Penis Injury of the Suspensory Ligament: What Men Need to Know

A painful penis injury is just about every guy’s worst nightmare, and one of the primary motivating factors for keeping a close eye on one’s penis health. Although many men know about the rare but painful penis fracture, very few are aware that damage to the suspensory ligament of the penis can also be a cause for serious pain and discomfort – as well as an impediment to positive erectile function.

The suspensory ligament

The name “suspensory ligament” is a mouthful, which may be one reason most non-physicians are not familiar with it. A ligament is fibrous connective tissue that generally connects one bone to another. Ligaments are found throughout the body, including in the pelvis. The suspensory ligament is basically what connects the penis to the left and right pubic bones. It also plays a big role in providing maximum support for the penis when it is erect, helping it to stretch up and out as the blood flows in and fills up the penis during times of sexual excitement.

Penis injury

It’s easy to see the important role that the suspensory ligament plays in proper penis functioning and why it is important to avoid injury to this connective tissue. Fortunately, damage to the suspensory ligament is not an everyday occurrence in humans. (Interestingly, it does happen rather more frequently in animals, especially horses.)

The most common cause of a problem with the suspensory ligament is trauma to the penis, especially if it occurs when the organ is engorged. For example, if the erect penis is pushed down hard, it may cause the ligament to tear, either partially or fully. This can cause a significant degree of pain in the moment, and lingering lesser amounts of pain. The pain is likely to increase during periods of excitement. Because of the role that the ligament plays in supporting erection, it also means that a man’s erection may not be as full or as intense as is normal.

This “pushing down” on the erect penis may occur when a partner accidentally handles the penis incorrectly, or if a man is thrusting during intercourse at an incorrect angle. Sometimes this can occur during sleep, when a man is experiencing an erection and rolls over on it. It can also be the result of an object, such as a baseball, hitting the erect penis with great force.

If a man sustains a penis injury, he should contact a doctor as soon as possible; seeing a urologist is generally a better first step than seeing a general practitioner, who is likely to recommend a visit to a urologist anyway.

If the damage to the suspensory ligament is minor – meaning, the ligament has been strained but not actually torn or detached – the doctor is likely to recommend pain relievers, application of soothing compresses and rest. However, in cases in which there is tearing or detachment, surgery is often recommended. Ligaments do not have the same propensity to heal naturally as many other parts of the body, and so “re-sewing” the suspensory ligament is often necessary in order to correct the penis injury.

Treating damage to the suspensory ligament, or any type of penis injury, is easier if the manhood is already in its best possible health. Regular use of a top drawer penis health creme (health professionals recommend Man1 Man Oil) can help in this area. Vitamin C is well known for its role in collagen production and the resulting penile tissue firmness, so most men will wisely gravitate toward a crème that includes this all-important vitamin. Since trauma can also result in de-sensitization of the penis, a crème that also contains acetyl L carnitine is recommended. Why? Because acetyl L carnitine is neuroprotective; it helps prevent peripheral nerve damage to the penis due to rough handling, thereby protecting the degree of pleasurable sensitivity which men associate with the penis.

Ednometriosis and Chemical Cells Salt – Calcarea Phosphorica (Calcium Phosphate, Ca3(Po4))

As we mentioned in other articles, endometriosis growing somewhere else other than the endometrium also reacts to hormonal signals of the monthly menstrual cycle, building up tissue by breaking it, and eliminating it through the menstrual period. As we know chemical cells salt play a very important role in some culture in treating some kinds of diseases. In this article, we will discuss how Calcarea Phosphorica (calcium phosphate, Ca3(Po4)) helps to treat endometriosis.

I. Definition

Calcarea Phosphorica (calcium phosphate, Ca3(Po4)), also known as phosphate of lime. it plays an important role for body growth and nourishment. It has been used in treating people with anemia in homeopathic medicine.

II. How Calcarea phosphorica (calcium phosphate, Ca3(Po4)) effects endometriosis

1. Anemia

Calcarea phosphorica is a homeopathic medicine that is said to helps increase the production of red blood cell and blood. It is essential for women with heavy blood flow during menstruation for replacing blood loss.

2. Tissue relaxation

It is also said to help support the body tissues, including the abdominal muscle tissue, thereby it helps to relax the muscle tension caused by hormone imbalance resulting in decreasing the menstrual cramps for women with endometriosis.

3. Coagulation

Calcarea phosphorica is also helps to support body tissues by blood clotting that helps to reduce excessive menstrual flow by helping the capillaries and blood vessels in the abdomen to clot.

4. Water retention

It also helps to stimulate waste disposal through lympathic functions thereby decreasing the risk of water retention caused by excessive sodium and deficiency of potassium.

