Can I Get My Penis Bigger In 2 Weeks?

Is it possible to get your penis bigger in only 2 weeks?

You may have heard of “quick fix” methods for achieving bigger penis size. Here’s the truth about increasing your penis in only weeks.

First let us go through these common “quick fix” methods to see what really works:

  • Penis pills. Can these actually work for increased size? Yes and no. The best case scenario with penis pills, given that you are trying a legitimate brand, is that you will get a temporary size increase which you should experience your first week or two. What this means is that your erection size can increase from the added blood flow that the herbal ingredients in the pills will cause. Now this doesn’t mean you will achieve permanent size gains, just temporary gains while you are taking the pills. These indeed can work in less than 2 weeks, but again the size gain will be temporary.
  • Penis pumps. Can pumps make my penis bigger in only a few weeks? Pumps are actually similar to pills in a few ways. They will cause temporary increases in size since you are forcing added blood into the penis, engorging it thus creating the visually larger size. And you can see these results within a few weeks, and possibly less (with anything, it always takes a week or so to make adjustments or become comfortable with something new, so it is best to say a few weeks for noticeable gains). The difference with penis pumps is that there is potential for permanent size gain. The catch, of course, is that you will not see permanent size gain in only a few weeks. That usually takes a few months. So the bottom line with pumps is yes for temporary gains (meaning immediately after you use the pump, once you become comfortable with it, you can experience a visual jump in size), but you will not become permanently bigger in only a few weeks, that will take several more weeks of use.

Now for some other penis enlargement methods that can work within a few weeks:

  • Stretching. If you know what you are doing, this can work right away. But usually you need a few weeks to “get it right”. Stretching is just like it sounds. You gently stretch out your penis and hold it there for a number of reps. Now the trick is to find what works best for you when it comes to sets and reps. Usually stretching and holding for 5 or so sets can temporary lengthen your “walk around size”. And this is great for walking around the locker room or right before you are about to have sex with your partner. Again, realistically it will take a few weeks to make this temporary size gain technique work as best it can for enlarging.
  • Massaging or light masturbation. This involves just massaging or lightly masturbating in order to achieve temporary natural looking size. Obviously this one is going to take a trial period to find out what works best. Too much massaging can lead to an erection and that’s not the kind of natural looking size we are after. Give it a week or so to find out just how much or how little massaging is required to achieve a naturally looking larger penis.

What about permanent size techniques that will work in only two weeks?

  • Jelqing. We talked about temporary size tacitcs, now lets talk about jelqing. This is an exercise in which you massage your semi-erect and lubricated penis with your hands, slowly and controlled, for a certain number of sets and reps. This is usually performed for 5 days and then resting for 2 days, then repeating and continuing for a period of several weeks. Now the thing is that many guys have reported some permanent size gains in only a few weeks time. Now obviously these are not major gains, but they do seem to be noticeable enough for guys to become excited over. Not everyone will experience jelqing results in only a few weeks. For most it will take longer, and usually takes at least a few months for larger, more noticeable gains to occur.

Answers:

Mostly A’sEctomorph

If you fall into this category you are probably a lean, tall, frail person who can’t gain weight easily. Since this site is about bodybuilding, I’m sure this is not the look that you are going for. However, not all hope is lost. People who are ectomorph’s need to add more calories to their diets. Be careful not to add the calories into one or two big meals, because your body cannot use them all up as fuel to add muscle. It is a better idea to spread these calories out into 5-7 meals per day. Also watch out for what types of foods you are eating. It’s easy for people with high metabolisms to go out and eat fast food all the time, because it doesn’t affect their weight. But, when you are trying to gain muscle, eating high quality foods counts just as much as when you are trying to lose weight. You can have a fat intake up to 30% of your diet, but try to get most of it from quality fats such as fish and vegetable oils. When it comes to exercise, ectomorphs should limit their cardio activities and focus more on lifting weight. When lifting you should aim for lower reps using heavy weights. Resting between sets is important, as well as resting between workouts to give you’re muscles time to grow. The best exercises to do are heavy compound movements such as dead lifts, squats, bench press and pull downs. The main focus should be to put on mass, and worry about definition a little later.

