Everything About the Law of Attraction Is a Lie

The Law of Attraction does not work. It is complete nonsense. An absolute load of rubbish. You do not get what you want just because you want it, and the whole concept of "creative visualizing" is something that should be dumped altogether.

Now that got your attention, did not it? At least I have got you reading up until this point! You know, the paradox is that for the person who would utter the above statements it is a truth. The person who actually does not believe the Law of Attraction to be a force in action, will get the results in his / her life that reflect that belief and will reinforce it.

Most of us now know that the Law of Attraction is universal, and that we can not deny its effects. But, that does not mean there is no resistance! History proves to come about slowly.

Up until the point that Columbus circumnavigated the globe and actually returned home, many (many!) People believed the earth to be flat.

And not even too long ago it was postulated by respected scientists that human beings should not drive faster than approx. 45km / h, otherwise they would suffocate. Lastly, before Roger Bannister broke the four-minute limit on running the mile, hardly anyone considered it humanly possible to run that fast.

All the examples that were thought impossible and not true proved to be possible and true in the end.

The same goes for the Law of Attraction (LOA). As far as I am concerned personally, the LOA is a major force in the universe, which we can actually use consciously to create our life with (to a very high degree). I do realize, though, that the ultimate (universal) paradigm sketched above allows for the "nay-sayers" to be right as well. If you do not believe the LOA works, the LOA will happily help you to maintain that belief by not working for you! There's the good old rule: what you consistently think about and feel about is going to come about!

Even the "yea-sayers" have trouble trusting the application of the LOA every now and then-included! The concept is still so new for many of us, that this doubt and lack of trust is quite understandable. With the conscious application LOA, we are moving to a completely new paradigm, even though the concept has been written about and practiced for decades, if not centuries. There are more people latching on to the concept now, which means a GLOBAL "repatterning" of our belief systems. This is where it differs from the smaller groups that were practicing the principles.

The major issue I come across in my NLP Coaching practice in terms of application of the LOA is the subject of "letting go": not being attached to the outcome of our desires. I have written about "letting go" earlier already, and want to get as much clarity about it as I can. That is why my next article will delve into the specifics of "letting go" even further.

All my clients that "get it" make quantum leaps in their growth, successes and achievements. As far as I am concerned it is where the key to freedom lies, financially, spiritually, professionally or otherwise.

Let's go down the rabbit hole.

Is it True That During Panic Attacks Brain Functions Are Altered?

During panic attacks, brain activities are greatly altered. They say that this is due to the sudden shift of the majority of the blood flowing through our brains from the frontal to the parietal lobe. Is panic attacks symptom of brain disorder? No, your attacks are not at all a symptom of a brain disorder. To clear out the air in this specific confusion, let me discuss what happens in your brain during an attack.

We already know that your panic or anxiety attack is a fight or flight response to what your brain will perceive as a threat to your well being. This could be anything from a speeding car to a cat, depending on your personal thoughts and preferences. This could actually be tracked back to our primitive forefathers in which it had been often essential to respond quickly when threat approaches .

What scientists have learned is the fact that an individual's brain activity in the course of a panic attack immediately goes from the frontal section of the brain towards the midbrain , leading to the increased condition of dread and anxiety , implying that a distinct section of the brain gets a lot more activated in the course of an attack . This was proven utilizing brain scans while in panic attacks . Studies have shown blood circulation improving in the middle section of the brain where your instincts are located.

The issue is that once your panic attack starts and your increased condition of dread commences , it is rather challenging to invert the process and restore calmness . So that you can recover from panic , you will inevitably require the brain's activities to alter , or go back to the frontal section of the brain . Because of this, deep breathing could be accomplished in assisting individuals manage an attack .

Do not get me wrong, deep breathing is still necessary to make sure your brain receives all the oxygen it needs, but it is not the best way to calm you down. That is simply because deep breathing has no direct influence in the blood flow towards your brain.

The majority of researchers emphasize the needs of your brain during an attack . During these moments, your brain has shifted to panic or survival mode and so that you can regain your natural mental state ; you have to discover ways to change your mental process back to the wise section of your brain . What is more important is that you have to learn how to do this in a fraction of a second.

