More and More Americans Are Waking Up to the Global Warming Hoax

The elitists, led by Al Gore, have been successful in not only creating an unfounded global warming scare, but exploiting the fears of the citizens of the earth for the purpose of establishing and policing a world-wide environmental tax, also known to some as "Cap and Trade".

After this bill passed, our President mocked the GOP and accused them of using hyperbole when claiming that energy costs will rise 1,000 percent to $ 3,000 per household. Well, it turns out that he was correct and that the Republican estimate was too high. They are only going to rise a mere 587% (or a 15% rise in personal income taxes), an approximate cost of $ 1,761 per household. Most middle class Americans pay between 10% and 35% of their income to the government, so just imagine tacking on an additional 15%. In a nutshell, this should mean that if we can keep all of our taxes from rising more than 600%, we will all have more than enough money to spend on things that are really important! (Giving you time for the math to sink in.)

Okay. Now that you've regained consciousness, let's continue, shall we? Believe it or not, as bad of an addition of taxation this is – particularly for those millions who have fixed incomes and / or shrinking IRAs – this is not the part that bugs me the most. It is the fact that this whole scheme is yet another building block for control over and captivation of the masses. And, worse yet, it is for something that was basically invented by junk scientists (we will get to that momentarily).

Many of us have been convinced by the Gore-sympathetic media that we humans are the cause of the demise of the planet. On a side note, this is a big part of the globalist agenda as evidenced by the practices of the Chinese who have been receiving praise for their one-child policy which, in reality, is government-forced abortion and eugenics. It is truly sobering and fright- ening when people of power compliment a nation for their accomplish- ments when the things that are getting done are synonymous with rape and murder. Perhaps "success" and "advancement" are simply in the eye of the beholder.

I have found that most people have good intentions and are willing to give the benefit of the doubt. That is surely one of the reasons that media moguls and other influential people take advantage of the principle that "if you repeat something often enough, people will accept it as truth". This never seems to be the case more than in the global warming debate. Because most of the media is in the back pocket of the elites who are toting this stuff, we are sitting ducks when it comes to being victimized by the barrage of continuous misinformation.

As a qualifier, I am in no way suggesting that there are not oil spills in the ocean, or that a smokestack does not affect a nearby community, or that it is not smart to recycle. I am, instead, strongly suggesting that the Gore-ites are using CO2 as a fear factor for promoting a flimsy (at best) agenda. CO2 is one of the four components necessary for survival (just ask any tree). The ominous suggestion of world degeneration started with emission (aka 'greenhouse') gases and evolved into the claim that people are the problem. Though CO2 is being misused for distraction and deception, the real motive is policed taxation and absolute power. And we have all heard about the results of absolute power.

There is some good news, however. More and more reputable scientists in the field of climate are jumping onto the anti-global warming bandwagon. Also, more and more Americans are starting to wake up. I suppose it could be because this theory is quickly becoming a reality in their wallets.

The fact is that there have been climate swings for centuries. Likely longer, except that they were not always measured. And now many are coming to terms that, perhaps, they have just been getting duped all this time, thanks to the UN and their cronies. I would suggest that you get a bunch of tea and pour it into the lake and cry "No international taxation without national representation!" Except for the fact that you might kill a few fish while doing so.

Designing With Arc Floor Lamps

The basic, most underrated way to enhance a dull, uninteresting looking house into a splendid, stylish looking abode is by lighting it up.

Lights can make your home from melodramatic to a lively, vibrant atmosphere.

It is therefore essential that in order to accomplish the desired lighting effects, it is necessary to have floor lamps.

And not just about any lamps, but an arc floor lamp that can create a diversion and focus the attention on the spot you wanted to highlight.

And arc lamps comes in a variant of ways from spiral to trident and other odd shapes that can please even the most opinionated of the critic.

Materials that had been used also vary from wood, bronze, Plexiglas, chrome and brass. Brass arc floor lamp in particular can be fitted alongside with other antiques rather splendidly.

Other arc floor lamps served different purposes. They can be made to twist to pinpoint or to compliment a painting or other sculpture. They can also be ideal for general use, such as reading where you can focus the light on the book while conveniently stretched over the sofa!

