Disposable Tableware, Plastic and Paper Plates

It will be great to see biodegradable and eco friendly disposable tableware in use by all of us. This article will be talking about my all-time favorite color, the color green. Green as in environmentally friendly, eco friendly, good for the planet, and non-polluting. The season for celebrations is here and will continue on through December and onwards. We are all going to be throwing, going, and having parties to celebrate with friends, associates, customers, and family. All these celebrations and holidays are going to create a need for tableware to cater to guests and family alike.

You can follow the norm and bring out expensive silverware or china and take the risk of breakage, coupled with the responsibility and pain of cleaning up after. Or do the right thing and contribute in your own way to cleaning up the environment and helping to reduce pollution and greenhouse effect by acquiring fine biodegradable, or home compostable, environmentally friendly disposable tableware for all occasions.

I am not writing this article to judge anyone, my aim is just to create some awareness. Just in the case that there are others like me who did not buy into the idea of going green just because some proponents were making it into another doomsday threat. Once, I realized the important part of the effort, I was able to look past the dramatization.

Eco friendly disposable tableware

If anyone is ever in doubt about how much garbage we generate just see how much money your state, city, or local government is pending on removal and how much you throw out everyday. Especially, when those things are not biodegradable or recyclable. However, with disposable tableware we limit the pollution with biodegradable products.

We need to reduce pollution through several means on a consistent basis by reusing, recycling, composting, or biodegrading. One of the ways to stop the pollution is to use products that are environmentally friendly, biodegradable, recyclable, or could be composed. Now, it will be much easier to contribute to the goal if you do not have to pay through the nose to do so.

I know a lot of people talking about saving the planet but, I think it is a bit more about saving ourselves. We tend to think so much of ourselves, that we forget that the planet was here several million years before we arrived and that it will be here when we are gone. In other words, we are more likely to suffer first from the extreme pollution before the planet would ever feel the effect, and from the evidence available the planet must have experienced great pollution in the past and survived it. Here is my statement that we are saving ourselves.

We all need to do our part in reducing pollution, this is only one of many other ways that we can reduce our personal contribution to pollution. You will be surprised by how much you can reduce the amount of garbage that goes into your bins every week once you become conscious of your actions.

If you have any suggestions towards pollution reduction, recycling, or reuse; I will love to hear it and so would my readers. Kindly share it in the comments. To do that you may follow check out the resource box below.