Does it sound complicated and challenging to you? Oh please, this is the very least difficult. All you have to do is to insure yourself that there is no need to panic and that everything is going to be alright. When you learn to do that, brain activities will suddenly shift back to where it should be – frontal lobe.

Sure this takes a lot of practice, and you may fail to do this once, twice or even thrice to perfect it, but this is the best way to scientifically deal with your disorder. So even during panic attacks brain functions alter, you can easily revert it back to how it should be.

What Are Architectural Landscape Photos?

There are not many but some of us take an interest in architectural landscape photos. With a view to giving some insight on this subject I have created this article to give a basic understanding and supply some facts about its origins. Some of us become interested in architectural landscape photos later in life, it does not matter when you take an interest but when you do you'll be hooked.

If taking architectural landscape photos is one of your hobbies, it might be interesting for you to read a brief history of architectural photography. Commercial portraiture was the main area of interest in the early years of photography. The ones who made architectural landscape photos were generally travelers, for different business reasons, not only especially for photography. At that time (the middle of the 19th century), photographers usually worked from a convenient window rather than at street level, as they do now.

WHF Talbot, one of the first photographers, used to take architectural landscapes from his hotel window, in the cities he visited. Roger Fenton, the first war photographer was the first one to take fine architectural studies, using calotypes, both in Britain, his home country, and in Russia (in Kiev, Moscow and St. Petersburg). He learned the waxed paper calotype process from Gustave Le Gray, its inventor, in his journeys to Paris.

Francis Frith was the first one to make the Middle East familiar to the civilized world, by the architectural landscape photos he took in his travels. He bore with him very large cameras and used the collodion process, as he had to work in hot and dusty conditions.
Samuel Bourne is another British photographer that became famous for his work in India.

Most of the early architectural landscape photos give the subjects the impression of import and grandeur. The lenses needed for architecture were quite different from the ones used in portraiture. They had to give sharpness and linear drawing, but there was no need for high speed, as buildings sit still.

In the late 19th century, photographers were advised to keep the camera back vertical and to photograph buildings from the normal eye level, instead of using elevated views, in order to suggest the normal impression of height. The frontage and a side of the building had to be both included in the architectural landscape photo. Camera movements were also considered essential, and the most important movement was the rising front.

Frederick H. Evans is regarded as the finest architectural photographer of his era. He is famous for his images of the exteriors and interiors of English and French medieval cathedrals. He adopted the platinotype technique, which best suited his subject matter. His ideal relating architectural landscape photos was the "perfect" photographic representation, unretouched and not modified at all.

The city growth at the end of the 19th century lead to the development of commercial architectural landscape photography. The most important companies that took advantage of this new opportunity, in New York, were the Byron Company and the company founded by Norman and Lionel Wurts.

In the beginning of the 20th century, the modern movement brought new standards, both in architecture and photography. Some of the new modernist photographers in 1920s were Berenice Abbott in New York, Ilse Bing in Frankfurt and Margaret Bourke-White, best known as a photojournalist. One of the best-considered companies that made architectural landscape photos was Hedrich-Blessing. It was founded in Chicago in 1929 by Ken Hedrich and Henry Blessing. Today, Jim Hedrich, Ken's son still runs the firm. The founder's well-known quote "Do not make photographs, think them." suggests that their photos had something to say about the building, not only record an image of it.

Although he was an architect by profession, Ezra Stoller established himself as a leading architectural photographer. Some of his most important works are the architectural landscape photos of Le Corbusier's Chapel Notre-Dame-du-Haut at Ronchamp. The key elements in Stoller's work are light and space. Esto, the company founded by Stoller still makes some of the best work in the field.

Julius Shulman took a revolutionary approach upon modernism, turning the modernist principle upside down. He was the first one to introduce people in the frame of the camera. He did not want to show abstract images of wall details or empty rooms. In his architectural landscape photos, he "humanized" the houses designed by architects such as Richard Neutra, Pierre Koenig or Rudolf Schindler. Shulman is best known for his photograph "Case Study House # 22, Los Angeles, 1960. Pierre Koenig, Architect". The end of modernism also represented the end of Shulman's career, as his ideas of composition, the sensitive images and his ways of working were deeply modernistic.

