Franklin Roosevelt fascist policies prolonged a recovery from the 1930’s depression until it was twice as long as any in history. The same policies that FDR tried and failed at are being carried out in Washington today. Just like President Obama blaming the economic problems on his predecessor, Roosevelt blamed Herbert Hoover. The truth is unemployment was still 20 percent in 1939, six years after Franklin Roosevelt was elected president. Fascism is when a leader gets control of the government, the military and the business infrastructure. Think Hitler and Mussolini.

Generations have been led to believe that Roosevelt’s New Deal policies got the US out of the Great Depression. It’s all myth and a false legend. In fact, he started us on the path to Keynesian socialism that is now top-heavy. We are probably right in the middle of the Greater Depression crash. It could be three times as large and three times as long as the 1930’s depression according to author and deflationist, Robert Prechter. John Maynard Keynes preached that government could micro-manage the economy through stimulation, spending, investment, adjusting interest rates, adjusting tax rates, deficit spending, bailouts, borrowing and fiat money financing. An eighty year Kondratiev long wave world economic bubble was the result of the love affair with Keynesian economics. The Federal Reserve Bank cartel and monopoly was created in secret by the elitist Morgan and Rothchild families back in 1913. The value of the 1913 U.S. dollar is now down close to four cents. Fiat means “let it be made” in French, by the way. Aka inflation.

Socialism and communism never work. The socialist state is constantly creating counterfeit fiat paper money, spending too much, pushing tax rates higher, imposing rules and regulations limiting free enterprise, bailing out banks, bailing out companies, borrowing more than it brings in and fostering a welfare state that lets too many people live off the backs of the few citizens left working for real businesses. Eventually business people out of frustration give up trying. Then the bankers out of fear quit lending. Just like in the 1930’s Great Depression. The same thing is going down now. In 2008 it got so bad banks wouldn’t even lend to each other.

Franklin Roosevelt fascist policies started with signing of the National Industrial Recovery Act (NIRA), June 16, 1933. Henry I. Harriman, president of the United States Chamber of Commerce said, “I tried to show Roosevelt that this stuff was sheer fascism, that it was a remaking of Mussolini’s “corporate state” and refused to agree to any of it.

The NIRA was based on Franklin Roosevelt’s idea that bigger was best and more efficient. Most of us now know that it is small business startups that do the most hiring. Anyway, FDR said industry, labor and government must work together, as in Italy (Mussolini again), or risk staying in depression. There are no jobs left when the government make-work project is over. High tax rates and anti-business regulations just make depressions last longer. The growth in the size of government that Franklin Roosevelt socialist ideas started are the direct cause of the problems we face today.

His new regulations did not allow price cutting. FDR’s “brain trust” thought the problem was low prices. So, FDR backed price supports, tariffs like the Smoot-Hawley Act and even subsidies paying farmers not to grow. People were starving and he limited production? Most of these farm subsidies are still in effect today, by the way. The were never repealed.

22 million workers came under the 557 NIRA codes and 100 industries would be affected. All this regulatory red tape made it harder to do business and grow a company. The new regulations included minimum wage rules, child labor rules, maximum hour rules, health requirements, production quotas and standards regarding customer choice. Fearful business people slowed their activity.

One regulation outlawed the choosing of your own live chicken down at the chicken vendor. Instead “straight killing” was to be the FDR way – as the chicken was grabbed from the pen. In the kosher chicken butcher named Schechter court case, it was later ruled in Supreme Court that these laws were “coercive exercise of the law-making process.” The Schechter family fighting fearlessly for their good reputation was almost bankrupted by the FDR administration.

Production quotas were used to get prices up in oil. Macaroni components were restricted. Even what tailors could sew was stipulated. The idea was to increase efficiency with larger quantity. If smaller businesses died, that was just survival of the fittest according to FDR. Not the way to create jobs and get an economy working again, by the way. A better way is to lower their taxes.

The Agricultural Adjustment Administration was to create price supports and pay farmers not to produce. Again, why make food more expensive? Another negative effect was many Negro sharecroppers were thrown off the land they farmed so the owner could receive subsidy money to not produce. Whenever the government gets involved the free market goes out the window. Inefficiencies balloon. People don’t switch crops or switch production to products with more profit and more demand like they would in a free market.

