Buying parts. New parts for solar panels can be very expensive. Try finding used parts, which will be much less expensive. You could also opt for solar cells that are poorly damaged but still absolutely serviceable. Start building. Once you have all of the necessary parts, start by soldering the solar cells together. Next, apply the UV protector to a sheet of plywood and place the soldered cells on top. Place a piece of glass on top of the solar cells and seal everything in place with some silicone caulk.
Up on the roof. The most sensible place for your solar panels is on the roof of your house, since that is the best place to catch the rays of the sun. Once your pieces have been put together, it's time to get them up to the roof and placed so that there is nothing blocking them from gathering direct sunlight.
Finishing touches. Finally, the solar panel will need to be connected to a battery, which is used for storing collected energy, and the battery will need to be connected to your home's electrical system.
When you're done with your research, hard work and perseverance, you will be able to reap the benefits for years to come. Your energy bills will be greatly reduced or even eradicated, and you will contribute to warming your home, but not to global warming.