Soft lights can be used to acknowledge moods that suit the occasion. A lovely evening with sweet country music over a family reunion gathering is such a blast to watch with dim lamps across the room.

Most arc lamps can be installed with bulbs of varying colors and brightness. This makes it more fun to experiment with particularly the crisscrossing of the lights that can open up a whole new dimension in room interior decoration.

The ergonomic design of arc lamps contributes to the welfare of small space rooms. With a wide base and adjustable neck it can be practically pulled over to a new spot with no hassle.

You can even move it to the garden when the barbecue party runs late Saturday night. Large floor lamps can also be used on outdoors with water proofing design on some models.

A Concrete Sealer For Protection

One of the secrets of having a preserved concrete wall or floor is by utilizing a concrete sealer. After curing, you should also put a seal on it to lessen the possibility of break down. This would add to the strength and stability of the concrete. A sealer is recommended by most contractors for this would likely avoid the concrete from acquiring different elements that could penetrate through. Sealers are also used to avoid concrete from water absorption and help it to strengthen and decrease the possibility of shrinkage and cracking.

Concrete sealer is applied to complete any concrete installation. This sealer serves as the finishing touch for protecting the concrete to extend its life, enhances and preserves its features which makes it easy to maintain.

There are different types of concrete sealing products which depend on where you would apply it. Two main types of concrete sealer are those that create a protecting layer on the concrete's surface and the other are those that penetrate through the surface.

Surface sealers are commonly used for making a membrane that protects the surface from absorption of different foreign elements like water, salt, or harmful chemicals. In this kind of concrete sealer you can already prevent common problems of concrete deterioration because you stop it even before it affects the concrete structure.

This surface sealer includes dye adhesive which is considerably mild among others but ideally used on concrete exteriors for its UV characteristic and allowing the escape of liquids. Enhancement of concrete features and color was created to make bright and wet look appearance. Water based dye adhesive is mostly used indoors for it is not harmful with an almost odorless type of sealer.

Another surface sealer is the epoxy sealer which is widely used for garage and indoor flooring because unlike dye sealer, this kind of sealant makes escape of moisture impossible. It leaves a bright and smooth finish as they mixed well with concrete. The problem with this sealer is that it requires more elaborate preparations before applying that makes it more costly than the others.

And the most expensive of all surface sealers is the urethane which is commonly used in industrial structures and should be applied by professionals in order to attain its potential sealing quality. This is not recommended for small areas because it is quite expensive.

Penetrating sealers are silicon-based concrete sealer which penetrates concrete surface which reacts to free lime that creates calcium silicate. This kind of concrete sealer allows concrete to strengthen itself and prevents water from penetrating through it. This could be advantageous to concretes showing signs of corrosion and underground places with water leakage. This might not be like a surface sealer that creates a pleasing and attractive looks on concretes but still plays a big part on the preservation of it.

Sealing concrete is a primary need in the preservation and protection of a concrete property. It actually prevents major or serious problems from happening in the future if the concrete is left unsealed.

7 Top Road Trip Money Saving Secrets

Road Trips are all about having fun with the family. These savings tips are designed to offer safe, fun-filled, less expensive road trips. Ready to start? Let’s go.

Secret #1. Prepare snacks before you start out.

You could purchase fruit bars, chips, healthy drinks and other snacks from your local supermarket, rather than buying them from a roadside service station at inflated prices. Tip – you can also use these as treats or prizes when playing road trip games with the kids (see Secret #5 below – printable road trip games).

Secret #2. Car checks

It is important to check the fluid levels and other items on all the car’s systems before leaving home. These checks can save you breaking down on a lonely stretch of road, late at night… The major checks are listed below:

1. Radiator – check fluid level in the radiator (not when the radiator is hot!) and also the level in the radiator overflow bottle.

2. Brake Master Cylinder – check that the brake fluid level is at the “Max” mark. Important – only use the manufacturer’s specified grade if adding brake fluid.

3. Automatic transmission – check the level of automatic transmission fluid is at the correct mark on the dipstick. Important – only use the manufacturer’s specified grade if adding automatic transmission fluid.

4. Power Steering – check the level of power steering fluid in the power steering fluid container. Important – only use the manufacturer’s specified grade if adding power steering fluid.