The gold price was raised from $20 to $35 an ounce. Then the owning of gold was outlawed completely. Everyone had to exchange gold for fiat paper money. Gold clauses in contracts requiring payment in gold if the value of the paper money decreased were also invalidated. After most people turned in their gold coins it was disclosed that the law only covered bullion bars of gold. Where is the gold today?

His Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) power and dam project competed with private enterprise. Private companies could only own one “integrated system.” Multilevel companies had to be split up. Only 50% of the population had lights and FDR made it more difficult for utility companies to do business. Why?

The Franklin Roosevelt sponsored Social Security Act was supposed to “flatten out the peaks and valleys of deflation and inflation.” Now, it’s unfunded liabilities are projected to bankrupt the whole United States of America! The money paid in is not saved or invested.

What is deflation? It is the unwinding of all this socialism started by Franklin Roosevelt. We will see a 90% drop in most assets prices. Those in the know have probably already sold their real estate and now will be dumping stocks, bonds and gold only to buy them back in 2016 – 2018 when the unemployment rate may hit 30 percent. The price of gold may even drop in half.

President Obama and the Federal Reserve bank are trying more and more bailouts and monetization stimulus like quantitative easing one (QE1 of $1.2 trillion) and QE2 (of $600 billion). Obama’s Keynesian socialistic programs include Obamanomics, Obamacare, wealth redistribution, tax increases, bank bailouts, General Motors and Chrysler bailouts and “shovel ready” government job creation. President Obama just admitted publicly that there was no such thing as shovel ready jobs. Also, a superior judge ruled that Obamacare was actually a tax. President Obama said it wasn’t a tax.

The two biggest American myths are that the New Deal and World War Two got us out of the depression. Private sector jobs and new business innovation finally did it. Not the New Deal. Not dumping our men and material down a bottomless fox hole in Europe (or Korea, Viet Nam, Afghanistan or Iraq for that matter). Government was only 10% of GDP back in 1930. Now it is 30%. This economy’s top appears to have been the 2000 dot com stock climax.

Lobby for lower taxes so businesses can afford to hire workers who’s jobs won’t just disappear when the project is done. Like FDR’s CCC Corps jobs did. Lobby for private money backed by gold. Otherwise we may get runaway inflation and $5,000 gold after 2020. Lobby for smaller government or we may have a repeat of this whole runaway inflation cycle mess again. This is what led to the rise of Hitler. Hyperinflation.

A worldwide depression is here! There is only one way to slow it from running its course and the pendulum swinging to far toward deflation. Free enterprise. Stand up for FREEDOM AND LIBERTY.

Franklin Roosevelt fascist forte’ was political, not economic. He used his position to intimidate his critics and opponents. The FBI, the Internal Revenue Service and the alphabet soup of myriad new governmental agencies were used to mold people and their businesses into submission. These people were the citizens who thought Roosevelt brought hope. Today, President Obama preaches hope but leans more and more towards more government control. We need to be aware.

What is deflation? It is the de leveraging of a mountain of credit inflation. Mania credit bubbles always ends with a climax blow-off followed by a GREATER DEPRESSION than the last one.

How To Stop Roof Tiles Being Blown Off

Wind pressure is a common cause of failure for tiled roofs. As the wind moves over the roof it produces upward forces causing the roofing tiles to rattle or be removed completely.

Contrary to common belief, roofing tiles are not “blown off” a roof. The wind creates an upward force as it travels over the roof, causing the tiles to be sucked upwards. It is important to understand this subtle distinction in order to build a more secure roofing system. Securing tiles against upward lift is the key to keeping the tiles on the roof.

As the wind travels over the roof area, it causes the air pressure on top of the roofing to decrease. At the same time the pressure underneath the roof increases. The increase in pressure inside the loft space results in a positive pressure on the roof tiles. The negative pressure above causes the tiles to be sucked upwards, lifting the tail of the tile. The lower the pitch of the roofing, the higher the forces will be.

If the tiles are being sucked upwards rather than blown, the old method of roof tile fixing may not be the best. Traditionally roof tiles are nailed or pegged at the head or top of the tile. This secures the tile against the force of gravity but has little effect on upward tile lift. In fact the only thing securing the bottom of the tile is the tiles own weight.

