Do You Want A Tile Roof?

There are many different types of roofs and roofing materials. There are choices according to style, durability, cost, size and textures. One type of roof used includes a tile roof.

Having a tile roof provides a variety of choices. There are different shapes, textures, colors, designs and thicknesses. These tiles are used with soft plastic materials and resemble the tiles used inside the house such as in flooring. These tiles are hardened and molded with heat or a chemical reaction. Other options include been made from cement, clay or concrete that are made to be fireproof. If the tile roof material is Class A as a fire rating is fireproof. These tile roofs have been known to protect a home if there are fires in the area. Having a tile roof such as this will help prevent or delay a fire allowing time for it to be protected and saved by the fire department.

Weight is not an issue with roofs either. They are thin and not any heavier than layered asphalt shingles. When homeowners are having a tile roof installed they can talk to their roofer about any concerns about this situation and the materials being used. Cement tiles are often considered the most lightweight of the tile materials available. Another element for a tile roof is this material is color safe in the sun as it will not fade.

Price for a roof is another concern as with any job there is a budget. There are a range of prices when it comes to a tile roof. There are expensive options and more cost effective options. Often quality is a sign of cost and a more quality item will cost more. Nevertheless, a concrete material tile is the least expensive usually. When it comes to tile roofing the price is higher for bigger sized tile. The manufacturer also will indicate how high the price will be. Another element to consider is installation as a smaller tile will cost more during this process to get the job done. When using small tiles more tiles will be needed and that means placing more down for the roof. Homeowners are advised to keep these factors in mind when choosing tile. Small tiles might cost less, but could be as costly as or even more expensive than a larger tile once installation is figured into the total cost.

In US, the most common tiles that are seen are clay tiles in a myriad of colors. Some of them are glazed, while others are colored in shades that are fade proof even in bright sunlight. the only reason that stronger concrete tiles are less preferred, even though they cost less is because they are fade away in the sun. Other varieties of tiles that are in common use include fiber-cement tiles, wood shakes and shingles, simulated clay, slates and wood. If you are looking for lighter but strong tiles, fiber-cement tiles are available in different colors and patterns. Now you can select the tiles that fit within your budget and consult the local roofing company to get more advice.

How to Paint Snow Covered Mountains

What is the one thing that always creates interest in an oil painting? The one thing that stands out more than any other part? Of course it is the mountain or mountains in the background. A snow capped mountain almost always becomes the object in a painting that draws people to take a second look. After all mountains represent the strength of nature, standing there high above everything else.

When I start a painting that has a mountain I have to think to myself, How much of a focal point do I want the mountain to be. If it is to be the main object in the painting I usually paint it large enough to draw all eyes to it. The rest of the painting sort of fills out around it. When it is not I generally paint it smaller to allow something else to be the focal point. However no matter if it is the focal point or not the steps to paint them is the same.

First thing to decide is the position. A common mistake beginner artist make is the start right in the middle of the canvass. What this does is split the canvass in two and does not allow the person looking at the painting to let their eyes wonder. Letting their eyes wonder is what you want, so position of the mountain is important. Try to position the mountain just off center, either to the right or left. Do not paint them at the edge of the canvass or the persons eyes will “fall of the canvass”.

Step two is mixing the base color. Take a pallet knife and mix a base color of blue with a little alizoran crimson. If the Mountain is going to be far away I might want to lighten the mix with a little gray. Notice I said Gray and not white. The gray will have to be on the lighter shade but the reason I use gray is things that are far away are not lighter but grayer. This is my rule but if you like you can use white.

Now using the knife draw the basic shape of the mountain peaks. Really scrape the paint into the canvass. Don’t make basic triangles but try to think about where rocks may be as you draw the shape. Now take a dry brush and pull down from the peaks. This does two things. First it takes away access paint and it allows you to create the angle of the mountain. Don’t pull straight down but on an angle.

Next is the highlight. Take some straight white, Light Gray, or a mixture of white with a small amount of red to make a light Pink (Make sure the pink is light.). Starting at the top of the highest peak (using no pressure) Pull the paint down. When you do this with no pressure the base color underneath pulls off just enough of the highlights. Let the paint break! Do not go over it again and again! All you will do is cover up all the base color and that is not what you want to do. Also remember to follow the angle you created with the brush a moment ago.

