Ford Windsor Transit Autosleeper: A Product Review of the Ford Windsor

If you want a luxury recreational vehicle or motorhome, the Ford Windsor Autosleeper may be a choice for you. This is a spacious RV that many families will find acceptable. Its interiors are inspired by Italian design and its engine is manufactured by one of the most trusted auto companies in the world: Ford.

The furniture has microfiber upholstery and this makes it easy to clean. The designs are stylish and equally practical as well. The kitchen has the complete essentials of what one would need, with a gas stove equipped with three burners and a hotplate. It has a grill and oven and 77-liter fridge and a full-width freezer. Of course, there is a stainless sink and drainer completely equipped with dish racks, cutlery drawer, and waste bins.

You can choose between an L-shaped lounge, twin dinette, or twin settee options, depending on your preference and the size of your family. The seats may be converted into single beds or a large double bed. There is a swiveling passenger chair that you can use for extra sitting. You can house two 15KG butane gas cylinders in the large gas lockers.

Under the floor, you will find a spacious storage locker that you can easily access from the outside. Wardrobe and closets should not be a worry because its closets are spacious with an addition of a cocktail cabinet. The bathroom has a separate shower area with electric toilet flush. There are also basic design features such as a shower mat, soap dispenser, and toothbrush holder.

Priced at $57, 000 USD, the Ford Windsor Transit 2.4 TDCI Autosleeper GB is not a good buy. There are many other RVs for sale at half the price with almost the same amenities like the Sterling Elite Searcher 2005. Personally, I would rate this a 3-star for meeting basic requirement of elegance.