Tests in the United Kingdom have proved that a roofing tile clipped or secured at the bottom can withstand 5 times the force of a head nailed roof tile. Tiles can be clipped or wired to ensure the tail is secured against wind uplift. This also stops the annoying rattle or chatter sometimes associated with wind swept roofs. The chatter occurs as tiles are lifted and dropped by the wind vortex. I prefer to use a bead of silicone between the tile courses to act as a second line of defence against tile chatter.

It is important to note here that modern roofing tile clips must be installed correctly if they are to have any effect. Tile clips are usually nailed in close proximity to the interlocking channel. Because of the risk of damaging the tile, there is a tendency to move the nail too far away from the interlock. The clip must be positioned at right angles close to the tile. The roofing clip should be securely bedded to prevent the tile working loose. In my opinion, the old system of wiring the bottom of the tiles is superior to modern clipping. The wire fixes to an eyelet on the bottom of the tile and in between tile courses onto the supporting baton. This has the effect of clamping down the tile. I have re-roofed wired roofs that are over 50 years old and the wire is still clamped tight.

The most important roofing component when it comes to preventing wind damage is the roofing felt. Roofing felt or sarking is placed under the batons before the tiles are fixed. The primary function of all roofing felt is to prevent wind damage. The waterproofing of the paper is far less important than its ability as a wind barrier. The sarking prevents the increase in pressure inside the loft, thus preventing wind uplift. It must be fixed securely with 150mm overlaps. An extra baton should be placed at the point where the sheets overlap to prevent wind travelling between sheets. If the felt is not correctly secured the wind force will be focused on the weak spot causing more problems.

All ridge and hip tiles need to be mechanically fixed in areas prone to high winds. Roofing mortar alone should not be relied upon to hold these tiles secure. Once the bond between tile and mortar is broken the tile can work loose. They should be nailed, clipped or wired.

The areas most lightly to be submitted to wind uplift are the eaves, verges and ridges. In these areas it is prudent to take extra precautions with your tile fixing. Nail and clip all tiles around the periphery.

A little extra time taken at the installation stage will ensure the roofing tiles stay secure in heavy weather. The extra cost is outweighed by the savings in maintenance and piece of mind.

Technical Writing Exercise – Writing an Executive Summary

The client says, “Tell me what this 30-page report says, and do it in less than a page.” Your job: write an executive summary. The exercise is to look at the executive summary below and bring it into line with the description – and to cut it down to between 150 and 200 words at the same time.

The test was a whopping success. It showed that the basic premise is sound and demonstrated that the prototype design will fly. The guys in the lab think the results call for a significant speed-up in refining the radios. They also recommend that we:

To succeed in business or life, I came to realize that we must continually take remedial actions. Putting myself on the line day after day can be extremely draining, especially when things do not work out as I desired. Hence, each time I face a disappointing event or undesirable outcome, I NEVER FORGET these famous failures:

1. Bill Gates, founder and chairman of Microsoft, has literally changed the work culture of the world in the 21st century, by simplifying the way computer is being used. He happens to be the world’s richest man for the last one decade. However, in the 70’s before starting out, he was a Harvard University dropout. The most ironic part is that, he started a software company (that was soon to become Microsoft) by purchasing the software technology from “someone” for only $US50 back then.

2. Abraham Lincoln, received no more than 5 years of formal education throughout his lifetime. When he grew up, he joined politics and had 12 major failures before he was elected the 16th President of the United States of America.

3. Isaac Newton was the greatest English mathematician of his generation. His work on optics and gravitation made him one of the greatest scientists the world has even known. Many thought that Isaac was born a genius, but he wasn’t! When he was young, he did very poorly in grade school, so poor that his teachers became clueless in improving his grades.

4. Ludwig van Beethoven, a German composer of classical music, is widely regarded as one of history’s supreme composers. His reputation has inspired – and in many cases intimidated – composers, musicians, and audiences who were to come after him. Before the start of his career, Beethoven’s music teacher once said of him “as a composer, he is hopeless”. And during his career, he lost his hearing yet he managed to produce great music – a deaf man composing music, ironic isn’t!

5. Thomas Edison who developed many devices which greatly influenced life in the 20th century. Edison is considered one of the most prolific inventors in history, holding 1,093 U.S patents to his name. When he was a boy his teacher told him he was too stupid to learn anything. His combination of mass production, high wages and low prices to consumers has initiated a management school known as “Fordism”. He became one of the three most famous and richest men in the world during his time.