5. (for a manual transmission) Check the clutch master cylinder reservoir to ensure clutch fluid is at the top mark. Important – only use the manufacturer’s specified grade of clutch fluid.

6. Check that the battery terminals are clean and the connecting cables are tightly fastened to the terminals.

7. Windscreen washer fluid – make sure this is full.

8. Radiator Hoses – when the car motor is cool squeeze the top and the bottom radiator hoses. If the hoses feel a little tough to squeeze and they spring back to their original shape quickly then there are most probably no problems. If however, you hear crackling noises from inside the hose or it feels really spongy, it is most probably time to change the hoses.

If you need a second opinion do not hesitate to get your local mechanic or radiator specialist to check things over for you. It’s better to have this important system working well before you start than have it fail, stranding you and the family and possibly damaging your motor.

If you do not feel confident checking all these items you could get the car serviced, checking with the mechanic that all these systems are OK.

Secret #3. Car Driving Techniques

The whole idea of this article is to offer you money saving tips and hints. One of the major costs of road trips if fuel. The way you drive, the way you pack the car, tire pressures and the amount of luggage you pack can all have a marked effect on your fuel consumption. Let’s check out a few of these below:

Packing – try not to pack anything on the roof (in a roof rack) if at all possible. This can increase you fuel usage by up to 5 mpg.

Speed – try to stay at a steady speed, preferably at or less than 55 mph. If you travel at 65 mph your fuel usage can increase by up to 8% and more as you travel faster.

Easy on controls – drive to anticipate road and traffic conditions. If you can reduce the sudden acceleration and braking by being more observant you will save fuel and give the passenger a more comfortable ride.

Tire pressures – inflate to manufacturer’s specification before traveling too far. Under-inflated tires can have a marked impact on fuel usage – increasing it by up to 6 mpg.

Secret #4. Coupons

If you plan a little in advance and save coupons (or print them out from the internet) you may save on fuel costs, accommodation, fun park entry fees and meals.

Secret #5. Printable kids games

Bored kids can sometimes ruin an otherwise great road trip. You may wish to download some games the whole family can enjoy. These will entertain the kids and interaction of the whole family will make the time pass quickly. You can find some free games download links at my website. See author bio at the end of this article for the link.

Secret #6. Use correct fuel

Only use the type and grade of fuel recommended by the car’s manufacturer. Running on premium grade when the car does not need it, is a waste of money.

Secret #7. Be seen and be able to see clearly

Before you leave ensure that all exterior lights lenses on the car are clean and all lights are working properly. Also clean the inside and outside of all car windows so that your vision is not impaired by road grime or bugs.

I trust that these tips will save you money and help you have a safe, fun road trip.

Comparison: Galvo Lasers Versus Flatbed Lasers

As we know there are many wavelength lasers that can be used for marking/engraving. The predominant ones are CO2 and YAG lasers. These wavelengths stretch the spectrum from far infrared to near infrared. The choice as to which laser type to use is really based on the material being marked.

For this article, we are going to concentrate on Yb: Fiber lasers that range from 1060 to 1070 nanometers. These are most often used for marking metals, achieving contrast on certain plastics and paint/ink removal. As the laser sources are essentially the same between galvo and flatbed units, the actual beam delivery system is the critical decision point.

First a quick definition of each type is warranted. Galvo is short for “galvanometer ” which is a high speed, high accuracy motor that is used to direct the beam to a location in space. The term “steered beam” is commonly used as a descriptor for this type of laser. Mirrors are mounted to the end of two independent galvo motors and very fast deflection of the two mirrors working in tandem will cover an area with the focused beam. Special optics called “flat field” lenses allows the beam to be delivered perpendicular to the work piece over a given area. The most common field sizes are 4″ sq (5.5″ diameter) and 7″ sq, or 8″ diameter. Generally speaking the marking quality is about the same across the entire field.

