7 Tips For a Basic Tool Chest

If you’re thinking about buying a home or are a new home owner, there are some basic tools you need to have around. There are lots of tools out there, but you need just a few basics tools to get started. I started out with a hammer, rubber mallet, hand saw, drill, pliers,   socket  set, an adjustable wrench, and two types of screwdrivers, buckets and for paints and paintbrushes. You’ll need them to drive a nail, hang a picture, put together bed frames, and tighten and loosen screws and nuts. Let me suggest to you what kinds of tools I think you are going to need to start out with.

1. Hammer

There are few different types of mallets and hammers available. Your basic claw hammer is the best for driving nails and getting them out. It would also be good to get a rubber mallet for closing paint buckets and such, because using a hammer tends to deform the metal lids.

2. Saw

I started out with a simple carpenters hand saw. You’ll run into small projects and need something to cut wood with. I think a power saw is over kill if you only have to use a saw periodically on small items.

3. Pliers

Pliers are jaws to squeeze things shut or to get a firm grip on to pull out. An adjustable plier is good to have around. I like the ones with a rubberized handle and jaws you can vary the widths with.

4. Drill

A basic 18 volt drill with some bits is a good purchase. Any time you want to screw something in it goes easier if you drill a hole first. You can also get accessory screw bits and have a drill do the screwing in for you.

There are numbers of type of fasteners, but many types you will seldom or never encounter. In your home your fasteners are going to be hex nuts and bolts, Phillips screws, and flat headed screws.

5. Screwdrivers

Both Phillips and flat head screw drivers come in all sorts of sizes but two very useful sizes, small (# 1) and medium (#2) are what you will mainly need around the house.

6.  Socket  Sets

You’ll also want a 6 point  socket  set in your tool box. Every nut you have in your house is a hexagon of varying sizes. Any time you assemble or disassemble

7. Adjustable Wrenches

An adjustable wrench is open on one side and has two jaws that come with a screw to adjust the width. The jaws come together on two sides of the hex nut, and can be used in places where the bolt or screw is deeper than a  socket  in the  socket  set. I’d start with one medium and one large adjustable wrench.

You’ll only need these few types of tools to do almost everything you’ll run into when going into a new home. Don’t over buy. You’ll be able to put these tools to good use, and you shouldn’t need more tools unless you start doing engine repair, or are building something for your house. anything in the home environment you will run into the six sided nut. The best basic  socket  set is a 40 piece hex or 6 point set. They have standard inch and metric millimeter size  sockets  and a ratchet handle.

Opening a Restaurant?

Are you planning to open a restaurant? That’s a great idea, but only if you have completed all your homework perfectly. This business is one of the most competitive businesses. Opening a restaurant is not as easy as it seem to be. It’s a real business, just like any real business, it takes lot of time, capital, and a lot of effort to get rewards. You have to think deeply, do a survey of following things:

1. The food and dining trends of people

2. Chances to having a restaurant in your planned area

3. Minimum required capital, and your maximum budget

4. Inputs required

After doing all the above said survey, plan accordingly, discuss with people in this business, if possible consult some professionals in Restaurant Consultancy for more ideas and suggestions. There are several Restaurant Consultants in market having expertize in opening and managing restaurants.

Remember that your customers are your bread and butter. So, your main focus should be over the needs of customers, their power of expenditure, dining and drinking habits, and most important their satisfaction with the services you are going to offer.

Business Plan

The business plan is essential to any new venture. Your result depends upon your business plan. It’ll be the building block of your success in your venture. The business plan should be based and focussed over the earlier said surveys. It is an exercise in focusing your ideas for the business and taking a comprehensive view of all the factors involved in its success.

There are three major sections of a business plan:

1. A narrative document describing the various aspects of the venture and supporting documents

2. A set of financial statements that demonstrate the profitability of the project

3. A set of supporting documents such as proposed menus, speciality cuisines, employees, leases, floor plans, entertainment facilities, and the basic licences required.

Food and Dining Trends

Food and Dining habits of people vary depending upon the area, religion, climate, and availability of stuff. This is the core concept behind any restaurant. Your cuisines, drinks, and deserts will decide your success. Recent food and lifestyle trends show that people want quick service – but not necessarily based on “fast food” formulas.