15. Soichiro Honda was turned down by Toyota Motor Corporation during a job interview as “engineer” after World War Two. He continued to be jobless until his neighbors starting buying his “home-made scooters”. Subsequently, he set out on his own to start his own company. Honda. Today, the Company has grown to become the world’s largest motorcycle manufacturer and one of the most profitable automakers – beating giant automaker such as GM and Chrysler. With a global network of 437 subsidiaries, Honda develops, manufactures, and markets a wide variety of products ranging from small general-purpose engines and scooters to specialty sports cars.

How to Test Whirlpool Refrigerator Defrost Thermostat-Bi-Metal

In order to complete this job you will need the following tools:

Needle nose pliers

phillips screwdriver

1/4″ nut driver

Ohm meter/voltage meter

Please Note: The process for changing a defrost heating element applies to all three styles of refrigerators. The three styles are, side by sides, top freezer mounts, and bottom freezer mounts.

The very first thing that you need to do before you begin your installation is to disconnect the power supply to your appliance. Sometimes there can become a build up of frost on the evaporator panel. If this has occurred on your evaporator panel, you will need to defrost it first. The preferred method is with a hairdryer. DO NOT use a heat gun. It will give off too much heat, and could warp and deform your plastic liner. Once you have defrosted it to the point that you can see the screws, you can stop defrosting. Now you should be able to remove the screws along with the evaporator panel.

After the evaporator panel is removed, you will need to defrost the evaporator as well so that you can locate the defrost thermostat.

Note: If you have a top or bottom mount freezer that contains your icemaker, it will need to be removed as well. After you have removed the evaporator panel, you also have to defrost the evaporator. You must do this so that you can locate your defrost heating element. It will be a black cylinder heater, or a glass cylinder that contains a coiled wire inside of it. The glass tube style of defrost heating element is VERY FRAGILE, and if broken is very dangerous.

Note: Do not totally defrost the evaporator coils. You need the defrost bi-metal switch to stay cold. It needs to be cold in order for you to test it. The defrost bi-metal switch contact is closed when it is cold, and open when it is warm. You will find the defrost bi-metal switch fastened to the top right, or left corner of the evaporator coil.

Now that you have located the defrost bi-metal switch, now you need to locate the wire ends or wire harness and unplug them. Set the Ohm/Voltage meter to Ohm. Attach one lead to each of the wire ends, to test the bi-metal switch. If the meter reads zero on a digital Voltage meter, or if the needle moves to the right on standard Voltage meter, then your bi-metal switch is good. (If the bi-metal is still cold) If the meter reads one on a digital voltage meter, or the needle does not move on a standard voltage meter, then the bi-metal switch is bad and it will need to be replaced.

Once you have completed testing the defrost bi-metal switch, put the evaporator panel back on and you also need to reinstall the icemaker(If applicable) You have completed the job!

Trex Transcend Decking – Is it Really Better Than Both Composite and PVC Rivals?

This article is about Trex Transcend Decking. However I have decided to include my experience on a host of other composite type decking so you might use this information as a handy reference in your selection of the best valued product for your next project.

Transcend decking is a member of the newest generation of man made products. I often refer to it as a hybrid since it has combined the best properties of composite decking with the best properties of the new PVC decking products. Let me first touch on the features and drawbacks of these other two products and then I will explain why I believe this new Transcend product is a best value.

First let’s talk about composite decking since it has been around the longest. Composite is just what the name implies, depending on the product it is a combination of wood fiber and recycled plastic. A couple of great examples are the Trex Origins and Brasilia products. Composite products are very durable and they have made great improvements to the finishes and colors as exemplified in these two products. However the most common drawback or complaint I hear from my clients is in regard to the issues of fading and staining. These are common problems inherent to all composite products because of the fact that a large part of the material makeup consists of wood fiber. Wood fiber is porous and thus more likely to absorb stains. Because of its porous nature it is also more likely to give up some of its color over time and appear faded. While neither of these issues affect performance or overall durability of the product they do detract from the appearance, and after all you are spending a lot of money on a beautiful looking deck.