Some of the most important contemporary architectural photographs are Gerald Zugmann, Mark Citret and Richard Margolis. You can take a look at their architectural landscape photos on their web sites.

Glass For Architecture

In the construction of modern buildings, glass has become an essential component. With modern technology, the permutation of glass types has been both varied and exciting. There have been applications in both small and large amounts – from kitchen wall splash backs, cabinetry and staircase balustrades and threads, to laminated double-glazing for office buildings and skyscrapers.

So which type of glass is suitable for what kind of application?

Here we take a look at the different types of glass, their classifications and specifications, as well as the way glass is used.

Glass Types

1. Float Glass / Annealed Glass

– Distortion free
– Precision-flat
– Clear transparent

2. Tinted Float Glass

– Solar control and absorption of solar radiation energy
– Cuts down heat transmittance
– Reduce cooling load
– Glare reduction
– Tinted green, blue or gray

3. Low-Iron Glass

– High clarity and transparency
– Low iron oxide content
– No green tint that is inherent in normal float glass

Thermal Treatment
Glass is treated with heat to enhance its properties. The main benefit of the process is to strengthen the glass. Basically, float glass is heated to near softening point and then quenched by blasting cool air rapidly. The surface of the glass is compressed as it is cooled faster than its core, so compressing it.

1. Tempered glass

– Impact resistance – can withstand the static load resistance 3 to 5 times that of float glass and impact resistance of 5 to 10 times of float glass of same thickness
– Temperature resistance – it can withstand temperatures of 150 degree Celsius compared to float glass which can only withstand temperatures of 40-50 degree Celsius
– Safety – breaks into small pieces instead of float glass which breaks into large knife-like shards that can cause injury

It is applicable in shower screens, balustrades, signage, doors and windows and interior and other decorative uses due to its safety properties. It is also known as safety glass.

2. Heat Strengthened glass

– Impact resistance – is 2 times stronger than float glass
– Temperature resistance – it can withstand temperatures up to 295 degree Celsius.
– Safety – breaks into larger pieces but holds within its frame as intermediate glass pieces support each other
– Impurities – there is virtually no impurities of nickel sulphide so there is little risk of spontaneous breakage

It is often used for architectural facade glazing. This is because it combines well with lamination – allowing the interlayer to be laminated better as this surface is smoother and flatter. This is due to its lower levels of surface compression. The smooth surface also allows better clarity and transparency.

With is flatter surface it also allows for laminated layer to adhere well and reduce optical distortion. Therefore it is often used for double glazing and laminated glass.

However heat reinforced glass is not suitable for areas where there is close human contact as it breaks in larger pieces which can be dangerous. Where Fire access panels or breakable panels are required, tempered glass is used.

3. Laminated Glass

Laminated glass basically involves bonding 2 pieces of glass with an interlayer also known as a PVB (Polyvinylbutyral).

– Safety – When the glass is broken, the interlayer holds the glass shards in place, thereby reducing chance of injury. It is therefore a good safety glass.
– Impact resistance – The interlayer is able to absorb force. The interlayer can also resist penetration.
– Sound reduction – The glass has strong acoustic ability as the interlayer acts as a sound insulator.
– Glare control – By tinting the interlayer, it is able to reduce the heat / glare load by absorbing direct radiation from the sun. This also helps to reduce the cooling load for the building
– UV reduction – These harmful ultra-violet rays of the sun is cut out (99%) thereby protecting internal elements such as furniture. However, it allows the light necessary for the photosynthesis of plants.

Laminated glass is suitable for internal but more popular with external glazing applications. The PVB layer can also be made of various colored tints and textures. This is used in inventive ways for interior works.

4. Low-E glass

– Good thermal property- frequently used for office buildings with its continuous curtain wall glazing. The insulating property cuts out significant radiation and reduces the cooling load.
– High transparency – The glass is highly transparent and clear
– Low-reflectivity – it allows most sunlight to enter in the visible range without altering its natural color. Provides excellent natural illumination and save energy by reducing need for artificial lighting.

Dental Extractions

Dental extracts, or tooth pulling, are among the most straightforward and best ways to get relief from a toothache. An extraction, as the name implies, involves removing the tooth. If the tooth has become severely infected, or your pulp has died, extraction may be the only option. Depending on the tooth and situation, the extraction may be simple or more complicated – either way, the dentist will make the process as pain-free as possible.