Flatbed lasers, also known as “gantry” lasers deliver the beam via a XY plotter system most usually driven by AC or DC servo motors. This is a delivery type more common to CO2 lasers but is becoming widely used with Yb: Fiber lasers and YVO4 Vanadate lasers. The combination of the servo motors and belt driven gantry arms allows for large area to be covered. There are several gantry type Fiber lasers that allow areas as large as 24″ x 36″ to be addressed. Based on the plotter style of delivery the beam is focused through the center a simple lens and down on to the work piece. The XY axis then moves the focused beam around the marking area in a linear motion (usually in raster mode).

So why is one better than another? In fact, you can’t say one is better without using the actual application or process as the driving indicator. I have had the opportunity to work for companies who supply both types. This both a blessing and curse from a salesman’s perspective. Most companies who manufacture a flatbed system do not have the experience or expertise to put out a competitive galvo unit. On the other hand, it is nice to have each technology to fall back on.

So perhaps the first rule of thumb is to consider what the vendor’s key products are. If they make flatbeds, rotary engraver, percussion stampers etc…galvo lasers are probably not their main concern. I work for Electrox, who does nothing but make steered beam, laser marking systems. There are several other companies who operate in the same mode, where galvos are their specialty. Likewise, there are a number of companies where flatbed lasers are their bread and butter. In selecting the technology, consider the knowledge base of the supplier.

If cycle time is not the main issue, I recommend getting samples processed for evaluation by both technologies. Having marked parts that you can compare side by side, with different laser types is a luxury that one should not pass up. If speed of the mark is the key, galvo systems are the only way to go. If your parts are very large, the flatbed system may be preferable though most galvo suppliers offer a programmable XY table option. Evaluate the pricing and the quality of the marks if this is your situation.

Galvos are much better if the marking is going to be “inline”, i.e. on a automated production line. Most flatbeds are not suited for customization. Flatbeds, though slower in processing speed actually sometimes yield more production when you are running in batch mode. Batch mode is when you lay like parts out in a matrix and then process them in a rows and columns format. The relatively slow speed of the flatbeds typically will allow the operator to conduct other operations in parallel with the marking. A hint is to ask your vendor to supply a time study based on your exact production requirements.

Fiber lasers, I am speaking of the actual “engine” of the system, are very reliable and long lasting. Galvo systems require less maintenance that flatbeds, but this is nominal for either. The longer stroke of the gantry types does create conditions where belts need to be adjusted and alignment is more critical. Still this is a very easy process and generally not an issue in production.

Flatbed systems usually operate off of a more graphic oriented program such as CorelDraw. So if you are doing a lot of image manipulation, logos, photos this may be the better choice. If you are interested in variable text such as bar coding, serialization, and date coding the galvo systems are usually superior. Always ask for a demo of the software when selecting a laser. Note: I even wrote an earlier article about selecting laser marking software. Ease of use is key.

The selection of the equipment is something that you will have to live with for some time, so it is mission critical that you evaluate all the options. Make sure that you understand what you will be using the laser for now and what you may need it for in the future. We as manufacturers cannot make machines bigger, faster and easier to use after the fact, so make sure you purchase equipment that can grow with you as your business expands.

So in conclusion, never buy strictly on price. Consider all of the performance characteristics of each type of beam delivery system and most importantly which type will be the biggest advantage to you and your business.

Here’s How to Use Artificial Nails

Hi, I believe false or artificial nails are a very good solution to protect and or to enhance the beauty of your nails. You see, if your nail breaks down, you can use an artificial nail. Or, if your nails are very short, you will love those temporary nails on your fingers. The result is immediate. They are not expensive and you can do-it-yourself at home. In this short article, I will share with you some tips to fit your new nails at home with minimum efforts and complications.

First, it’s not difficult but you will have some works to do in order to perfectly fit your original nails and to match your desire result. Your first step will be to select a complete nail enhancement kit. Inside your kit, you will find the artificial nails, an adhesive and a mini-scissor. What you have to check is the quality of the nail and of the adhesive.

The very first thing to do is to cleanse your nail to remove any dust or particles that will deform your applications and that will weaken the longevity of your adhesive. An important tip to do if you change regularly your nails is to use a natural cleanser to preserve your nails.