This brings me to the subject of PVC decking. PVC products like Timbertech XLM Plank are considered by many to be the answer to the issues of fading and staining. Because of their material makeup they are sealed on the exterior with a harder less porous PVC shell. As a result Timbertech puts a 25 year limited residential warranty on this product. The downsides to PVC are its price as it tends to be on the upper tier of product cost and in my opinion its appearance, as most products I have dealt with directly still have a rather plastic or unnatural look.

Now that we have touched on the basic differences between composite and PVC let’s take a more in depth look at why I feel Trex Transcend Decking is the best value on the market today. Transcend combines the cost effective technology of composite core with a tough durable stain and fade resistant outer shell of PVC on the top and two sides of each plank. I went to a very informational training session on this product line recently and the presenter started the session by laying three pieces of decking on a sheet of plastic then pouring ketchup, mustard, Italian dressing, and red wine in a large glob on the planks. We proceeded to cover topics on why this product was so different and installation practices related to the product for the next hour. So there you have it, if a new deck is in your future I believe you owe it to yourself to research all your options but pay special attention to the question of how will the products you select hold up to the two biggest deck complaints today, staining and fading.

Main Switch Consumer Units

The simplest form of consumer unit, the Main Switch board is supplied with a 100A mains isolator only. When the 17th Edition Regulations first came into being it seemed to many that the days of the main switch board, which is supplied without RCDs, were numbered.

However, Main Switch fuse boards, when used in conjunction with a full bank of RCBOs are now being considered the single best way to satisfy 17th Edition, as this allows for complete separation of circuits thus preventing nuisance tripping.

The downside to this installation is the cost as using individual RCBOs is considerably more expensive than using RCDs with MCBs. Many homeowners however are willing to pay the extra cost for the peace of mind that RCBOs provide.

High Integrity Boards

A ‘High Integrity Consumer Unit’ is one which allows for superior separation of circuits whilst still protecting all circuits from earth leakage. It does this by using three neutral bars which allows for the use of 2 RCDs and a whole bank of RCBOs.

The user may therefore protect all ‘non-mission critical circuits like lighting and ring main on the RCDs whilst protecting all mission critical circuits independently with RCBOs. In this situation a problem with the fridge freezer will not affect the smoke alarms or, for example, the alarm system will not cut power to the tropical fish tank. High Integrity boards provide very good compliance to the 17th Edition Wiring Regulations.

Split Load Consumer Units

A split load board, in common parlance, is one which is supplied with a Main Switch and RCD. Now that we operate under 17th Edition regulations the implied loading of a split load unit is that MCBs should only be put on the RCD side while RCBOs are fitted on the main switch side.

A split load board, used in this way satisifies the 17th Edition Regulations particularly well and cost effectively as it protects all circuits against earth leakage whilst decreasing the risk of nuisance tripping on mission critical circuits through good circuit separation.

Garage Consumer Units

The term ‘Garage consumer unit’ is applied to smaller consumer units and there isn’t anything else particularly special about these consumer units. Most normal domestic environments have only a small number circuits in its garages, garden sheds and outhouses and therefore does not require the larger 10 – 36 way fuse boards used in the main household.

Garage units are normally between 2 and 5 ways depending on what is being used in the outhouse. A normal shed with lighting and a couple of sockets would use a 2 way unit whilst a workshop using a lathe and power tools might opt for a 5 way unit.

Fully Loaded Consumer Units

These consumer units typically come with 2 RCDs and a full bank of MCBs and usually have between 10 and 15 usable ways. Whilst very cost effective and fully 17th Edition compliant they do not provide very good separation of circuits.

Arc Welding

Arc welding is probably the most easily and readily available welding process on the face of the earth.

Just about anyone can get access to an one of these machines. Also called stick welding, and the technical name for this welding process is manual metal arc welding or MMAW for short.

Most arc welding and stick welding machines are DC, which is direct current. The electricity comes in from the power lead that is plugged into the wall socket at say 240v AC, and the transformer does its bit and steps the voltage down and rectifies the circuit so that it is now a DC source, ideal for welding.

You know that you can grab two 12 volt car batteries and hook them together to make 24 volts, and like this you can weld with them. Yeah true. Car batteries have very large current drawing capabilities, which is exactly what you need for welding. And see how the two batteries will equal 24volts, this is good enough to arc weld with.

Many people who go four wheel driving and long distance bush driving in Australia will usually have two batteries in their four wheel drives (SUV). So all you have to do is throw in a pack of general purpose electrodes either E6013 or E6012 of a small diameter (try 2.0mm) and you can arc weld out in the middle of the dessert if you needed to.