Simple extracts, also known as pulling, do not take long to complete. The dentist will numb you with local anesthesia before he starts, so you will not feel a thing. Depending on the tooth, pulling it will normally take just a few minutes once you have been numbered. Once completed, the dentist will place gauze in your mouth to bite on and you will be free to go.

These types of extracts, the simple extracts, are the most common in the world of dentistry. During a simple extraction, the dentist loosens the gums around the socket so as to be able to remove the tooth. He will grasp the tooth with forceps and move it from side to side until he can get it to break free of the socket. Once free of the socket it is easy to remove the tooth.

A thin piece of soft tissue holds teeth to the bone. This soft tissue is known as the periodontal ligament. The dentist removes the tooth by breaking this tissue. The best way to remove a tooth by pulling is to rock the tooth from side to side, enlarging the socket in the bone and breaking the ligament that helps hold the tooth in place.

Unfortunately, not all teeth can be pulled. The tooth may have become so decreed or broken off that the dentist has nothing to forgive above the gum line. In this case, the dentist will need to perform a more complicated extraction, to get the tooth out below the gum line, as he will not be able to use the standard method of pulling and rocking.

This type of extraction involves making an incision in the gums around the tooth, and raising the flap cut to expose the bone. Once the bone is exposed, there may be enough of the tooth exposed for the dentist to grab and remove it using the pulling method. In many cases however, the tooth will be embedded in the bone, meaning that the dentist will not be able to pull the tooth out.

With teeth that are imbedded in the bone, the dentist will need to use a drill and chip away at the bone to get to the tooth. This is known as cutting the tooth out, and is quite a common procedure with imputed teeth or teeth that are severely declined. Once the dentist has cut his way to the tooth and removed it, he will sew back the flap of skin that he cut to get to the tooth. The flap of skin and the socket will heal over time – provided you take care of it.

Dental extracts are a very common procedure for dentists who perform them on a daily basis. Oral surgeons are the best for extracts, as extracts are all they do. All types of extracts, not just the most complex, will take time to heal. As long as you take care of your extraction site, you'll avoid common pitfalls such as dry sockets and other mishaps. They can be a bit painful immediately after the procedure – after a little while you'll start to feel a lot better for having the tooth or teeth removed.

Learn How To Decant Wine Correctly

If you've bought a bargain bottle of wine, you may not be so worried about the correct way to store it, or the correct way in which to pour it, but for those who have invested a little more time and money into their wines , this is more of an issue.

Decanting a wine can make a massive difference to how it will taste. Hopefully, you would have stored you're wine on its side from the moment you bought it home. Two hours prior to opening the wine, you'll need to stand it upright, then you'll need to cut the foil from just underneath the rim of the bottle. This is so as to make things as neat as possible when we begin pouring out the wine from the bottle.

The next thing you'll need to do is to remove the cork. Grab either a candle or a torch, something that will give you enough adequate light so as to look into the bottle, a candle being the traditional method. Place the candle or torch so that the light from them is shining upwards, you'll then need to hold the bottle and a decanter or jug over the light source. Look down at the torch or candle through the neck of the wine bottle, and you should see a lovely clear wine.

The next steps is to then pour this wine very slowly into the vessel, keeping a close eye on the wine as it's famous, stopping pouring if you see any sediment near the neck of the bottle. You do not want any sediment to go into the vessel. Once you've about an inch of wine left in the bottle, this can be discarded, as this will mostly be made up of sediment. Once you've discarded this from the bottle, rinse the bottle thoroughly and place the wine back inside it.

When you're ready to pour the wine into a glass, try to only fill it to one third, and as you pull the decanter away from the glass, give ta twist of 180 degrees which should guarantee no dripping occurs.

