Acura Legend – Insight Into Various Generations

The Legendary sports model, Acura Legend manufactured in 1991 was offered in base L and the LS trim versions. The sports luxury car was powered by a 3.2 liter V6 engine that delivers power up to 200 hp and torque of 210 lb ft. The engine in the car was mated to a standard 5-speed manual and it also offered 4-speed automatic transmission as optional. In 1993, the engine was upgraded to produce power of 230 hp and 6-speed manual transmission was mated to the engine.

The 1995 Acura Legend is the last sports luxury car produced by Acura in the Legend series. It was powered by a 3.2 liter V6 engine that produces power up to 149 kilo watts at an angular speed of 5500 rpm and torque of 210 lb ft at an angular speed of 4500 rpm. The engine in the car has bore size of 90.0 mm, stroke of 84 mm and compression ratio of 9.6 mm with four valves per cylinder and overhead cam.

The vehicle handling features for 1995 Legend model include four wheel disc brakes including two ventilated discs, antilock brake system, and wishbone independent front suspension with coil springs and stabilizer bar. The exteriors include chrome trim, Halogen bulb twin headlights, Front body color spoiler, Diversity antenna, Front glass electric tilting sliding sunroof with sunshade and more.

The sports luxury car was in Ten Best list during 1988 to 1990 and the Acura Legend coupe model was Motor Trend's car of the Year for 1987.