Mostly B’sMesomorph

If you belong to this category, consider yourself lucky. This is the ideal body type for bodybuilding. It is not extremely difficult for you to gain or lose weight, and you can pack on muscle quickly. People in this category should aim for 4-6 well balanced, healthy meals per day. Your fat intake should be around 20% of your daily calories, and you should try to consume 1-1.5 grams of protein per pound of body mass. Remember, just because you are blessed with the ideal body type, doesn’t mean that you can slack off by eating extra dessert and skipping workouts. As you get older and these habits become engrained, you will begin to notice trouble areas on your body, and ailing health. When you are at the gym you should strength train 2-3 times per week, and do aerobic activities either daily or every second day. Since every person is different, you should prioritize your workouts to the best of your own personal advantage.

Mostly C’sEndomorph’s

If you are an endomorph you are probably rather round or soft looking. You may have muscles but you have very little tone. To achieve the bodybuilding look that you desire, it is extremely important to focus both on healthy eating and exercise. You are probably going to have to cut calories from your daily diet. Start by eating smaller portions, more frequently throughout the day (every 2-3 hours), about 4-6 meals a day. Having your last meal 3-4 hours before you go to bed is an easy way to cut down on calories and speed up weight loss. Be sure to eat a lot of lean protein and high fiber foods, such as beans, whole grains, brown rice, fruits and vegetables. When it comes to exercise, you should be doing at least 30 minutes of cardio activity 5-6 days per week and strength training two to three times per week. Make sure you get at least 2 days rest in between your strength training workouts. You can focus on major muscle group exercises such as dead lifts and squats, and you will also want to incorporate isolation exercises for more tone.

The Most Important Factor in Vertical Jump Training

I’ve been a long time student of vertical jump training. I’ve gotten my vertical jump as high as 39 inches, and it currently sits around 36 standing.

Vertical jump training isn’t difficult, but there are a few things you absolutely NEED to do in order to maximize your results. Before you get stronger, make sure you have made your body as efficient as possible. This way you will get the most out of your strength and you won’t be simply laying down strength on top of dysfunction.

One of the first things you need to do in your vertical jump training is to fix your “force couples.” This will make you more efficient right away and get your glutes firing.

“Force couples” is just a fancy way of saying “hips.”

The way your hips are “tilted” on your pelvis will determine how efficiently you move. To move efficiently we need to be able to activate our glutes and move primarily through them.

Stand sideways in front of a mirror and lift your shirt up. Take a look at your belt line. Is it parallel with the floor, or tilted down or up? If it’s parallel, congratulations – you are in good pelvic alignment.

Most athletes are tilted with the front side down, which is called anterior pelvic tilt. These athletes need to strengthen their glutes and hamstrings and lengthen their quads. Do plenty of hip flexor and rectus femoris stretching, as well as weightroom movements like deadlifts, glute hams and pullthroughs. Hit your abs hard as well because in the posterior tilt position they are lengthened and weak.

If you’re tilted the other way, you’re in what’s called posterior pelvic tilt. You’re going to need to strengthen your quads and lengthen your hamstrings. Hit front squats and single leg squats hard, and don’t put too much emphasis on your hamstrings – they are plenty tight right now.

Once you get your hips in proper alignment and individualize your training around them, the results from your vertical jump training will explode.

Train hard.

My Garage Door Won’t Open, Now What?

Professional garage door repair companies hear this question frequently. It seems like it almost always happens to most people as they are about to leave for work, or when they arrive home from a long day. I suppose that being locked out of the garage would be the better of the two previous options. However if you are experiencing this problem, you do have options!

There are several things that you can check for that may be an immediate fix to the problem. First, you can confirm that the garage door opener is receiving power. If it is not, there are two simple things to check for.

Many garages have a GFCI plug system, and all the outlets in the garage are on the same circuit. Once you have located the GFCI plug, try pushing the reset button. If this doesn’t work, try checking your circuit breakers. Since many people run freezers, refrigerators, tools, and exercise equipment in the garage, you may have overloaded the breaker.

If neither of these two options corrects the problem, and you have confirmed that the garage door opener is not working, try disengaging the garage door opener from the garage door. This is accomplished by pulling on the emergency release rope that is attached to the trolley on the garage door opener rail.

After disengaging the opener, you should be able to open the door freely. If you determine that the opener is not the problem, your options become a little less appealing.