Marketing and Advertisement

You are going to open a restaurant, but how people will know about it. How they’ll notice a new entry in already flooded market. You have to make people aware about your entry in this segment through proper marketing and advertisement. Restaurant marketing is crucial to both start-up success and the building and maintaining of critical sales levels. There are many things you can do in house. Direct and community marketing is also a good idea. Decide about your ways best suited in that particular area.

Training of Employees

It’s very important to have well trained employees in your restaurant. You need to have experienced chefs, smart, friendly and well mannered serving staff, and managers. It may add few thousand bucks in your starting capital, but you will notice the impact in your sales, and in smiles and satisfaction level of your customers.

The Key facts you should keep in mind are:

1. High-quality quick-service experience

2. Premium, hygienic, and tasty food

3. Energetic and attentive employees

4. Comfortable and pleasant ambience

5. If possible “watch-it-cooking” atmosphere

If you will keep all the above said things in your mind, it’ll be a pleasant experience owning and running a successful, popular, and high earning restaurant.

Las Grietas Swimming Hole in Galapagos

Many people often wonder: What kinds of things can I do in the Galapagos Islands without a Naturalist Guide? The answer is: lots! There are boundless opportunities for a variety of things to do and trips to keep you busy that allow you to soak up the Galapagos Wildlife and endless beauty.

This second part of a 6 chapter series is about “Las Grietas”, on Santa Cruz Island. Directly translated, “grieta” means crevasse or crack. Las Grietas is a place to swim in cool ocean water between two tall cliffs, where the earth has opened like a “crack” or “crevasse”.

To get to this amazing place from Puerto Ayora, visitors need to cross to the “otro lado” (the “other side”) in a speed boat taxi (60 cents) from the main dock in front of the park and volley ball courts. From here, follow the signs to the Finch Bay hotel. With the ocean on your left and the Finch Bay Hotel on your right, continue along a rocky wall to the very end where you will find a path leading off to the right hand side. From here, you follow a 15 minute trail that starts off sandy and rocky, and winds up criss-crossing over a jagged lava field, through a cactus forest, and up a sandy path once again to the top of Las Grietas. It´s definitely recommended to wear closed toes shoes or runners, as the lava is hot and pointy.

Upon arriving to the Grietas, you´ll find some wooden narrow steps that lead down to a jumble of large boulders. From here, you can climb carefully into the water. A pair of water proof shoes would be good for swimming here, as the rocks underwater are slippery with algae and the entrance and exit to the water can be tricky.

Local people may often be seen jumping from various levels of the cliff, but this isn´t recommended, as the area where you need to land your jump is quite specific. Use caution and always check how and where others are jumping from before you take a flying leap!

Although there is not much to see underwater at las Grietas, as it just has small openings for water to filter through, the view is spectacular: like swimming in a secret cove, in a Jurassic Park scene, or Never Never land! If you swim to the very end of the first pool, and climb over the rocky division, you come to a second similar swimming channel. At the end of this cove there is another rocky divider. On the right hand side, about a meter from the bottom of the ocean floor, there is a small swim-through: a tunnel about a meter long. With one long breath you can make it through quite easily to the other side, and it makes for some adventurous photos!

Be sure to leave Las Grietas well before sunset, as the trail is not lit and the path is even less well-defined at night!

Benefits of LED Technology and the TIR Lens Manufacturing Process

Benefits of LED technology

LED or Light Emitting Diodes have potentially replaced the traditional lighting source for its cost and size advantages. It was initially used as indicator lamps in a number of electronic devices. However, continuous development in LED technology had led to embrace this technology in all types of general lighting.

LEDs are extremely energy-efficient and can consume up to 90% less power than conventional fluorescent bulbs. As such they help to massively cut power costs. Because of low power usage, LEDs are becoming popular light sources in remote areas that use solar panels. LEDs also have long life of up to 60,000 hours compared to 1,500 hours for luminous bulbs. Moreover, they are durable and can withstand shock, vibration and extreme temperature. You can also improve safety by using LED since they produce 3.4 btu’s per hour compared to 85 for incandescent bulbs.

People are using LEDs in a variety of applications, including residential lighting, aerospace, architectural lighting, automotive, aviation, broadcasting, electronic instrumentation, entertainment and gaming, and more.

Especially in the micro-projection system, use of LED optics will increase over the years. It is because lighting uniformity and efficiency on spatial light modulators or SLM are two most important factors to gauge performance of micro-projection system. People often use tapered light pipe (TLP) and square compound parabolic concentrator (SCPC) as a beam shaper in LED-based micro projection system. By this, you will get SLM with uniform and efficient illumination.