The next step is the shadow color. Take a “little” blue or a combination of blue and black and add it to the highlight color. Using the same technique you used for the highlight color, add the shadow color only going in the opposite direction. When you do this however it might be a good idea to place your knife right where the highlight ends. This way there is no break in the snow.

Now you can go back and forth with the highlight, and shadow color creating different peaks on the mountain. Just continue to follow these techniques. Oh and one last thing. Take a clean brush and tap the bottom of the mountain to create a mist effect. (This is done on a wet on wet canvass) This way you can start on other parts of the painting without worrying about going into your mountain colors.

Gothic Clothing in the World of Film

Cinema has produced some memorable films with a Gothic theme, and the wardrobe department of each of these is crucial to developing the look of the film. Getting Gothic clothing to look just right in a film is essential in looking like the genuine article to those who enjoy films, books, TV and music inspired by this style. This article looks at the common themes found in Gothic clothing, as they have appeared in several films.

The original Blade, starring Wesley Snipes, hit the big screen in 1998 and grossed 130 million dollars worldwide. Its success is sometimes credited with starting a revival of comic book characters in film. Central to the film’s look was Wesley Snipe’s (Blade’s) Gothic clothing. A long black leather jacket with metal buckles provides the main piece of clothing, while Snipe’s face is perpetually dominated by a pair of dark sunglasses. Heavy boots and of course the rather sharp armament complete the look which could arguably have influenced subsequent films. Blade is based on a Marvel comic character, which was developed in 1973 by Marv Wolfman and Gene Colan.

It could be argued that Underworld (2003) starred a character with a similarly icy disposition to Snipes – in Kate Beckinsale. She coolly deals out death a plenty to ‘Lycans’ (a form of Werewolf) in a similar manner to Snipes, though naturally adding a little more sex appeal for the male audience. In terms of dispatching the enemy, Beckinsale opts for a handgun – and prefers to give her victims eye contact – as she does not sport sunglasses as she delivers her killer blows. Her Gothic clothing is however similar to Snipes, with a long black overcoat, with a general feeling of PVC and blackness pervading her look.

Beckinsale sticks with the Gothic clothing and film theme in 2004’s Van Helsing, in which she co-starred with Hugh Jackman. Grossing 300 million dollars, the film did well financially, although did not receive glowing reviews from critics. The gothic theme however, saw the film through – with a Kate Beckinsale dressed in similar black Gothic clothing as in Underworld – but in this flick the male lead get the trench coat, notably though, the producers have broken with tradition and gone for a brown one. This innovation might be considered the only one of the film, which gave us some pretty standard gothic-vampire fare.

These three movies display some notable common themes in terms of Gothic clothing, particularly associated with the main characters. Black leather or PVC crop up again and again, along with long, dramatic trench coats – usually of the black order. Black trousers and heavy boots complete the outfit, ideal for the soldier-like duties of these blood thirsty characters.

As an aside, the weaponry wielded by Blade, Van Helsing and to a lesser extent Underword’s Selene all provide ample opportunity to spill blood a plenty. Dripping, spurting and splodging, fresh red blood is one of the pre-requisites for any self respecting vampire or gothic film – no wonder then, that these characters choose black gothic clothing, a shade which hides a multitude of sins, i.e. – blood.

Hummingbird Fish Finders – Side Imaging Vs Down Imaging

Have you ever thought of taking your fishing experience to the next level? Well, I’m not saying to participate to professional tournaments, but just to do something to always be one step ahead other fishermen or even one step ahead of fish. The best solution for that is one of the best models of Hummingbird Fish Finders.

Anyway, not many fishermen are aware of all the possibilities that Hummingbird Fish Finders can unlock. They have many questions related to them. So, in this article, I’m going to try to answer a few common questions that people generally ask about these fish finder GPS units, especially about the Side Imaging and Down Imaging features.

What is Side Imaging?

Side Imaging is a feature that some of the top-class Hummingbird Fish Finders have. The Side Imaging sonar casts a thin beam, up to 240 ft on each side of your boat, taking a quick snapshot of all the shapes underneath the boat. This snapshot is added to the images taken before and after, and a clear, photo-like image of the bottom, structures and fish will appear on your screen. Although the images look almost like photos, it’s important to know that you won’t deal with any kind of underwater camera, but with a high frequency sonar which “feels” every shape that’s on each side of your boat, on a distance up to 240 ft.

What is Down Imaging?