Your next step is to file and shape your nails. Select carefully a nail for each of your fingers and then file the edges if necessary to have a perfect result. Then you use the adhesive on your natural nail to match the surface of your new nails, in this step, you really need to spread a really thin layer of adhesive. So now, you have to place the nails very close to your cuticle without touching it. When it’s well-positioned you just have to apply a small and a short pressure in the middle to use the glue. When everything is glued, file off any edges. Finally, you do your current job to apply two layers of your nail varnish and then your topcoat to seal the whole thing.

Your natural nails need to breathe, to take the natural air and the sun, so I really recommend you to wear them no more than a month. One month is the maximum. It’s obvious but I have to specify that use the adhesive from your kit or an adhesive made for your nails, do not ever use a common adhesive from your supermarket (or from your kids). Once again, when you decide to remove your artistic nails use a natural remover with non-acetone to protect your healthy nails. Of course, always use first, a remover. Do not try to peel it off yourself directly without a remover.

Hope that help!

Beauty in Architecture

‘Conceptual Art’ that dominates the world is locked substantially into the realm of thinking which is why we are required to learn about the individual particularity of the artist and her ideas. Conceptual art by its own definition has moved substantially into the cerebral realm, and minimised the experiential dimensions of the works. In 1941, the architectural historian Sigfried Giedion, discussed a split which he perceived to have opened up between society’s thinking and feeling; a split which he described as being one of the illnesses of our age. It was a schism that he felt society we were leaving behind with the onset of modernism, but as we are seeing, that was a premature conclusion. That split has not yet been resolved; indeed it seems to be wider than ever and the fragmentation of the artistic disciplines and their respective audiences seems to be for ever increasing within the context of our post-modern world. The relativity and inclusiveness of Post-modernism is to be welcomed and celebrated but the fact that everything should be tolerated does not mean that everything should be equally valued. The post-modern condition does not suggest a way out of this situation. In the post-modern world everything is different but equal; to introduce value into such a relative world we need to transcend the relative, engage the qualitative, and thus enter the world of excellence, the theme of this conference.

The reason I feel that excellence is a way out of the post-modern maelstrom is because it requires us to transcend the relativity of variety, difference and interpretation. ‘Excellence’ we find defined as “pre-eminent in quality”, and ‘quality’ defined as “Degree of excellence”. It is one of those words whose definition seems to be cyclical. Its meaning appears to turn in on itself, it becomes difficult to pin it down, it is elusive rather like the phenomenon itself. It seems to me to belong to another realm, another dimension. If the relative world operates in the two dimensional plane of everyday life, the life of variety, change and difference, the qualitative world of excellence potentially cuts vertically through that dimension at every point. We could perhaps also imagine it as a series of qualitative planes stacked one above the other with the pre-eminent plane suggesting excellence. But the pre-eminent plane is never wholly grasped because the vertical transcendent dimension is infinite. Although this qualitative axis cuts through the relative world and is experienced in terms of the relative world, its characteristics are wholly different.

If the relative world is understood in terms of the relationships between objects, forms, colours, textures and ideas the qualitative dimension is distinguished by the nature of those relationships. If the relative world is described by ‘what’, the qualitative dimension is described by ‘how’. We could almost say that in the qualitative realm it matters less what objects, forms, colours, ideas are related in a work, but more importantly how they are related. When we talk about ‘what we relate’, we talk about the type, the size, the number, the cost; when we talk about ‘how we relate’, we talk about taking time, about taking care and even about loving what we are doing. When we are in the qualitative realm we focus on the way that things are brought together. The precision with which colours, forms, textures and ideas are balanced and composed becomes all important to the artist and architect. It is because these creative individuals are concerned about the way things are brought into relationships that the work as a ‘wholly integrated ensemble’ becomes more important than the individual parts. Beyond that, the way that that ensemble is stitched into the greater whole of the discipline or more generally the culture, is also of equal importance. Wholeness and balance are therefore central phenomena in a consideration of the qualitative dimension of architecture and the arts.

Scaffolding Towers Review: The Popular Mini Fold Model

Scaffolding towers are popular and exceptionally safe ways to work at high height. Whether you’re an ambitious homeowner with plenty of DIY projects, or a busy tradesman with a long queue of jobs, using a scaffolding tower is a great way to expedite the work. However, these towers have their own set of inherent features and functions that you should be aware of. Safety is of paramount importance, as well. Here’s some information about working safely on them and about a popular model called the “mini fold.”