However, TLP or SCPC has some disadvantages the primary one been insufficient compactness induced by the working length of TLP or SCPC for the illumination system. To overcome this problem, one can use TIR or Total Internal Reflection lenses.

Definition of TIR lens

TIR or Total Internal Reflection lenses are cone-like lenses that usually have rotationally symmetrical designs to distribute light in a rounded pattern. You can use TIR lens to collimated light or to generate a preferred uniform illumination.

TIR lens manufacturing process

During TIR lens manufacturing, often the designers do not pay attention to color uniformity, which also limits their application. You can however address this problem through effective color mixing, and use a phosphor-converted white LED module integrated with a compact modified free form to get compact size and high angular color uniformity (ACU).

Manufacturers design total internal reflection lens with an optimization method to combine and transfer most of the light emitted from LED optics into a rectangular target plane or RTP representing SLM. Typically, TIR lens has six surfaces controlled by seventeen dimensional parameters. Design takes place optimizing dimensional parameters with general algorithms. In order to keep RTP in immovable position with pleasing illumination uniformity and efficiency, designers consider illumination uniformity and efficiency on RTP during the optimization process.

In the Tracepro program, the simulation result of LED illumination system with the optimized TIR lens shows that the illumination efficiency and uniformity has achieved 61.9%, 76% with considering the limitation angle of light (15 degrees).

You can manufacture these lenses for multiple LED applications. Manufacturing of different sizes of TIR lenses depends on its optical performance, so one cannot specify FWHM angles, etc.

Home Lighting Enhancements

If you are born as early as few decades ago, you might have the idea of how home decorations going on during those early years. And if you are to compare it of today’s home decorations, you will might find changes especially when it comes to home lighting.

If you will to picture out the home lighting scheme before, there are many changes you can see. There are added lighting fixtures to some of the traditional lighting like chandeliers. You can see pendant lighting, recessed lights, spotlights and track lighting that are installed in different areas of the house. Most important change is the added technology that has been used for these lighting improvements.

A great change happened in the lighting scheme. If before most homeowners only installed a single light bulb to provide illumination to the room, now, there are many forms of light fixtures used in just one room. You can find chandelier on the center part of the ceiling in the living room or dining room along with the recessed lights on the corners of the ceiling.

Nowadays, home lighting is used not just to provide illumination but also to function as decorative feature since lighting is now used to highlight precious object in the house such as a statue or an artwork in the wall. It creates a perfect appearance on the interior and thus gives a house an impressive look. These changes have a great effect on home improvements. A new and modern look on the house is achieved through the innovative ideas created on home lighting fixtures. A house will have an inviting ambiance and thus makes living inside it comfortable.

And so if you are still living in a house with a bathroom lighting scheme of the past, you might need to improve it and go along with the home lighting improvements and find your house attractive and cozy. How about that?

B2 Fire Rated?

Its not worth the candle!

A B2 Fire Rating on a product does not mean that product can be used for fire stopping or fire proofing.

When we do a fire risk assessment we often make comment on fire stopping. On one recent job we commented that additional fire stopping was needed. The client employed a contractor who used Soudafoam. On the tin its says the product is ‘B2 Fire Rated in accordance with DIN 4102’.

Our client then asked us to up date our fire risk assessment as these works had been done..

Before signing this off we did some further research to establish what a ‘B2 Fire Rating in accordance with DIN 4102’ meant. Din 4102 is the European Classification of building materials in accordance with their flammability. The Classes range from A1 100% non combustible to B3 Easily combustible. This is what we found:

Rating Degree of flammability Examples

A1 100% noncombustible (nichtbrennbar)

A2 ~98% noncombustible (nichtbrennbar)

B1 Difficult to ignite (schwer entflammbar) intumescents and some high end silicones

B2 Normal combustibility wood

B3 Easily ignited (leichtentflammbar)

As you can see from this a B2 rating is not acceptable as a fire stopping material and either a B1, A2 or A1 classification is needed. The contractors’ supplier had thought that classification B2 indicated a 2 hour fire rating and had sold the material to many other contractors who had been looking for a fire stopping material.

Looking for further information on Soudafoam on the http://www.soudalusa.com website we found a list of the suggested uses; heat insulation, sound insulation and several other uses are recommended there are no comments on fire insulation.