After ruling out the opener as the problem, you will need to move on to the garage door itself. Take a couple of minutes and try to determine if there seems to be anything loose or broken on the garage door. Look for rollers out of track, cables off of their pulleys, and broken springs.

If you are able to locate one of these problems, you must determine if your do it yourself skills will allow you to quickly make the necessary repairs. Before you make any repairs, make sure that you take the necessary time to determine the safety of making the repair yourself.

Cables and springs are under tremendous amounts of pressure, in order to counterbalance the weight of the door and can cause serious injury if you do not have the proper tools and expertise required to manipulate them.

If you determine that the repair is beyond your abilities, you should know that there are many service companies that are able to help you with your problem rather quickly. Most garage repairs can be completed in less than thirty minutes by an experienced repair technician with the proper tools and parts.

Now is the time to be especially careful. Most areas have a large selection of garage door repair service companies to choose from. Some of these will take advantage of your need for immediate service, if you do not take the time to check them out.

The Appeal of Working Abroad

Working abroad sounds exciting and many more people have been considering these positions. However, if you are thinking about going abroad to work, there are some serious things that you need to consider before you hop on the plane and head to another country.

Working in a different country is about more than just bragging rights and listing an exotic country on your resume. It’s about building important skills that will help you get hired and give you an advantage in your future career. Working abroad can be a life-changing and a very fulfilling experience, if you approach it from the right angle and prepare for both joys and challenges of working in a new culture and in an unfamiliar environment.

Building A Foundation For Your Future Career

Living and having a job abroad also brings you the benefit of establishing business contacts if your place of work during your time abroad is related to a career you wish to pursue upon your return. By being constantly in touch with your professional and influential contacts, you will be paving ground for employment opportunities that may be offered to you in future. Finding jobs working abroad can sometimes take time and is not entirely without problems. One of the biggest benefits of working abroad is that you get to meet people from different cultural backgrounds. Since you continue to meet with a wide range of people, you have an excellent opportunity to network with people from different countries of the world. While working, you can even find people who will ultimately turn into lifetime friends. In addition, you get to know about different customs and traditions that people from different cultural background may have.

There Is No Time Like The Present

Employers like employees who have experience working overseas. It shows that you have the ability to adapt to the diverse workplaces of today. Given the current UK economic climate there is no better time to consider working abroad as there are limited opportunities available and competition is extremely fierce. Anybody who is willing to work can find a job working abroad. It may not be easy, job centers do exist but they are very different from the ones in the UK.

Broadening Your Mind

Working abroad can be a life-changing and a very fulfilling experience, if you approach it from the right angle and prepare for both joys and challenges of working in a new culture and in an unfamiliar environment. Universities acknowledge young peoples desires to work abroad and have integrated working placements into their courses which are seen as one of those “once-in-a-lifetime” opportunities to travel, experience another culture first-hand and even make some money.

I Hooked Up With My Ex Boyfriend! Why That Was a Horrible Idea

You’ve gone and done it, haven’t you? With all the lingering feelings you still have for your ex boyfriend, you made the fateful move of hooking up with him one time. Maybe it’s been more than that but your hope in doing so was to reignite his feelings for you. It seems like a logical step to take when you love a man. Get him to feel closer to you by any means possible, right? Wrong! Hooking up with an ex boyfriend is one of the worst mistakes any woman can make if her goal is to have a committed and loving future with him that includes respect. By opening up that can of worms you may have just ruined your chances of getting your ex boyfriend to see you as potential girlfriend material again.

How Your Ex Boyfriend Views Hooking Up with You

You know how you felt more in love than ever with your ex boyfriend after you two spend intimate time together? He’s likely not feeling that at all. Men aren’t wired to view intimacy in the same way that we do. They don’t see it as a bridge to a deeper and more meaningful connection. It’s not all about promise and lasting devotion to them. For a man, whether he loved you once or not, hooking up is just that. He sees you as someone he can go to when he needs to get his physical desires fulfilled. If you continue to engage in this behavior with him you need to know that he’ll start to view you as someone he can turn to only for intimate encounters.