5. Numbness and crawling

Numbness and crawling is caused by irregular function of tissues due to tension of nervous system. By improving the body tissues’ function such as muscle and blood flow, calcarea phosphorica helps to relax and reduce pain for women with endometriosis.

Are You Getting Enough Calcium From Your Anti Candida Diet?

It’s true that oral contraceptives increase the risk of Candida overgrowth, but so can your diet. For instance, foods that primarily feed Candida albicans include foods high in starch and sugar. That being said, other foods, including dairy products (with the exception of butter and eggs) also encourage Candida overgrowth. For this reason, many people try to keep their Candida in check by controlling their diet by following an anti candida diet.

Unfortunately, due to the fact that dairy products encourage Candida growth, particularly in those who have an allergy to milk, most dairy products (milk, cheese, ice cream, cream, buttermilk etc.) are often eliminated from the diet. This fact has those on a Candida diet wondering how they can give their body the necessary calcium it needs, without stimulating the growth of Candida albicans.

How can you get the calcium you need without the help of diary?

If you are concerned about calcium, you will be pleased to know that there are many other food sources that contain calcium such as:

– Dark leafy green vegetables (bok choy, kale, cabbage)

– Raw broccoli

– Seaweed

– Dried fruit

– Almonds

– Sesame seeds

– Pinto beans

– Tahini

– Canned salmon

– Canned tuna

– Sardines with edible bones

– Calcium Fortified products (soymilk, tofu, orange juice, etc.)

That being said, you should keep in mind that certain foods that are high in calcium such as spinach and rhubarb also contain oxalates. Oxalates actually block calcium absorption and are, therefore, counter productive. Thus, make sure you research calcium enriched foods before trusting they will provide your body with the calcium it needs. It’s also a good idea to visit a nutritionist or dietician if you plan on using non-dairy foods for sources of calcium.

In addition, in order to help your body maintain healthy calcium levels you should limit or eliminate your intake of caffeine and alcohol. These products deplete calcium levels. Furthermore, make sure you exercise regularly. Lack of exercise is another way to reduce calcium levels.

If you are having a difficult time ingesting foods rich in calcium, or are worried you are not meeting the daily requirements your body needs, you should talk to your doctor about taking calcium supplements.

It is highly recommended that you consult your doctor first before you begin taking calcium supplements. The reason is because it is not possible to accurately determine the correct amount of calcium your body requires without knowing your body chemistry first. There are many different calcium supplements on the market, and there is a high possibility that you can pick one which will make your pH worse rather than improving it.

You see, the vast majority of the less expensive calcium supplements have calcium carbonate listed as their main ingredient. Calcium carbonate is usually created from oyster shells or ground limestone. Calcium from oyster shells is the least effective supplement. Ground limestone, on the other hand, is a better calcium supplement than oyster shells (depending on how fine it’s grinded), but it still doesn’t compare to the better forms.

The best calcium supplement forms include:

– Pure calcium gluconate

– Calcium citrate

– Calcium lactate

In addition, avoid purchasing calcium supplements that list magnesium in their ingredients. The reason is because the body’s Magnesium requirements should be attended to separately from calcium. Thus, the necessary calcium should be taken separately from other minerals. Moreover, you shouldn’t buy combination supplements simply for their calcium content.

Don’t forget that in order for calcium to respond effectively within the body to maintain balance, the correct type must be taken. Therefore, see your doctor first before you start supplementing your anti candida diet.

Lucky Plants and Bonsai Trees, Your Home and Business

Looking to grow and decorate lucky trees and lucky plants inside or outside your home or business establishment? Now is the perfect time to narrow down your choices with this quick roundup of the trees and plants that are not only easy to care, but also prized as auspicious in the Chinese feng shui:

Lucky Bamboo Plants.

Symbolic for good luck and success due to their innate resilience, strength, and ability to grow quickly, the lucky bamboo plants attempt to balance the five (5) natural feng shui elements in the home or office, I.e., wood, metal, earth, water, and fire, which are represented, respectively, by the plant itself, glass vase or coin, rocks, water itself, and red ribbon. Lucky bamboo plants can be planted as stalks or grown into beautiful shapes, like a pyramid.

Place your lucky bamboo plant in a glass vase (or ceramic vase with a coin) that is filled with natural river rocks for support and at least an inch of low-chlorinated water and tie a red bow around the glass vase. Feed them with a drop of fertilizer, if you can, to keep their roots healthy. Place lucky bamboo plants in a shady spot in the home or office where you want to invite more blessings for good luck and harmony, such as on the counter of your business place or the living room of your home. In Asia, tying red ribbons on the stalk of the lucky bamboo plant during the Chinese New Year is a common practice and they are put in a special table together with other auspicious objects, like the golden ingot.