The statement B2 Fire Rated is obviously correct but looking on the web for Soudafoam and coming across an advertisement like this

Soudafoam 1Kb2 Fire Rated Aerosol Foam

I think most people would assume that the product does have good fire proofing values.

To make the matter more annoying foam with the right A1/A2/B1 classification is no more expensive that the Soudafoam Product.

To sell something as ‘B2’ Fire Rated whilst factually correct is very misleading. â¨â¨I posted this comment as a discussion within the ‘Fire Risk Assessors and Consultants Group UK’ on LinkedIn. I got a very interesting reply from Gordon Alexander of Gordon Alexander Associates which I copy in full:â¨

Be very aware of the use of PU foams. They must be tested to BS 476: Parts 20/22, BS EN 1366-4 in the case of linear gaps and BS EN 1366-3 for service penetration seals. There is a very big difference between Reaction to Fire PU Foams such as B1 B2 etc and Fire Resistence to Fire PU Foams. Have a look at the ASFP Advisory Notice on Using Polyurethane Foams and ensure that they are applied as they were tested. I have had many an issue with this – in particular Fire Door Installations. Using penetration foam for sealing doors is not a compliant installation… and vice versa of course. When used on door installations the backing should, in many cases, be mineral wool topped off with at least 10mm of intumescent sealant and all as per manufacturers instructions and installed as per test data. You cannot just ‘bang in’ a load of foam – in particular B2.

I hope these comments are useful and help make sure the right materials are used in the right circumstances.

A Simple Way To Build Wainscoting Panels

Few details can enhance a foyer, dining room or office more than adding wainscoting, but you don’t know where to start. While there are more complicated ways to build wainscoting panels, we will discuss the simple way to get professional results without the need of an elaborate workshop. Let’s discuss the types of panels you could build. Starting with the most difficult to the simplest, you could build raised panels, flat panels, beadboard panels, or picture frame panels. Though the raised panels could be cut with a table saw, it is not the preferred piece of equipment and requires gluing and clamping several boards together, which always has the concern for warping using large panels. Picture framing is simply the assembly of 4 pieces of molding of equal lengths and heights across a given wall or set of walls. This method is applied between the chair rail and base board with equal spacing on all sides of each frame. The methods we will be discussing in detail are the flat panels and beadboard styles.

  1. As with any home improvement project, we should discuss the tools needed to complete the project. You will need a table saw, miter saw, finish nail gun, belt sander, orbital sander, and safety glasses.
  2. Take off any outlet covers, quarter round, and existing baseboards. Be careful to save the existing baseboards and quarter round.
  3. The layout plan is crucial to a smooth job. First, you need to determine if any electrical outlets could possibly interfere with the layout. A little pre-planning will help you avoid an outlet falling half-way in or out of a panel.
  4. The anatomy of a wainscoting panel consist of; a backband, top and bottom rail, vertical styles, style and rail molding, panels, baseboards, and cap. (before installing each piece, add glue to each joint and the back each piece)
  5. The backband should be the first element installed and it is used to provide a thicker edge around the doors and windows for the wainscoting panels to join into. This can be purchased at place which specializes in millwork or moldings. It is a piece of trim approximately 3/4″ x 1 1/2″ with one edge shaped. It installs on the edge against the wall, around the perimeter of any door or window casings.
  6. The overall height of wainscoting is generally around 36″ from the floor, depending on your preference, this could differ 6″ either way. A “mission” style wainscoting is around 54″. Either way, establish your height and level a line across the wall/s you intend to apply wainscoting.
  7. You need to determine the rough width you would like each panel to be either for a given wall or room. Either, you can make all the panels the same width for a given wall or you can make all panels the same width for a given room. If you choose the latter, you will usually end up one panel next to a corner or doorway smaller than the others. I suggest you treat each wall separately and make the panels the same size for a given wall, but within a few inches of the panels on the adjacent walls. While it is nice to have all panels in a given room the same size, the most crucial element to a professional job is the same margin between all sides of each panel, corner, moldings or doorway.
  8. Your margins are determined by the widths of the vertical styles and the top and bottom rails. For the top rail and vertical styles, I recommend using 3/4″ x 3 1/2″ lumber. The width of the bottom rail depends on the width of the base board trim. If using a 3 1/4″ baseboard, I will use a 3/4″ x 6 3/4″ bottom rail, so it will give me a 3 1/2″ margin after the baseboard is installed.
  9. Cut and install the top and bottom rails an equal distance apart. Install the top rail 3/4″ below the horizontal level line you established as top of the wainscoting. When installing the bottom rail, make sure it is installed at equal distances apart from the top rail. Any gaps between the bottom rail and the floor will be covered by the baseboard and quarter round.
  10. Next take an overall measurement of each wall to a corner or doorway. Subtract the number of vertical styles between each panel, as well as the styles used at each corner or doorway, from the overall measurement. I have found a 36″ panel width is a good place to start, so take the overall width and divide by 36″. If you end up with 3.68″, for example, which means you can either use 3 or 4 panels. Then divide the overall measurement by 3 or 4. This calculation will give the width of each panel.
  11. Install the vertical styles in each corner and next to each doorway. Then lay out the panels, remembering to allow for the width of the vertical styles used between each panel. I suggest you layout the entire room before installing the first individual panel or style used between each panel, in order to see if you have any interference or spacing issues. If all is well, install the remaining vertical styles. Now you have the frame for the wainscoting, the rest is easy.
  12. Measure, cut and install the plywood or beadboard for each opening. (Glue the back of each panel or vertical style which does not have a stud to nail to.)
  13. Then use a molding, like a “base cap”, to install around the inside perimeter of each opening, while mitering the corners.
  14. Cut and install the baseboard and wainscoting cap. The cap is similar in size and shape to the backbanding and is nailed to the top of the wainscoting as a ledge. You can also install some cove molding under the cap to give some stability.
  15. Sand the surface areas, where the rail and styles join, flush and smooth. Fill and caulk, as needed, and then paint.