Moderating Illumination by Means of Window Blinds is Quite Trouble-Free and Inexpensive

Proficiently designed and manufactured vertical blinds are indeed the paramount window treatment for modulating the quantity and strength of incoming light. Due to the 180-degree revolving capacity of each window blinds slat, the course of incoming light can be easily altered and controlled by trouble-free adjustment to the angle of slat position. With the effortless action of the nylon control cord, vertical blinds can be moved a mere fraction of an inch-just sufficient to form a tile change in the interior lighting effects. This can be especially advantageous at what ever time of the day windows covered with vertical blind treatments get the most direct sunlight exposure. Depending on the assignment of your windows, they may have exposure to the brilliant rays of direct sunlight at mid-morning, mid-afternoon, sunrise or sunset. At these times, depending on the level and strength of incoming light, you may wish to close your vertical blinds wholly, or at least rotate them to near-closure to moderate the brightness.

One beautiful beautiful effect that you can attain through sunrise or sunset is the soft, subdued glow of first dawn or dusk lighting by partly stopping the bright streams of dazzling light blaring through both window glass and vertical blinds. In this occurrence, the window blinds work as a filter to alter glaring brightness to golden glow. Since each degree of blind movement brings about a slight modification in lighting effects, there exist many potential for general environmental lighting options for your room or quarters. Furthermore, if your rooms have various windows with vertical blind installation, even more diverse lighting results can be obtained. The better the thickness of the window blinds, the more light can be filtered, and one of the superlative types of vertical blinds for piquant filtering capacity is fabric window blinds, chiefly if they are dark in color and textured. Another category of vertical blinds that is excellent for resting incoming light is the new faux wood blinds. Their dense, grained and exceptionally polished exterior quality tend to reflect the room's interior light while keeping the exterior sunrays at bay. Still another lighting reflector in the class of vertical blinds is the mirrored blinds which mirror an image of the room's interior including its man-made lighting effects, and also thwart any intension outside light from entering.

In the early evening or morning, or on cloudy, rainy or tempestuous days, vertical blinds right full window exposure to the softened light of the outside atmosphere. In view of the fact that these versatile window treatments are made with window blinds slats moving to whichever side, or both sides uniformly, they can be opened to complete complete window view visibility. Although most low rise and high-rise residents using vertical blinds as window treatments are aware to their homes' vulnerability to effortless visibility from the outside by means of its windows, they can still open vertical blinds to half-mast or just a little to prevent a closed-in atmosphere while preventing outside to inside viewing.

At any time of the year, in any climate, one of the most beautiful feelings, arises from awakening to morning light gently sifting through classily colored, textured and designed vertical blinds. Whether the light passes in bright, bold diagonal rays or as understated and gentle glow, with the well-fashioned filtering prospect and effect of lovely vertical blinds, your area is adjusted into a relaxing, calm and soothing representation of soft clouds floating meditatively somewhere above bright sunlight. Now, you can start off your day with calm, composed assurance free of any harsh or jolting effects from the visual assault of intense light intruding from the outside world. Certainly, we all delight in the warmth of bright sunlight, but even foliage and animals need relief from the sun's strong rays. Thanks to the ingenious setting up and careful design of vertical blinds creators and manufacturers, we can let a little bit of the sunshine in, while retaining its harmful effects outside.

What is High Power LED?

LED is short for Light emitting diode that is semiconductor device, when electricity flows through in the direction direction, it emits light of different color. High power LEDs are one type of LEDs that has higher power and brightness and of course are more expensive comparing to the small power ones. The regular LED current rating is 20mA, mainly LED with current current higher than 20mA can be called high power.Generally rating power has 0.25w, 0.5w, 1w, 3w, 5w, 8w, 10w and so on, the brightness is measured in lm while for small power are are widely applied on auto lights, flashlights, lighting fixtures etc.

The classification standard for high power LEDs has three types:

The first type is to classify according to rating power of finish product after packaging, it can be 0.5W, 1W, 3W, 5W, 10W …. 100W.

The second is by package techniques: large dimension epoxy package, simulated superflux epoxy package, MCPCB package,

The third is by luminous decay amount, it can be low and non-low luminous decay ones.

The shape of high power LEDs has available in both Star and O'Ring configurations. Both configurations offer the best possible color rendering capability and color temperature. With a nominal correlated color temperature of 3200K, close to traditional indoor light source, it is particularly suited to architects and light designers.

They are developing rapidly in recent years and creating a new approach for future lighting.