Similar to the Side Imaging, Down Imaging is also provided by a high-frequency sonar. However, in this case your fish finder will display images of what’s exactly under your boat. The sonar beam will be cast directly under your boat, showing all the structures, ditches, bumps, fish, trees that you pass over. The images provided by the Down Imaging system are a bit tricky, though. On the first look on an image you won’t understand exactly the distance between the certain objects, or how far away they are from you. But after you’ll take your Down Imaging Hummingbird Fish Finder for 2-3 fishing trips, you’ll get used to this feature and understand perfectly everything that will show up on your screen.

What’s Best – Side Imaging or Down Imaging?

First of all not all the Hummingbird Fish Finders have both these features, only the high-end ones. In fact you either have both on your unit, only Down Imaging, or none and in this case you’ll have to rely on the returns of the SwitchFire system. So, if you’re on a budget, you can either aim for a smaller Humminbird fish finding unit like 798ci HD SI Combo which has both these features, or for a unit that doesn’t have Side Imaging at all.

Side Imaging is best to use if you’re scanning for a new fishing spot. Since it allows you to see an up to 480 ft surface from the left to the right of your boat, it’s an excellent feature that Hummingbird Fish Finders can provide you with, for the inspection of a lake or any waters that are new to you.

If you already have one or two fishing spots as your targets for your fishing expedition, and you basically know a few things about those particular spots, Down Imaging might be a better choice, if you want to place your boat on an exact location, over a certain ditch, wreck, sunken trees or over the big ones that you certainly want to catch.

What’s the Depth Reliability of Down Imaging and Side Imaging of Hummingbird Fish Finders?

Depending on the model of fish finder you’re looking at, better or lower quality returns. Anyway, in general, Side Imaging has a good reliability on waters up to 150ft deep. Down Imaging on models like 788ci HD DI Combo is reliable for depths up to 250ft.

If you’re going to fish in waters deeper than that, you will have to rely on the returns of the DualBeam/SwitchFire sonar, which has a depth penetration of up to 1500 ft.

Apart from Side Imaging and Down Imaging, Hummingbird Fish Finders will provide you with many other options. For example, they are great tools for chartplotting and trackplotting, you can store waypoints (which basically are the home addresses of fish) and routes in their memory database, some of the models have a built-in map package, and most Hummingbird Fish Finders have incorporated GPS. To be honest, I kinda feel lost without mine nowadays.

So, do you want to take your fishing to a superior level? To catch at least a big one on each fishing trip?

Essential Contract Terms

When you are looking for a good remodeler you need to ensure that some certain essential requirements are included in order to help reduce the number of disagreements should a problem arise. It is best to insist upon, as many of these suggestions be included in the contract as possible, however even with a good contract, it is possible to still have a bad contractor.

First, you want to make sure there is a diagram of the work to be done, try to make sure it includes as many details as possible so that there are no questions about what is expected from the contractor. If during the course of construction, you decide to make any changes make sure these changes are noted upon the diagram and you as well as the contractor initial the changes, and place the date beside it.

Second, start and completion dates should be specified. You want exact dates, not approximations in the contract.

Third, an agreement should be included in the contract that will cover how changes will be handled. You want to make sure you fully understand this portion since most projects require at least minor changes to be made during the construction process.

Fourth, look for a contract that gives you a warranty on the work that is done. At a minimum, you should insist upon a one-year warranty. If you are able to negotiate a longer warranty then by all means do so as it will be a huge savings if a problem occurs after the work is done.

Fifth, there should be a binding arbitration clause included. However, it should also be written that you are able to escalate your claim to a lawsuit if you feel that the arbitration process is not working.

Sixth, there should also be a clause in the contract that specifies how the contract can be canceled. This section of the contract should be very, very specific and you should have no questions about how this happens. It should also be very clear when the contractor is allowed to cancel the contract.

Seventh, you want to look for a statement in the contract that includes how you will be released from any liens or liabilities from subcontractors as well as suppliers. You do not want to be responsible for your contractor not paying their bills. Ensure that there is very detailed information here about the way in which any liens will be handled.

How to Paint on Canvas

Have you ever wanted to paint beautiful, expressive paintings with oils? Here are some basics to guide you into the wonderful world of oil paints. Once you've got the basic techniques down, the world is your canvas!

1.Choose a place to work where there is good ventilation. A window or door can be opened, or good ventilation can be turned on, and / or you have a fairly open space where air can circulate and move around. If you paint outside, remember that you will need to set up securely so the wind will not blow things over. Note that insects, especially bees, love Citrus Thinner.