Once you have completed this project, you will be able to sit back and enjoy a; “Job well done”. Just remember to be careful, methodical and determined. The true secret to any woodworking project is the planning and layout, being able to foresee potential problems before installing the first piece.

Best Way to Clean Laminate Flooring

Laminate flooring was first invented by a Swedish company called Pergo AB in the year 1977. Pergo AB is part of a larger company named Perstop AB which is responsible for the invention of laminate tabletops. Even though the laminate flooring was invented in 1977, it didn’t become available in the United States until the year 1994. In just a little less than a decade and a half since it’s entrance to the United States, laminate flooring has become one of the most popular forms of flooring in the country, and as one of the most popular forms of flooring many people are concerned with how easy cleaning laminate flooring is. This is an article about the best way to clean laminate flooring.

The best part about laminate floors is that the best way to clean laminate flooring does not have to be very hard at all. In fact, cleaning laminate flooring is down right easy as the floors are resistant to most moisture, scratches and stains. Typically all you need for cleaning laminate flooring is a damp towel, a dry mop and a vacuum cleaner.

The best way to clean laminate flooring is to use a basic ammonia based or vinegar solution of cleaning liquid. You can simply put a fourth of a cup of vinegar into a thirty or thirty two ounce spray bottle and then fill the rest of the bottle with water and you have a perfect solution for cleaning laminate flooring. Then simply spray the solution on the floor and wipe it up. You can move across the floor quickly with this method and before you know it, your floor will be perfectly clean!

If you want to use a wet mop, make sure you do not leave any standing liquid or you might saturate and damage the floor.

Windex is another fantastic cleaner for cleaning laminate flooring. Other cleaning solutions that can be used as the best way to clean laminate flooring include the swiffer wetjet wood floor cleaner or either of the following solutions:

1. Equal parts of water, rubbing alcohol and vinegar

2. one third of a cup of white vinegar, one third of a cup of rubbing alcohol, one third of a cup of water and three drops of dishwashing liquid (this should give you one quart of cleaning solution).

If you want to do some spot cleaning, for tough spots you can use either a nail polish remover that contains acetone or alcohol. Warm water can be used for stains and for things like gum or wax you should first use ice to harden them and then scrape them away very gently.

Cleaning laminate flooring is not hard at all. In fact the best way to clean laminate flooring is the same way you would clean your counter or table top. You will not need any abrasive materials or strong chemicals. Usually just water and a clean cloth will do the trick. Its easy to clean nature is partly what makes laminate flooring so popular.

Advantages and Disadvantages of a Heat Pump

People in the US are very aware of the need for heat and cool air and in the colder and hotter states it is a very important issue for everyone. There are so many different heating systems available on the market today that people often are not sure what type is the best for them.