About the Mini Fold Scaffold

This is a scaled-down version of the scaffold towers commonly found in industrial and trade environments. It’s a lightweight yet robust structure that’s ideal for use by a single person. A mini fold tower also works well where space is limited. In fact, many people find that a mini fold is safer, more stable, and easier to use than a conventional step ladder. When using this type of equipment, it’s important to ensure that it’s deployed on firm and level ground, and that the structure is well secured. Refer to the manufacturer’s instructions to determine the safe working height, and never exceed it.

Features of the Mini Fold Scaffold Tower

This tower can be used indoors or outdoors, but never use sheeting on it, or use it in high winds. The work area measures 1.50m x.70m and the tower has six different platform heights. Four 5″ locking castors are included, and a guardrail pack is available separately. The tower folds down to a size that’s easy to stow in a caravan or carry on a roof rack. Although the tower is deceptively easy to transport and deploy, it’s important to follow all recommended safety rules. For example, when indicated, always install outriggers or stabilisers according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Do not overload the tower with heavy equipment, and never use the tower to hoist materials.

A Few Specifications of the Mini Fold Scaffold Tower

Mini fold scaffolding towers typically carry an HD1004 Class 3 rating. HD1004 is more widely known as BS1139: Part 3, and is the European standard that applies to prefabricated mobile access industrial duty towers. It does not apply to domestic duty towers. HD1004 is used in 18 different EU countries, and although not a legal requirement, is a feature to look for when buying or using a scaffolding tower. The mini fold tower will support a maximum load of 150kg, and is made from light, yet durable aluminium. It is 1.5m long, and has an open height of 1.7m. This industrial quality tower has locking castors for extra safety. It weighs 32kg and is.7m wide. The platform height is 1.7m, and the tower sells for about £270.

When properly used, scaffolding towers like the mini fold are quite safe. It is important, though, to use it responsibly. Do be aware, as well, that there are certain weather conditions, such as high winds and driving rain, that will destabilise it.

Horseback Riding – The Art of Acquiring Balance – Part 1

As a riding instructor, one of the biggest challenges I face is that of convincing my students that the key to all successful riding is acquiring proper balance in the saddle.

For some strange reason, many students think that horseback riding is easy and does not require much work. It's as though they should be born with the natural talent to ride horses. It is not until after the first few lessons that they realize that proper riding requires the rider to do more than just sit in the saddle. It takes hard work and, particularly, a strong focus on developing a balanced seat.

How does one "find" their seat? The following exercises have been designed to teach riders the necessary skills to help them acquire balance on their horse.

The first step toward achieving balance is learning to "feel" the horse's movements. This can be done quite easily by simply dropping your stirrups and relaxing in the saddle while your horse walks. Keep in mind that the "walk" is a four beat gait. The easiest movements to feel are those of the hind hoof. The rider should lean back and rest his right hand on the horse's right hip. Remember to really lean into the horse and shift your weight back into your hand. You should be able to feel when the right hind hoof is moving forward. Repeat the exercise on the other side.

The next step is to ride your horse outside of the arena. Again, no stirrups. Walk your horse through ditches, up and down hills and over objects on the ground. Notice how your weight shifts as your horse travels down a hill. This exercise is about feel so do not try to correct your body position. Just be aware of it. You should feel your body moving with your horse. Your center of gravity has changed and you are "centered" with your horse. Note your body position with every change of movement from your horse. If you relax, you will always find your "center" and thus be balanced.

If you feel confident enough, try these exercises without a saddle. This is the ultimate riding experience and the best way to become one with your horse. These exercises may seem very basic and, frankly, they are. Acquiring balance is not difficult. It does, however, require practice, time and patience.

This ends Part 1 of my series on "The Art of Acquiring Balance". Please check back to continue the series and discover what every good rider must strive toward to become a better rider.

Fire Pit Table

A fire pit table creates a seamless balance between a propane fire pit and outdoor dining. Imagine a standard firepit with the added functionality of a large dining table. As a stand alone piece of outdoor furniture, there’s no getting away from the fact that firepits are fast becoming the latest must-have gadget for backyard dwellers everywhere. However, when you can combine heating and eating into one spot, why buy a firepit when a fire pit table covers both bases?