2.Adjust your easel so that you can easily touch the painting surface without bending down or standing on tip-toes while holding the brush. Hold your brush at or behind the bulge behind its ferrule (the silver part). You will stand for hours, so make sure you will not strain your back. Standing is better than sitting, but if you must sit, paint at arm's length from the easel.

3.Put down a drop cloth, plastic bag, or tarp. Secure the edges with masking tape to keep it from bunching up or blowing away. Your work area is going to stand entirely on the drop cloth, so make sure you have covered enough area to have plenty of elbow room. If you plan on working at a table with a table easel, cover the floor below you and the table top.

4.Put on your painting clothes.

5.Set up your paints. Have enough room for your palette, brushes and palette knife, solvent and solvent / oil containers, rags and paint tubes to be comfortably displayed, readily available for you to use.

6.Paint. This part really depends on what you want to produce. However, there are certain things to keep in mind no matter what you're painting.

For example, oil paints have a short blending life on the canvas. It is not hard to turn an area into a dull brown mud spot if there are a lot of repetitive layers and alterations made. If you try to alter something and it does not work immediately, grab a rag and wipe it off. All the paint from that area will come off.

Oils take a while to dry, so you have time to remove paint for almost 24 hours after the application. Just like any other paint, if you make the first coat too thick, it will not dry all the way.

7.Clean the brushes well between color changes. When you are ready to remove paint from your brush and use a different color, wipe as much paint off with a rag as you can before putting the brush into the thinner. This will make your thinner last longer and will remove more paint from the brush. Swish your brush in the thinner container, then dry it off with a rag.

8.Give your work of art its space. When the first layer is complete, it will be about 48 hours before it will be dry enough to do the second application without smearing your first day's work. Do not leave your work in an area that is especially hot, or humid, and keep it in an area where it will not get smeared, scraped, touched, brushed up against, smooshed, etc.

9.If there is a good amount of paint left on your palette that can be used next time, use your palette knife to scrape the "good" paint together, then dampen a clean rag with thinner just slightly and wipe the rest of your palette clean. Use a piece of saran wrap to cover the leftover paint, wrapping it fairly snug.

10.Wipe dirty brushes off as much as possible with clean rags and then swish in the thinner, until there does not appear to be paint coming off of the brush.

11.Put the lid on the thinner container and leave it until next time, regardless of how cloudy it is. When the thinner settles, the pigment in the paint goes to the bottom, and clean thinner settles on top. The next time you want to paint, you can pour the clean thinner into a clean container, wipe the pigment from the bottom, then pour the thinner back into your thinner container, this process saves a lot of money!

FL Studio VST Plugins for Mixing and Mastering

FL Studio VST plugins for mixing and mastering are not hard to come across with the exception of 1 mastering plugin being an out of pocket expense. The mastering suite I’m speaking about is a VST called Izotope Ozone 4. M-Audio does have an upgrade to version 5 but version 4 still works wonders, but before I go into detail on how I implement it let me explain my set up.

The first thing I do is find an instrumental either I’ve created or that has been produced from someone else. Then I create a folder titled whatever the name of the track is. Drop the name of the track into folder and open FL Studio. I drag and drop the beat into the digital canvas then I go to File, Save As, find the directory of the folder that was made, name it, and click Save. Now it’s time to set up all the processes for mixing and mastering in a simultaneous environment.

The next thing I do is put the instrumental on its own mixer track and in the FX chain these are the effects I put in order, chain number 1 I drop in a Fruity Parametric EQ 2, chain number 7 I drop Ozone Izotope 4, and on chain number 8 a Fruity Limiter. I leave a gap in the effects to make room for additional VSTs if the mix calls for it.

I set up my vocal processes in 2 mixer tracks that work together. In the FX chain of the vocal processes I use 3 plugins. I use a Gate first, a compressor second, and a stereo imager or phazer in the third and in turn reroute it off the master and route it to the other mixer track that works as the recording agent.

Before I start to record I turn the volume down on the beat by about -10 dB give or take. This allows me to have some head room for the mastering process. Now back to the vocal process. On the Gate I set the threshold to about -40 which can vary depending on how you have your interface set up. The attack and release of the Gate I leave alone. On the compressor I set the threshold to -20dB, the ratio to a 2 to 1 ratio, and the gain to about 15dB which can also very depending on your mic and/or interface.