When it comes to buying a heat pump for the home, it is best is to have a working knowledge of the advantages and disadvantages of using one. Heat pumps are very effective for functioning as both a furnace and an air conditioner.

What you get is two appliances in one, with air conditioning in summer and heating in winter. In summer heat pumps will take the hot air from your home, and when it gets cold the whole process simply reverses. They have become the most common way to get cool air in summer and heating in winter in the USA for those states where the climate is temperate.

For heating the home, heat pumps are definitely one of the most efficient systems available. Heating your home this way means lower power bills as you are saving energy. Heating through furnaces brings a ‘dry air feel’ to the home, so people use humidifiers to correct this.

With electric heat pumps you do not need a humidifier. They also run far quieter than other heating systems because the compressor is placed outside of the home or building. Some people find the cost both an advantage and disadvantage with a heat pump. It depends how you look at it, as the huge savings on energy and bills counter-balance the price.

Geothermal heat pumps are high priced, but also bring the biggest savings. The fuel and electricity efficiency is the biggest advantage. The heating is not produced through fossil fuels or electricity, thus making this system eco-friendly as well as cost saving. These systems are most suited to temperate climates as below freezing temperatures can bring disadvantages.

For a large percentage of people the initial cash outlay is a great disadvantage as it is expensive when you have to purchase and install heat pumps for the first time. Over time though, the cost-savings it brings will even out the initial expense. In intemperate regions of the USA where winter temperatures go below freezing point regularly, this form of heating can bring another initial cash outlay that makes it very expensive. You will have to look into getting a second unit as a back-up to be able to bring heating to the entire home or building.

A heat pump has many advantages and a few disadvantages that people have to both consider and weigh up when looking into this form of heating. You should do a cost-projection to see how the initial cash outlay balances out over a time period, and to understand that disadvantages can be turned into advantages and whether this form of heating is the right one for you.

Green Lean Six Sigma

Global warming seems to be in everyone’s awareness. Business magazines write about “green” businesses. Movie stars drive hybrid cars to look “green”.

But nobody seems to have noticed that Lean Six Sigma could have a massive impact on the planet.

Eliminate Waste

If, as Juran suggests, most businesses spend 25-40% of their budget on waste and rework, isn’t it reasonable to assume that eliminating that waste would reduce various planetary problems?

Think about your office. How much paper do you trash or recycle from printers and copiers because of rework and waste? How much printer ink, toner cartridges, and other consumables are wasted? How many trees, plants and animals could we save by reducing this pollution?

In a hospital, how many supplies and patients could you save without the mistakes and errors? Imagine being able to save lives and reduce waste and be kind to the environment at that same time.

In a factory, how much scrap could you prevent and rework could you save? Imagine all the frustration and time you could save too.

In a printing shop, how much paper, ink and toner could you save if you got every job right the first time? Imagine all the trees you could save.

In your business, how much waste could you save if you got everything right the first time? Imagine how you could double your profits while eliminating waste.

Invisible Low Hanging Fruit

Unfortunately, it’s impossible to reduce the 25-40% waste without Lean Six Sigma or some systematic improvement methodology. Every business gets stuck at about 3-Sigma (66,800 PPM). However, with the application of essential Lean Six Sigma tools like 5-S, value stream analysis, line chart, pareto chart, fishbones and SPC any business can rapidly move to 5-Sigma (233 PPM) and start saving big bucks (dollars and deer).

There’s a lot of low hanging fruit (i.e., waste) in every business, but it’s invisible to the naked eye without the tools of Lean Six Sigma. Start today. Use the tools to reduce delay, defects and variation which will benefit Mother Earth as well.

Here’s My Point

Reduction in waste will reduce consumption which will reduce the energy required to produce the stuff in the first place. Less energy use means less warming. Less waste means a greener planet.

Lean Six Sigma is not just about the bottom line, worker satisfaction, or customer satisfaction; it’s also about the future of the planet and its inhabitants. Haven’t you waited long enough to go Green Lean Six Sigma?

The G Spot – Techniques and Positions To Hit It Every Time!

There is nothing you can do more for you lady than to be a considerate and proficient lover.

In today’s world however, getting the girl to love you is one thing, but getting her to enjoy your lovemaking and finish to orgasm on a regular basis will make you a hero.

So, what is the G-spot? Where is it?