You will acquire the warmth, comfort and aesthetics of an outdoor fire whilst being able to gather around it enjoying a meal with family and/or friends. You’ll no longer find yourself balancing a tray on your knees or standing around trying to prevent your sausages from rolling off the edge of your paper plate. No more rough-neck cook outs, unless you like chasing your sausages around the patio.

As with a regular propane fire pit, the fire pit table can be purchased in an array of styles, sizes and materials. You can opt for something that’s little bigger than a coffee table or aim for something akin to a standard dining room set – elevated from the ground and including matching seating. You’ll also find with the larger designs that you’ve got the option to cover the firepit, in the event that you’ve no wish to light it.

They come supplied with a firepit cover, providing you with the option to further enlarge the surface area, should you need one. Added to that, a number of the larger models can be purchased with a supplementary grilling device. This offers you the ability to use the firepit facility as a cooking area, though you would have to plump for the charcoal or wood burning variety.

However, that brings a whole new dimension to backyard barbecues. You can sit round your fire pit table, entertaining or simply spending time with family and friends – and all you have to do when you want a burger is lean over a whip one off the grill. What more can a backyard cookout king – or queen – want?

Ultimately, the best way to determine the variety that you’ll be happy with is to simply look at what’s available. Use the internet, visit gardening outlets and so on. Determine the size by doing an honest appraisal of the space available and factor in what you want a fire pit table for. Whatever you do, don’t buy one on a whim. They’re an expensive piece of outdoor furniture and better to spend your money wisely than foolishly.

As the years passed, several companies adopted new technologies to create multi-position ladders to enhance the flexibility, efficiency and safety of workers.

Ladder systems offer different safety and productivity features. Selection of the materials down to the engineering and manufacturing of the components of a ladder system is carefully performed. This is done to avoid any malfunctions while a worker is mounted on a ladder. It has been recorded that around 65,000 people have received emergency treatments annually due to several ladder accidents.

A careless investment on ladder systems can result to serious injuries or worst death of a worker. As the worker ascends or descends on a ladder, it is very important that the ladder is stable and flexible enough to support the worker’s movement.

Let the following information guide you in selecting the best system that will best fit any household or industrial job.

What are the different ladder system types?

  • If you are looking for a ladder for home use, check those that are labeled light-duty Type III ladders. This ladder system is usually 3-6 feet long and can carry a maximum workload of 200 lbs.
  • Medium-Duty Type II ladders can hold up to 225 lbs of workload. These are ladders that can be a minimum of 3 feet and a maximum of 12 feet long.
  • A ladder system labeled as heavy duty Type I are used for heavy duty industrial environment. This system can be from 3 to 20 feet long and can support up to 250 to 300 lbs.
  • A workload capacity includes the user’s weight as well as any additional materials or equipment carried by the user.

What are the basic requirements for an approved ladder system?

  • The step spacing of a ladder system should be uniform and positioned in a parallel manner. To ensure the worker’s safety, the step spacing should be at a maximum of 12 inches.
  • The rails found on the side of a ladder should be kept at a minimum of 11 ½ inches.
  • The width of the side rails should be no less than 1 inch.

Basic considerations that a buyer need to keep in mind:

When purchasing ladders made of metals, check for possible dentures, sharp edges or any product defects that can cause injury.

The work that you are going to do is the main consideration in choosing the material of the ladder you will be using. If you will perform jobs requiring you to fix some electrical equipment, aluminum may not be the best ladder to use. This is because aluminum is considered as an electricity conductor.

Choose a ladder system that has slip-resistant steps to ensure footing stability.

Test the stability of the ladder by stepping or jumping on its first step. If it moves, then it is an indicator to move to the next ladder.

Most ladders sold in the market claims that they are the most safe, secure and durable. Some companies may prove this true. At the end of the day, choosing the best ladder system is your call to make!

Then holding the plunger with a strong and heavy grip, steadily pull the plunger to pop out the dent from the metal surface of the car. For a more effective and tighter sealing, a useful tip is to slightly wet the rubber head of the household plunger.