Why He’ll Likely Break Your Heart Again

If you hook up with your ex boyfriend and you try and play it cool, he’ll assume that you’re okay with that being the focus of your relationship. He won’t understand that your goal is to have a second chance with him. He’ll instead assume that you’re fine with things exactly as they are.

If you spend intimate time with him and then tell him that you still love him and want more, he may pull back to the point that he’ll stop talking with you altogether. The reason that’s likely to happen is that if he sees the relationship you have right now as one that focuses on casual hooking up when it’s convenient for you both, a commitment, or even the suggestion of a commitment, is bound to scare him.

How to Change the Dynamic of Your Relationship Now

It’s understandable why you may view hooking up as a bridge to something more with your ex boyfriend. You likely see the intimacy as the first step back into his heart. It may not be and for that reason you have to ensure the relationship involves more than just that.

Talk to your ex boyfriend about what you’re feeling. You’ll quickly understand how he views what you share with him by his immediate reaction. If you fail to hear from him for days after you explain that you want more than casual intimacy, he’s likely not looking for anything but that. If he starts to work with you towards a much fuller connection, you know that he’s looking for the same thing as you are.

If you have spoken with him and he’s still constantly trying to hook up, it may be time to start suggesting you two hang out somewhere other than the bedroom. Invite him out to dinner or suggest that you two go see a movie. Make it clear that you want more than what you’re currently sharing.

Disconnecting Emotionally From Your Ex Boyfriend

You may have to learn how to disconnect emotionally from him if his only focus is getting together to share intimate moments. This is not going to be easy but it shows your ex boyfriend that you aren’t comfortable being just his sometimes lover, and that you want more.

If you’ve explained to him, in no uncertain terms, that you’re unhappy with the current arrangement you two have and he’s still pushing for more intimacy, stop being available. Don’t agree to see him. Tell him you have other plans and mean it. Go out, meet new people, hang out with friends and start living your life again.

If your ex boyfriend does still have lingering feelings for you he’ll pursue you and he’ll want to spend time with you in an environment and in a way that you’re comfortable with. It may take him some time to come to the realization that he needs you in an emotional way and not just in a physical way. You need to stay strong and determined while this goes on.

It’s very easy to fall back into the trap of hooking up with him because you may feel he’s pulling away if you don’t. Allow that to happen because your strength in doing so will show him that you are emotionally independent and can survive, and even flourish, without a connection with him.

Always remember that you’re worth the value you place on yourself and you should never settle for less that you personally feel you deserve. If you don’t want to be the woman your ex boyfriend views as his “go to hook up” don’t be. Change the relationship by showing him that you’re not going to conform to what he wants. You’re going to stay focused on the relationship that you desire.

3 Weird Screwdrivers and Their Uses

I am sure that everyone has used a Phillips or flathead screwdriver at some point. They are very handy tools and are essential for taking apart various things around the house.

What you might not be aware of is that there are many other kinds of screwdrivers that might be handy to have in certain situations. We have all come across a weirdly shaped head of a screw and it can be frustrating.

I am going to share three types of screwdrivers that aren’t as common that you might be interested in having around.

Now let’s look at these three unusual screwdrivers.

1. First we are going to take a look at a torx screwdriver.

This is that annoying six pointed star shape that you run across every so often. It looks pretty much just like a Phillips screwdriver except the head on the torx screwdriver is a six pointed star shape.

Torx screws are commonly used to put together computers. So, to take apart a computer, you will probably need to have a torx screwdriver. Another thing that uses a lot of torx screws is a car. If you do any work on cars, chances are you will end up needing a torx screwdriver.

2. The second screwdriver in this list is the Robertson screwdriver.

It is named after its inventor P.L. Robertson. This type of screwdriver is used to drive and loosen screws with a square head. It is actually a popular screw in Canada but it is not very common in the United States.

This type of screw is used for many things. Some of the things it is used for include cabinets, decks, vinyl windows, vinyl doors, and many things made of sheet metal.

Here is a fun fact about this screwdriver. When Harrison Ford was first manufacturing cars he wanted to use this screw on his assembly line. However, he wasn’t able to get a licensing agreement so he started using Philips screws instead.

3. The last screwdriver we will look at is the tri wing screwdriver.

Just like the other screwdrivers, this type is much like the Phillips only the head is a Y-shape instead of an X-shape.