The G-spot is an area inside the vagina which is packed with nerve endings and engorges with blood when the woman is sexually excited. The G-spot is on the top wall of the vagina, about 5 to 7 cm from the vaginal opening. It is a slightly bumpy or ridged area on the upper wall of the vagina.

Your partner will be glad to tell you when you are directly on the spot.

Why is It Important to the Sexual – lovemaking act?

About 50% of all women get very aroused and feel sublime pleasure when the man is able to stimulate it. The area around the spot engorges with blood (as does a penis and clitoris) and aids in a complete orgasm.

How do I Find it? Once Found, Then What?

The best way to find it (at first) is to engage in cunnilingus and while the woman is excited, insert your fist two fingers pointing upward, as if they were the hands of a clock at about 12:15, some 5 to 7 cm from the vaginal opening.

Make a “come here” motion with the two fingers, while making sure your tongue is very busy the clitoris. The G-spot itself then makes itself very prominent, and regardless if you lady orgasms or not (and should you keep this up for about 20 minutes, she will), move to the position below.

What is the Position to Guarantee Stimulation of the G-spot?

Much has been said and written about this subject, with suggestions of the girl-on-top and doggy-style as good for G-spot stimulation.

While these positions may work, their effectiveness is questionable.

Both of these positions do not utilize the natural anatomy of the woman or the physics of an erection.

An erect penis will (usually should) tilt upwards. This tilt in the other two positions suggested with naturally tilt away, not towards the G-spot. Only the couple’s moving and adjusting may bring the penis into contact with the G-spot.

However, there is a guaranteed position that works every time, and is easy and enjoyable for both the man and woman. This is called (from the Ancient Chinese) Breaking Down the Palace Gates.

The woman must be at the correct angle. It can be done in bed with pillows, or easily done with woman lying down on a table with her legs brought slightly to her breast. Her back should be supported at about a 15% angle by pillows.

The man stands in front of her, and enters slowly. He will see that the angle is perfect and will feel the crown of his penis soon rubbing against the soft ridges of her G-spot area.

Deep thrusting is not required, in fact shallow trusting or just pressing of his penis against the spot will be ecstasy to his partner. Most women will cry with pleasure as this is done, and she will melt underneath you.

Then, you can begin alternating between shallow and deep thrusting, till you slowly bring her to orgasm. The man must practice self-control, as he will be ready to finish before the woman is.

The lack of thrusting in this position will help the man delay his orgasm.

This position hits the G-spot every time, and if you are a conscientious lover, you will achieve for your partner orgasms she and you will remember.

How to Think of Article Topics

There are so many things that you need to take into consideration when doing article marketing. But one of the most important is the selection of topics. This is crucial because the success of each of your articles will depend on the attractiveness and usefulness of the subjects that you choose to discuss. If your readers were not impressed with your topic or if they’re not convinced that they’re going to benefit from it, you can be assured that they’ll ignore your articles all together. This is something that you need to avoid at all cost. Here’s how you can make that happen:

1. Know the needs and demands of your target audience. There’s no better way to do this than knowing what your target audience are looking for each time they open Google. So, start the process by launching Google’s keyword suggestion tool and searching for your niche. Right after you hit that enter button, you’ll get the list of popular keywords that were searched for by your prospects for the last couple of weeks. These will surely give you an idea on what information they’re looking for. Based on my experience, the following are the all-time favorite topics of online users:

* The problems that they’re going through

* Their most frequent questions

* Their areas of interest/hobbies

These people are looking for articles that contain solutions, answers, how-to guides, and expert advice. Give them what they want and they’ll surely return the favor by reading your articles and later on, visiting your website.

2. Ensure that your topics are related to what you sell. Sure, you can write anything under the sun but if you want to attract only those people who are most likely to buy from you, you should focus on those topics that are related to your products and services. You don’t want to write a do-it-yourself guide on how to set up a sunshade if you’re selling sneakers, right? Sticking with topics related to your niche is pretty important as these will help you showcase your in-depth knowledge which is a pre-requisite to earning your readers’ trust.

3. Check out relevant RSS feeds to know the latest issues related to your niche. Always start your day by checking out authority sites to know the latest issues in your niche. For example, a couple of months back, Google announced the Panda update and it was a huge thing for those people who are doing article marketing. People who were first to write about this topic got all the attention. You would want the same thing to happen to you as this will definitely result to more attention and more traffic.