Customizing Walls by Decorating With Wallpaper

Picking the kind of wallpaper to use not only depends on the liking of the homeowner, but also the location where the wallpaper will be installed, the amount of human traffic, those who will frequent the area and the activities that will transpire in the room. These factors must be taken into account when redecorating walls with designer wallpaper and wallpaper borders.

Low-traffic and low-activity areas like master bedrooms, dens, and babies' rooms may be pasted with standard wallpapers since these areas are not prone to damage or stains. However, high-traffic and high-volume areas such as the kitchen, bathroom, and children's rooms must be fitted with vinyl wallpapers and wallpaperorders, because they are easy to clean and are more durable than standard designer wallpaper.

As mentioned before, the design of the wallpaper also depends on those who frequent the area. The bedroom for instance, serves as a haven for every member of the household and for those whose room is to be wallpapered, they will most likely want to decorate their bedrooms to express their style and personality.

Teenagers are very creative – when it comes to decorating their walls, they tend to be very passionate in expressing themselves in almost every aspect of their room be it the murals, wallpaper borders, or other wall decors. Teens typically like loud, animated wallpaper designs and murals. However, there are no exact trends in decorating a teenager's bedroom since most of them will end up highly individualized in terms of colors and themes.

The nursery room is a peaceful place. As such, the colors and patterns of their walls should be very comfortable but still exhibit vibrant, light colors. Colorful designer wallpaper, murals, and wallpaper borders that are based on nursery rhymes are a great decorative choice for nursery rooms. Do stay away from colors or pictures that are too loud for the little ones. Strike a good balance between colors and design for stimulation and comfort when choosing nursery room wallpaper.

For kitchens, the best way to enliven the walls is to use kitchen wall decor and wallpaper that match and complement each other. Synthetic Anti Slip Flooring Vs Concrete Flooring

Depending on the type of industry warehouse floorings are serving, they have to cope with many demands, among them heavy traffic, impact absorption, extreme temperatures, cleaning and safety. They should also be durable to last a long time and cost-efficient. Concrete profiles are required to have perfect floor flatness to carry with ease the machinery and equipment that travels on them regularly. Several types of modern flooring have come up that are suitable for warehouses and other forms of storage facilities. Among the many, there are synthetic anti-slip flooring and concrete floors. But which is better? Let's find out.

Synthetic anti-slip flooring is a durable polypropylene plastic which is in tile form. It clicks together to shape a seamless floor surface. It has become a very popular choice nowdays because of its noticeable qualities. One of them is its varying texture that provides an anti-slip grip. This is essential in industrial safety. It is an ideal floor design for warehouses because it can support heavy weights while retaining its spring, making it both durable and a comfortable floor to stand or walk on.

An important factor in storing goods is the ability of this kind of flooring to protect the substrate surface while allowing the floor to breathe underneath. This quality is useful when the floor surface is uneven or damaged. Stocks will also be protected from moisture and dampness. Moreover, this type of flooring can resist extreme temperatures and chemicals. For warehouses that carry various chemicals, diesels and oils, and where these substances often leak and spill, this type of chemical-resistant flooring is ideal. In addition, it is also UV-stable and sound-absorbent. This characteristic helps in reducing echoes and noise pollution.

Synthetic anti-slip flooring also requires little maintenance. It is very easy to clean with a dry or wet vacuum or with an occasional pressure washher. When deep cleaning becomes necessary, the flooring can be easily lifted. But since installation is easy as well as removal, this is not much of a job to worry about. This also makes it easy to do replacements and repairs.

What about concrete flooring? Is it any better than the synthetic anti-slip flooring? Well, concrete flooring has its merits which are why it still is being used by many. If properly maintained, it can be very durable and can outlast other flooring materials. It is also cost-effective and versatile. But there are also disadvantages in using it. One of them is its porous surface which makes it last to staining and vulnerable to pitting. But there is a solution for this. They are covered with protective paint or sealant keeping it resistant from oils, chemicals and moisture. They can also reduce wear and tear, which in turn saves money for repairs.

Between the synthetic anti-slip flooring and concrete flooring, the former is more structurally sound. With developments in industry equipment, modern flooring products and techniques like synthetic anti-slip flooring should be considered better options than conventional methods of floor construction. These floor types highlight a floor flatness that can support revolutionized operations. Installing the right floor flatness allows maximum performance for machinery operations.
