry and still strong but not as strong as the close board.
Trellis is a great alternative giving a decorative effect. You could have chosen the standard square type holes or go with the very small square holes but this type is more expensive, also to bare in mind is that trellis is not particularly strong, looks exceptionally good but not made to last.
However if furnished on a regular basis this could last up to 10 years or more if cared for properly, try to avoid climbing plants attaching itself, this will damage any fencing.
Also there is a diamond effect trellis, this really is good looking and can transform your garden, again this comes with smaller holes if required.
All above come pre treated and will not need treatment for at least 18 months, when treating use a good quality conservative and coat well.
If coated well regularly, your fencing will last many years.