4. Write tips list and how-to guides. If the time comes that you’re running out of ideas to write (I’m sure that will happen more than once), stick with how-to or tips list type of articles. Online users love these because they empower them to do things on their own. The good news is that these are easy to write and they can give you amazing results.

How To: Basic Freebord Tricks

Freebording is a great sport and as more and more riders freebord learn how to carve up the world, new tricks are coming out of the woodwork. Some are variations on old tricks in skateboarding, some come from the snowy slopes, and some can only be done on a freebord. The following is a list of the 10 best basic tricks with instructions for how to pull them off.

Basic Freebord Tricks

Frontside 180 – Rolling ahead at a decent speed, ease backward taking some of your weight off the edge wheels and push forward with your trailing leg. Follow through until you’ve completed the revert. Now your previous leading leg should be trailing and the trailing leg should be leading.

Frontside/Backside Overslide – The frontside and backside overslides are similar to the 180s but instead of following through with the motion until you’ve rotated a full 180 degrees, ease off halfway through the trick and maintain a freebord position horizontal to you path of travel. Basically, you’re using the caster wheels as the main support for your body weight but keeping the rear or forward edge wheels (depending on whether you’re ripping a frontside or backside) for balance. You might feel a tendency for the freebord to continue the 180 motion so you have to “push back” against the freebord then maintain the horizontal position by alternating the “push” motions. Whenever you use the fronstide edge wheels be extremely cautious not to put too much weight on them. That will cause them to catch and your body’s momentum will put you face first into the asphalt.

Press – simply lean back, taking some of your body weight off the front of the freebord and transferring it to the back. This will lift the front of the freebord off the ground, keeping the two rear edge wheels and the rear center wheel on the ground for stability. Take it slowly or you’ll go end up.

The Manual – Take the Press a little higher and you’ll go into a manual. This move lifts the rear center wheel right off the ground and puts all of your weight on the two rear edge wheels. Use your leading foot/leg for balance to keep the freebord from dropping down onto its tail.

Nose Press/Nose Manual – Reverse the motions of the Press and Manual to achieve a Nose Press and a Nose Manual. These moves may be a little more difficult because the majority of your body weight will be over the leading edge of the freebord. Be especially careful not to let the lip of the freebord hit the ground and watch out for cracks in the pavement, loose stones, or other hazards as any sudden decrease in momentum will send you off the leading edge of the freebord.

Frontside Nose Pivot – This move can be used to rotate your lead leg to the rear or your trailing leg to the front. To execute it, transfer some weight to the front of your freebord, as if you were attempting a Press or Manual. Then, push forward with your trailing leg quickly once the rear wheels of the freebord clear the ground. This will cause the freebord to “spin” on the front three wheels and reverse the freebord’s direction.

Backside Nose Pivot – This trick starts off the same as the Frontside but instead of pushing forward with the trailing leg, push backward.

Ollie – If you’ve ever skateboarded before, you know what an Ollie is. Essentially, it’s a bunny hop with a board. You lift the frontside of the board up and as that starts to drop, you bring the backside up. Ollies are an essential trick to learn as they gift you the gift of air and can be used to transition between uneven surfaces. Ollies on a freebord are a little easier than on a skateboard because you have the bindings to help “pull” the board up. Essentially, you squat (with knees bent) and then explode upward with your leading leg extending slightly before your trailing leg. Practice Ollies at slow speeds first because landing one gets harder the faster your going.

Jump 180 – this move lets you get your freebord reversed off the pavement. Bend your knees, explode upward and as your freebord wheels clear the ground spin your legs round in a circular motion (pushing forward with your trailing leg and backward with your leading leg). Reverse the push directions to complete a backside jump 180.

Standstill Spin – Start from a stationary position (hence the standstill) and bend your knees slightly. Explode upward but not so much as to lift your freebord off the ground. At the same time, push forward with your trailing foot and backward with your leading foot. This will take just enough of the weight off your edge wheels to cause the center wheels to slide. The pushing motion brings the freebord around in a circle. At the same time, twist your body to match the motion of your feet. This move can be terminated in a 180, 360, or even 720.

Advanced Tricks Await You!

These are just some basic tips to get started. Once you understand the physics of freebording, you can move on to more complex tricks, like Coleman slides, rails, and more. Go out and learn how to shred your world, but always ride carefully and wear protective gear!
