Frozen containers are temperature controlled to keep food products frozen, drinks chilled and chemical or lab samples cold or warm. Whatever products need to be stored, a refrigerated container which is temperature controlled will ensure that the stored items/products will stay at their perfect product temperature.
These types of containers are available in many different sizes and most will have standard features such as;
• Outer doors for extra security and insulation
• Full lockable butchers door with internal door release emergency mechanism
• Tamper-free lockable controls
• Man-trapped alarm
• Emergency lighting and interior light
• Low power consumption
• Temperature range of +5C to -25C
• Aluminium chequer plate floor
• Environmentally friendly
Frozen containers are suitable for cargo ranging from fresh produce such as semi-perishables, to ice cream which is hard frozen. The containers can be supplied to accommodate all types of produce.
They can be used for static storage or shipping purposes and all containers are supplied in a condition which is consistent with all current food hygiene standards.
Modifications can be made to suit customers requirements which can include internal lighting or curtains. Containers may also be painted with the customers specific decals, and converted to run on standard 240v single phase power.
Frozen containers are designed to store products that require temperature control, and therefore have a fully integral refrigeration machine that is capable of holding internal temperatures between + 25 degrees centigrade to -25 degrees centigrade. They are internally lined with either stainless steel or GRP. The flooring is “T “section and this allows an adequate airflow beneath the stored product.
Most refrigeration machines are electrically powered and run a 380/440 vac 3 phase supply with a rating of 32 amps. If three phases is not available then units which run using single phase may be supplied.
Frozen containers are available for long or short term lease.