This allows for all real time vocal recording to be balanced with the compressor set up that way. The descriptions I’ve explained on the set ups are on the concept of borrowing the CPU to alleviate having to purchase any expensive external equipment.

How to Improve Your Communication Skills – 6 Ways

Whether for pleasure or for information gathering, good communication skills can be very beneficial during a conversation and can contribute to a positive experience for you and the person (s) with whom you are speaking. The following six ways to improve your communication skills are applicable in a group setting or a personal conversation and are great ways to build good rapport.

1. Be a Good Listener: When the other person is speaking, you can be a good listener by nodding or shaking your head in response to what that person is saying. Be conscientious and avoid being easily distracted while the other person is still speaking.

2. Be Respectful: You can show respect by being considerate of the other person while he or she is speaking. Avoid interrupting them while they're still talking. Be courteous; that respect you show towards that person will reflect very well on you.

3. Turn-Taking: Allow the other person to finish what they're saying and resist the temptation to finish their sentences; even if you already know what they're going to say. If the conversation gets off your point of interest, you can always bring it back when it's your turn to speak.

4. Be a Conversation Participant: Even if you do not care for the subject the other person has brought up, make an effort to show some interest in it anyway. Be patient, you'll get your turn to change the subject.

5. Remember Names: Sprinkle your conversation with the person's name to whom you are speaking. It may take a little practice if you're not used to doing this, but it makes your conversation more personal and helps you remember their name.

6. Appear Friendly: A smile is a charm, and people are more likely to enjoy having a conversation with a person with a smile rather than a person with a scowl. Your smile says you're receptive to listening while a scowl says, 'go away!'

Having good communication skills is very important and the benefits you reap are to your advantage. Opportunities to practice and to improve these skills arise all the time and the better skilled you are at managing a good conversation, the better your chances of getting your message across in a positive manner.

How to Draw Graphs in Microsoft Excel

Drawing a graph in Excel is a fairly easy thing to do these days. First let me clarify that charts and graphs in Excel are the same thing. There is no actual drawing to do it is a matter of a few simple clicks, that is what makes Microsoft Office so uncomplicated to use. I am including a little exercise for you to follow to create a line graph just to see how it works. You can create a make-believe Spreadsheet and enter fake data for this exercise or use an existing file if you have one.

Follow these simple steps.

• Enter your data without leaving blank rows or columns between data. When setting up your spreadsheet describe the data in one column and enter the data to the right of that. If there is more than one data Place a title for each data sequence then add its unique information in columns. Then the Graph Data will need to be selected.

• Using your mouse drag and highlight the cells with the information in them you wish to graph.

1. On the ribbon in Microsoft Excel 2007 Click insert

2. Click Chart category and click the graph type of your choice to select it

Choosing the right kind of chart for your data:

Generally speaking pie charts are only used when the categories' are small in number so the relative size of the different slices can be easily determined. For several categories' use a column chart. For data that must follow a sequential order use a line chart. Remember that a line chart will alter data that occurs at irregular time intervals. When you want to plot two numeric values against one another use XY Scatter Charts; furthermore, they are also good for recording data with irregular time intervals. When you can not seem to find a chart that fits your needs; you can create a custom chart based on the built-in chart types. You can also create a combination chart by combining two or more types in a single graph.

Some things to keep in mind when designing your graph are bulleted below:

• Line graphs should have no more than three or four data series
• Gridlines should be used to provide only approximate values use them sparingly
• When formatting choose colors that will be distinct on the printed copy
• Be conservative with text styles so as not to confuse data

Now you have learned how easy creating a graph can be; in addition, about the different types of graphs such for better design, choose the appropriate type in Excel. You can play with changing fonts and colors to format your graph to your liking.

3 Types of Invention Patents

A patent is a patent is a patent. False! There are many different subcategories of patents. This article demonstrates the 3 main types of invention patents:

1. Utility Patents (cover new and useful inventions such as mechanical devices, electronics, medical devices, biotechnology, gadgets, and processes for making things).

2. Design Patents (cover new and ornamental designs of products (articles of manufacture) such as containers, furniture, toys, or housewares).

3. Plant Patents (cover new and distinct plant varieties such as flowering plants, vegetables and fruit trees).

In the United States, if the inventor makes an offer to sell, makes a sale, or publicly discloses the invention, the inventor has one year from the earliest of those events to file a US patent application. Otherwise, an inventor will lose their US patent rights.