This is a very common type of screw when it comes to electronics. In fact, I am willing to bet that you can’t take apart 90% of electronics without using a screwdriver with a tri-wing head. This is very handy to have around so you can fix some of your electronics yourself.

35mm SLR Cameras: Fujica v Pentax

The Fuji Photo Film Company was established in 1934, and initially made photographic films for the Japanese home market. In the early 1940s, they started to produce optical glass for military use, and in 1948 began making cameras. In 1971, Fuji made their first 35mm SLR camera – the Fujica ST701.

In the early 1970s, the 35mm SLR camera most favoured by serious amateur photographers was the Pentax Spotmatic. Other manufactures produced models that were possibly just as good, but none commercially rivalled the dominance of the Spotmatic.

The FujicaST701 boasted very similar specifications to the Spotmatic II – it even shared the same M42 threaded lens mount – but Fuji stepped ahead of their competitors by being the first company to use silicon blue photocells instead of CdS. Silicon cells were claimed to react much faster, and respond to a wider range of light levels than CdS. Indeed, all camera manufacturers eventually adopted Silicone cells. In addition, the ST701 was smaller, lighter, and had a brighter viewfinder than the Spotmatic II.

In 1972, a second Fujica SLR camera was launched – the ST801. This offered open aperture metering (via Silicone cells), a lens locking system, and seven LED viewfinder indicators instead of a common needle. The open aperture metering (and lens locking system) required a new modified lens mount, and marked the start of a divergence from the established M42 mount. The claimed benefits of the LED system was the absence of a mechanical mechanism, eliminating meter deviation caused by shock or mechanical failure, plus it was better for low light shooting. While none of these features were innovations, the ST801 was one of the first cameras to bring together all of these characteristics.

In 1973, the Pentax Spotmatic F was introduced. It was essentially an open aperture metering variant of the previous Spotmatic, and it too required a new modified lens mount. Fujinon and Pentax lenses ceased to be wholly interchangeable (a fact that seems to elude many of today’s second-hand photo equipment sellers). On paper, the ST801 was still a better-specified camera.

Meanwhile, Pentax had been working on a new type of auto-exposure system. In 1971 the ES was launched (an improved version of the Electro Spotmatic, which was sold only in Japan). This camera featured open aperture metering with automatically selected shutter speeds, indicated by a viewfinder pointer (aperture priority auto-exposure). In 1973 the ES was upgraded as the ES II, with an innovative electronic step-less shutter. The ES and ES II ensured that Pentax remained a dominant force in amateur SLR cameras.

In 1974, Fuji introduced a rival to the Pentax ESII: the Fujica ST901. It too featured open aperture metering with automatically selected step-less shutter speeds (aperture priority auto-exposure), but claimed another first in camera design: a digital LED shutter speed indicator in the viewfinder (as first seen in early 70’s calculators and digital watches). Once again, Fujica seemed to be technologically ahead of Pentax.

Sadly, shortly after the introduction of these top quality cameras, the race between Fujica and Pentax had run its course, and the glory days of both companies were effectively over.

1975 was a year of significant change for Pentax. The company introduced its own lens mount, the K bayonet (which incorporated a lens locking system), along with a new set of short-lived “K” cameras based heavily on the Spotmatic format. A year later, Pentax abandoned the Spotmatic body shape, and introduced a band new smaller camera range (the M series), perhaps due to growing popularity of the Olympus OM-1 (and variants), which has set new standards of compactness.

The ME was an aperture priority auto exposure camera (with no manual override), and the MX was a fully manual camera. Both featured large bright viewfinders (as found in Fujicas), but neither was innovative. The MX, for example, was little more than a miniaturise Spotmatic F.

Meanwhile, Fuji stuck with their version of the M42 lens mount, and produced another new camera in 1976: the ST601. Just like the new Pentax cameras, the design lacked innovation, and was essentially a variant of the five-year-old ST701. Nevertheless, the 600 series camera sold well in the budget sector of the SLR market.

Elsewhere in 1976, other companies were gaining prominence. Canon’s AE-1, for example, introduced the first use of microprocessors, and steered the future of camera design in a new direction.