Any smart traveler will have a set of jumper leads in the back of the vehicle. So all you have to do is join the two batteries together using some existing wiring from the vehicle. This is done by joining the positive terminal of one battery to the negative terminal of the other battery.

Then simply clamp the jumper leads to the now larger 24volt battery, and you have a quick and simple arc welding machine that you can use to make roadside repairs in the middle of nowhere.

Cover Letter – Six Essential Components With Examples

Every effective cover letter for resume should have the following components

Heading and salutation

The cover letter for resume and resume proper should have a matching look as though coming from the same family. Include your contact information such as Name, Address, Phone number etc. in exactly the same way as you did in the resume.

This should be followed by the recipient’s name, title, company name, division and company address. Your salutation should set a professional tone for the letter. Do not use ‘To whomsoever it may concern’, ‘Good morning’ etc. Start with ‘Dear Mr./Ms./Dr. (Recipient’s last name). Salutations such as Dear Sir or Dear Madam should be used only as a last resort if you are simply unable to find the person’s name.

Opening paragraph

The objective of the opening paragraph in a cover letter for resume is to tell your reader the reason for writing this letter. For example, you may be responding to an ad or based on a lead from an acquaintance. ‘I am writing today in response to your ad in ‘The Job Chronicler’ dated May 10,2008. My attached resume will show you that I have the skills and experience to fill this position.’

Main message paragraph

The next paragraph or two should convey the main message. The objective is to differentiate you from the competition and show that you are the best candidate for the position. You do this by addressing the employer’s needs giving examples to show how you fill those needs.

‘As you will note from my enclosed resume, I have more than three years experience in the field. I began as a secretary and worked my way up to an administrative position at Major Machines. I type 80 words per minute and am proficient in MS Word and Pagemaker.’

Supporting paragraph

The next paragraph in the cover letter for resume should explain why you are interested in working for the particular company. It demonstrates that you have knowledge about the company and the industry.

‘Major Machines is a dynamic and growing organization, and I would love to be part of your team.’

Request for Action

This paragraph is very important and it should contain a request for the reader to take action and invite you for an interview. You can simply request that the employer email or call you for an interview.

‘I look forward to meeting you personally and request you to mail or call me to arrange a meeting at your convenience.’

Closing paragraph

This paragraph thanks the reader for reading your letter and resume. You must also let them know that you wish to move forward in the application process. In some cases, you can include your request for action within the closing paragraph.

‘I welcome the opportunity to prove that I can make an effective contribution to Major Machines. Thank you for your consideration, and I look forward to hearing from you.’

Digger Derrick History Explained!

Many companies benefit from the use of a digger derrick in everyday business operations. It can perform various tasks for a variety of industries such as mining, electric and telephone among others. Its major structural feature is a giant hydraulic auger mounted on the truck chassis. With so many technological advances, the history of this specialized vehicle tends to be forgotten, how it was created and came to be.

Following is some information regarding the original method of excavating holes, historical background of the digger derrick and its current transformation to fit various industry applications.

Original Process

The labor intensive task of setting up electric and telephone line poles is with a conventional manual digging process. Workers use a traditional shovel and post hole digger with a long handle and a set of metal spade-shaped blades. The digging process is initially simple, with difficulty arising as the hole gets deeper. Open blades are strongly pushed into the soil, then closed and pulled upward with outward force to excavate and create the desired hole. It is hard work for the back and only few holes can be dug at a time.

Another traditional digging method is with hand and power augers, a slight progression from shovel use. The hand auger was around long before telephone and utility poles. It is made from a wide “T” steel bar with helical flighting to produce accurate results; it is used in ground level deck construction. Power augers have powerful torque to speed up soil excavation process and only requires one or two workers to control the machine.


With rapid technological advancement, it was necessary to find a faster, more efficient way to set telephone and electric poles. The industry needed a powerful machine to easily and rapidly excavate post holes to get necessary services to anxious consumers. Terex Utilities took on this mighty job and in 1945 invented the first mechanical digger derrick, which was named “Telelect.” It was mainly utilized in the telephone and electric line industries and its operation required two workers.

Ongoing Development

Since then, there has been ongoing development with different models and configurations.