If an inventor makes an offer to sell, makes a sale, or publicly discloses the invention before filing a patent application he/she will likely lose their rights to file in foreign countries. WARNING: Don’t assume you know exactly what category your patent falls under. Sometimes there can be a very fine line between certain types of patents.

TIP: Try not to spend much time determining exactly what type of patent you should file for. This is one of the responsibilities of your patent attorney. Don’t be the patient who self-subscribes his/her illness on the internet, and then walks into the doctors office preaching to the doctor what they have! Same holds true for patents and intellectual property.

Display Shelves

Shelves are the best way to put your items and stuff for keeping and storage. On the other hand, shelves can also serve as your marketing and advertising equipment in displaying your items and stuff for everyone to see. How is this possible? For example, if you have a bakeshop business, placing your items and your specialty products on display shelves immediately markets and advertises your goods. It is sort of like showing what your products are for everyone to see which may eventually attract them to actually buying or purchasing one.

If you look at various business and retail establishments, from food to tools and equipments and even clothing, they all use display shelves. These shelves may vary from size, shape, built, material, and even their color and design. For example, bakeshops, food chains, and restaurants may use refrigerated display racks with lights inside, while magazine stores or book shops may use the conventional metal or wooden display shelving to place their items on.

Some popular types of display shelves are as follows; fabric display shelves, barrel racks for wines, wine racks, poster displays, jewellery displays, literature or magazine racks, revolving racks for postcards, magazines or accessories, basket displays and floor racks for tools, tower and hexagonal display cases, rectangular display cases, acrylic display shelves, brochure card displays, counter top displays for small goods and merchandises and the list could go on and on. The main idea is that you use your shelving display for marketing and advertising purposes. In addition to that, they may work well to your benefit if you put them in strategic areas for more people to see. You may place them on your front desk, counter tops, tables, near the window or even outside your business establishment. Once you have them on your stores or establishments this can very much work on your advantage.

Dinner Party Meal Ideas – Gourmet Champagne Chicken

This luxurious chicken recipe combines the salty flavor of prosciutto, the acidity of champagne and the aromatic flavor of fresh tarragon to get a startlingly good dish. Even though this is a gourmet recipe, there is nothing difficult about making it and if you are looking for dinner party recipe ideas this one is great.

Serve it with garlic mashed potatoes or rice. This recipe serves four people. You only need half a cup of champagne for this so choose a good one and serve the rest with the meal. A dry champagne suits this recipe best so pick something sufficiently dry.

This recipe is great because it is so simple. You just need to saute the ingredients, add the poultry, and then keep it in a warm oven while you finish off the sauce. Even if you are new to making such recipes or using ingredients like these you will find this a very simple dish to prepare. Obviously, your guests do not need to know how easy it is, so you can keep that bit of information to yourself!

When pounding the chicken, use the flat end of a meat mallet or, if you do not have one, a wooden rolling pin. The pointy end of a meat mallet is designed to tenderize tough steaks and it will tear your chicken to pieces, which is certainly not the effect you want.

What you will need:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup all purpose flour
  • 4 finely chopped slices prosciutto
  • 2 finely chopped shallots
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 cup fresh tarragon
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup dry champagne
  • Salt and black pepper

How to make it:

Preheat the oven to the lowest setting. Stretch some plastic wrap over your work surface and put the breasts on it. Put more plastic wrap over the top, and then flatten the chicken breasts to half an inch thick using a rolling pin or the flat end of a meat mallet. Combine the flour with some salt and pepper in a pan and coat both sides of the chicken in it. Shake off any excess flour.

Heat a skillet over a moderately high heat, then add the oil, and heat it for half a minute. Saute the shallots for three minutes or until they are translucent. Add the prosciutto and saute for one minute.

Add the butter and heat it. When it starts to foam, add the breasts, and cook for a couple of minutes per side or until golden brown. Take the chicken out of the pan and put it in a shallow pan covered with foil. Put it in the oven to keep warm.

Add the champagne to the pan, scraping up any stuck-on bits from the bottom. Add the tarragon and cream and bring the mixture to a boil. Simmer it for a couple of minutes, then put the chicken back in the pan and simmer it for another minute or until the sauce is thicker. Serve the meal immediately with your chosen side dishes.