Pentax continued to produce insignificant M series variants (mostly lesser models after the 1980 ME Super). Fuji similarly and trivially updated their camera range: the ST601 became the ST605 in 1977, the ST605n in 1978, and the ST605 II in 1979. The ST701 became the ST705 in 1977, and then the ST705w in 1978. The ST801/ST901 were replaced by a lesser hybrid – the AZ-1 – in 1978. All were pretty dull offerings, but the model range was given a further lease of life in 1980 as the STX series when, like Pentax had done previously, Fuji introduced they own lens bayonet mount system.

Neither company had any further design triumphs that restored their position as market leaders, or made their products serious competitors to the new market leaders. By the mid 1980s, Fuji withdrew completely from the 35mm SLR market, while Pentax struggled on, but largely became a second rate brand.

Bomb Proof Spy Sun Glasses? And We Are Not Joking!

Yes, now you can actually get bomb-proof lenses and frames! Spy sun glasses have introduced their Haymaker range which is built from bomb proof Grilamid materials. Combining strength, safety and fashion in one package.

But what is Grilamid? Grilamid is basically a transparent polyamide that is processed using thermoplastic methods. (It is suggested if you want to get the full scientific notations for Grilamid, you look elsewhere as we’re not scientists!) However, among the exceptional properties of Grilamid is its lightness, gives good transparency, has high flex fatigue strength, impact resistant and weather resistant, can be coloured and has low flammability and is resistant to chemicals at temperatures and to stress cracking.

The Grilamid used in frames and sunglass lenses not only have very good optical and mechanical properties, they are also resistant to damage from a large number of normally corrosive chemicals. Grilamid is resistant to cracks up to at least 23 degrees centigrade after one minutes exposure from substances such as diesel and petrol fuel, amido sulphuric acid (used as a descaling agent), acetone and butyl acetate to name but a few.

Spy sun glasses are not the only range from the Californian innovators who also produce goggles and apparel that are now made in Italy. It is perhaps no surprise that they introduced these sport inspired Haymaker sun glasses given that the founders are action and motor sports enthusiasts!

Uses for these Spy sun glasses are obvious. Not only are they a fashion statement coming from Spy, they will protect your eyes if you work with hazardous materials. We’re not saying a direct and hard blow with a hammer won’t damage them, as it probably may, but debris flying up while you are digging, gardening, skiing, and partaking in other action and motor sports, should not be a problem. Accidentally spraying petrol in your face while filling your car won’t be a problem either if you are wearing your Grilamid glasses. In fact, any work where you need to wear protective glasses outdoors would be a good place to use Grilamid sun glasses.

Given the nature of the material, only authentic designer sunglasses who claim to use Grilamid will actually use it! If you buy fakes and you need them for safety reasons, it could lead to eventual eye damage as the fakes won’t protect you in the same way. The Haymaker range from Spy sun glasses are built from Grilamid, have 100% UV protection and come in a range of colours. There are other “bomb proof” sunglasses around if you want a different style, but they can be difficult to track down.

Organic Interior Designs

Organic design of interiors uses natural elements for creating those designs by minimal usage of synthetic materials. An organic decorator should be aware of the type of natural elements available in the market and in nature which can be used to replace those synthetic decorators. It will be quite challenging for usual indoor decorators to turn to eco-friendly interior decorators.

Now a days green or organic interior decoration is not very much accepted by the people around the world. But more than 70% of the people around the world would like to live a life which is close to nature. The reason i am telling is because, when looking the travel statistics around the world people are choosing destinations which are close to nature for their holidays. People love nature and likes to have fresh intake of oxygen. Fresh air is not available in big cities and in artificially ventilated interiors. So people are traveling to those ecological and nature friendly places spend at least some days in a year. Which type of room would you love to live in through out your lifespan whether it is an artificially created room or in a room which is filled with natural light and with a breeze of natural air.

Many people think that green interior decorating is being utilized by those who don’t want to spend much money on their interiors. People who are willing to spend much money on their interiors think that their interior will feel unusual if their turn to organic interior decorating. It is a fact that people used to return to those indoors which are organically designed than those with synthetically designed indoors. Moreover people living inside organic designed interiors have got less friction and differences among them when compared to people living in synthetically designed interiors. Organic interior design can create that ambience inside a room which can create a sense of tranquility and serenity inside the rooms. With some simple measures and changes synthetically designed rooms can be changed to organic. Organically designed interiors are decorated in such a way that it should provide that much need calm and rejuvenation for mind and soul. After all what we need for our homes or office interiors is peace of mind.

