Build a Ledge Board
Make a ledger board to fasten to an existing wall and support the upper end of your roof. Take a measurement of an outside wall, and cut down the board with a circular saw to same length. Use a 2 by 4 inch board for a short rood and 2/6 for a longer one.
Fasten the ledge board to these studs in the existing sturdy partition with a long screw and a screw gun. You can choose to remove the covering on the existing wall or leave it in place. Level the ledger broad through a level above that of an outside shed wall. Homeowner can build the roof at any pitch or slope, but should slope 1 inch for every 10 feet it runs from the ledge board. Add another panel to a side while overlapping the corrugations. Cover the bottom of the top, and add a second row of panels at the top, if required, overlapping the bottom row by 6 inches. Panels generally are 8 to 10 feet long, but you can get longer lengths. Use tin snip or a metal saw to cut panels to fit your requirement.
Make the Roofing Waterproof
You need to put metal flashing at the top of the corrugated roofing when making a lean- to shed. Nail the roofing to the building wall and overlap to deflect water down the roof. Seal the top of the metal flashing with clear silicone caulk.
Add drip edging on all sides of the roof and metal flashing elements that deflect water away from the top and seal sharp edges. Metal flashing is metal bent to overlap a straight wall and a sloped roof. Drip edging is metal sealing the ends of it to avoid moisture from getting in.