Organic interior design has become relevant in today’s world because of the amount of pollution happening in our cities. Every day people are adding more air conditioners to their rooms. Many research have proved that emissions from these air conditioners is one of the reason for climate change. Organic interior decorators around the world are having the opinion that people are gradually thinking about organic interior designs for their rooms.

Inviting Mother Nature into the home through home design is an exceptional way to get back to basics while infusing a house with warmth, color, purpose and practicality. We were originally organic to begin with, so why not keep up the tradition of peace, harmony and health.

Allure the pacifying Mother Nature into your indoors through organic interior design is an exceptional way to get back to basics while incorporating a home or office interior with warmth, color, purpose and practicality. Our ancestors lived an organic life, so why not keep up the tradition of peace, harmony and health.

Painting an Ice Cream Truck: The Do’s and the Don’ts

Q: Why is owning an ice cream truck vending company like owning a modeling agency?

A: Because looks count for A LOT.

There is nothing that is going to lose you more customers in less time than a truck which has a paint job which makes it look sketchy, trashy or just plain boring. So I’ve created a list of 5 do’s and 5 don’ts you should be aware of when making the crucial decision about how to paint your truck:

DO’S:

  1. DO use bright colors which make your truck standout – after all you want to be noticed!
  2. DO use your writing and text which will advertise you by drawing the eye and which is appealing to both children and adults.
  3. DO keep your design simple – don’t bombard your customers with distracting colors and images.
  4. DO go for a retro design. For many people, ice cream trucks conjure up treasured memories from their youth so you can never be too old-fashioned!
  5. DO you know your customer! Certain designs will work better in different locations and with people from different backgrounds and income brackets. An ice cream truck selling along Venice Beach is going to have a very different look and feel than a truck selling in downtown Manhattan!

DON’T:

  1. DON’T use brown, grey or other colors which make you appear to blend into the background or worse, appear boring.
  2. DON’T overdo it with decals and decorations. Doing too much visually can be almost as bad as doing too little.
  3. DON’T use color schemes which may be associated with drugs or other illegal activity. Some ice cream vendors have given the industry a bad name by dealing more than ice cream from their trucks!
  4. DON’T place decals and other signage too high or too low. Make sure that all writing can be seen by both children and adults.
  5. DON”T spoil your amazing design by forgetting that a window may have to go in the middle of it! Make sure that you take into account the practicalities of your vehicle and make a sketch before you start painting.

At the end of the day the design of your ice cream truck will be a major component in how people view your business. When in doubt keep it simple, it is better to have a well executed simple design then trying to get fancying and having an amateur paint job. The easiest things to do are also the most effective, add some color to your bumpers, wheels, mirrors, and your rooftop speaker. Customers will notice the little things like uneven paint, uncentered decals and lettering or crooked lines so make sure everything is done right, especially on the side of your truck that has the serving window.

And remember, just because you painted your truck doesn’t mean you can neglect it; make sure you spray it down with water every few days and whenever it rains, because the dirt the accumulates on your roof will bleed down onto the sides of your truck.

South Carolina CDV No Contact Bond Restrictions

When someone is arrested for domestic violence (CDV) in South Carolina pursuant to a violation of S.C. Code 16-25-10 they will be taken before a Magistrate for the setting of bond. Bond is more than money that must be posted or guaranteed for release, it also may include other restrictions determined by the Court to be necessary to protect those involved in the defendant’s case. Bond is set in misdemeanor cases and in South Carolina’s felony domestic violance offense of CDVHAN.

In a South Carolina domestic violence cases a routine requirement set by the Bond Court is that the defendant is to have no contact with the alleged victim in his case. This requirement may be included even in cases where the defendant and alleged victim are married, have children or live together. Further this requirement may be put in place even in situations where it is not requested, or was even opposed by the alleged victim. This “no contact” provision is designed to remain in place until the conclusion of the defendant’s case. An unfortunate result may be that defendant’s will be pressured into pleading guilty just to end the Court’s no contact order.

Police departments around South Carolina regularly follow up on CDV arrests to ensure that the Court’s no contact bond order is being complied with. In cases where it is being violated the defendant can face contempt of court sanctions. In many cases the penalty will be a return to jail until the case is over (this may be 30 days or more).

It is important to know that the bond restrictions do not apply to the alleged victim. This means that there is nothing the Court will do to stop them from initiating contact with the defendant, but if contact is made the defendant is the one who faces a return to jail. No contact bond violations don’t have to be violated by physical contact. Other ways include e-mail, phone, mail or initiating contact through third parties.

In order to have the no contact provision lifted prior to the conclusion of the case it is necessary to obtain a specific Court order modifying the bond. Typically this will require the filing of a formal motion and for the Court to schedule a hearing.

Another side effect of the no contact provision can be the impact it has on possession of a shared residence. If the alleged victim lives with the defendant, even in the defendant’s own home, the defendant will not be allowed to return as long as the alleged victim is present. Further the criminal Court will not have jurisdiction to order the alleged victim to vacate – which may require the defendant to seek an eviction from the local Magistrate’s Court. The eviction process may take two weeks or more to conclude – during which time the alleged victim is allowed to remain in possession of the residence with no obligation to pay rent or the utility bills.

Your Speech Patterns Affect Sales Performance

Speech Patterns Affect Sales

Eastern accents, like those spoken by New Yorkers, are normally a very fast rate of speech. Southern drawl, like those spoken by people from the South, is a much slower rate of speech. And, when you speak with the Midwesterner, the speech pattern is totally different. How do these different accents, speech patterns, and speech rates affect sales and telemarketing efforts?

There is a lot of evidence that speech rate and accents affect sales. For years, consultant have tried to analyze how accents and speech rate impact both face to face sales and tele-consulting sales. There is nothing conclusive, but leading sales authorities all agree that accents and speech rates do affect sales performance.

Many companies like to hire people with radio voices, hoping that the voice quality will impact sales performance. Many companies do speech test when hiring individuals who will have constant interaction with other people. The “theatrical” voice does appear to reduce resistance.

Importance of Speech Rate

Why is speech rate important? Let’s explore the reasons. Sales calls and telemarketing calls are almost always an interruption. People are eating dinner, or watching movies on TV. The prospects are certainly not anticipating the TSR’s call. While our brain when focused, can understand 600 words a minute, the prospects brain takes five to ten seconds to adjust to the new rate of speech by the agent. It simply takes the brain a few seconds to put speech rate, accent, and message together so communication can occur.

A Midwesterner, who speaks at 170 words per minute (WPM), will have problems communicating (at first), with a New Yorker, who speaks at 240 words per WPM. What does that mean? It means they will miss or not understand the agent’s name, company, and possibly the primary calling purpose.

Why do you think that many large telemarketing service bureaus go to Omaha Nebraska to establish their call centers? The Reason:

  • there is little if any accent in the middle part of America
  • their rate of speech is moderate when compared with Southerners and New Yorkers

The Ideal Rate of Speech – 180 Word Test

The Pennsylvania Bell Company measured speech rate by putting out a 180 word test to measure it. This test can help train your agents to speak at the best speech rate. It works by timing your agents while they read this test: longer than one minute is too slow; less than one minute is too fast. Here is the 180 Word Statement by Pennsylvania Bell Company:

Most experts agree that the ideal rate of speech is between one hundred and eighty to two hundred words per minute. At this rate, people who are listening to you will be able to hear and understand what you are saying. In the United States there are different patterns of speech that are the product of geographic areas. In the northeastern part of the country, people tend to speak faster than others while people from the southern states speak slower than the ideal rate. However, people in the mid-western states will tend to speak the one hundred and eighty word rate. To test yourself, note your start and finish time. Use the second hand of a clock to do this. If you read this statement in less than one minute you are speaking too fast and should make an effort to slow down. But if you read this statement in more than a minute, you are speaking too slowly and should try to speak faster when talking on the phone.

How to improve your agents performance

Take one of your scripts and identify the first 180 words. Have your agents try and read them within one minute. If you mark ten second intervals, it will help you identify speech patterns and habits, both good and bad, in your agents. Once identified, you can begin the process of correcting bad habits and emphasizing good ones. Another helpful suggestion is to perform this test over the phone or in front of other agents.