Jade Plant (Crassula ovata)

The jade plant, also known as the Asian money tree, is considered as the ultimate plant symbol for prosperity in many Asian cultures. It is frequently grown as a bonsai in Asian homes, business places, and gardens due to its ability to grow into a beautifully lush bonsai tree and is used as the model of the jade mini gemstone trees of Asia, or the artificial plant decoration with leaves that are shaped from jade.

The jade plant features ovoid-shaped or coin-shaped succulent leaves in the shades of Jadeite, thus its name as Asian money tree and Jade. As a feng shui cure, it is usually placed in the entryway or the southwest corner of the home, restaurant, or business office to strengthen the energy and flow of money. Jade plants can grow as an indoor or outdoor plant, ideally put in a location where they can get direct sunlight, watered to keep their soil moist, and their leaves regularly freed from dust and dirt. You can also add pebbles on top of their soil to facilitate the drainage of water.

Money Tree (Pachira aquatica)

The Pachira aquatica is famed as the Chinese money tree because of its 5-lobed palmate leaves, which is considered lucky in Asia and associated with the five (5) feng shui elements of water, earth, fire, wood, and metal. It is often distinguished for its braided stem and flourishing leaves that are sometimes made to create a round-shaped canopy and it is widely used as an ornamental plant in Asia, especially business offices and malls, grown as a bonsai, or given out as gifts during the Chinese New Year.

As a native plant to the wetlands and swamps, the money tree thrives well in moist soils and in locations that are sunny with a partial shade. When planting them indoors, place them in a brightly-lit corner and turn them regularly to keep them growing straight and leafing evenly.

Moth Orchid (Phalaeonopsis orchid)

Asians have recently seen the popularity of the Phalaeonopsis orchids, or Moth Orchids, as a decoration in major business establishments, like shopping malls, as Chinese entrepreneurs use them both as a lucky and inspiring Chinese décor for their business. The moth orchid’s flower shape, which is believed to resemble moths in flight, essentially makes for its symbolism for good luck, particularly referencing the same to the characteristics of moths as nocturnal creatures that do not stumble in the dark and that are never afraid to go close to the light.

Moth orchids can be grown in most orchid potting medias, like the bark of trees or charcoal, ideally placed in shady outdoors with low light, and watered just enough to keep their potting media moist. Their flowers can bloom for a week to two (2) months and is prized as one of the most expensive wedding flowers in Asia’s tropical countries.

Peace Lily.

Peace lilies are easily distinguished for their white flowers that resemble an anthurium, and they are prized not only for the way they help to purify the indoor air from toxins, but also as a symbol for good luck and harmony. Peace lilies are an auspicious feng shui plant decoration that is fairly easy to tend, it is best placed on a spot where it can acquire indirect exposure to sunlight, and a pot of peace lily typically yields flowers that bloom for a very long time.

Citrus and Lime Trees

Citrus and lime are considered as symbols for good health, longevity, wealth, and prosperity, and along with the lucky bamboo and money plants, decorating a citrus or lime in the home during the Chinese New Year is said to foster good luck, wealth, and good health to the family and business the whole year. Citrus and lime are frequently grown as a bonsai, or decorated in their artificial form, in the entryway of the home or business places to foster success in every endeavour and the positive flow of money.

How to Choose and Use Plants as Lucky Chinese Décor?

Flowering plants, plants with round or smooth-edged leaves or canopy, and with leaves that are clustered in an auspicious number are commonly considered lucky plant decorations, as well as any plant that is believed to purify the air. Avoid putting spikey and thorny plants on the front of your home – whether inside or outside the fence – as such is said to break the positive flow of wealth and success and aim to arrange plants in pairs to keep the balance of yin and yang within your place.

Most importantly, consider the plants that you would like to care following your capability to care for the same so that you can always keep them healthy and clean, which is exactly what they need to invite the positive flow of chi.

The 26 Fighting Elements of Jeet Kune Do

Jeet Kune Do or the Way of the Intercepting Fist is a martial arts style developed by the late great Bruce Lee. It is because of the creation of this fighting style that made Bruce Lee dubbed as the godfather of mixed martial arts. Jeet Kune Do (or Jun Fan Jeet Kune Do) is a product of 26 martial arts both from the east and the west that Bruce Lee has combined by keeping what he sees as essential and discarding what is not. If you want to train in this form of combat, having an overview of what these 26 martial arts are will help you have a deeper understanding and preparation for learning Jeet Kune Do.

1. Wing Chun

2. Northern Praying Mantis

3. Southern Praying Mantis

Not all of the techniques that each of these styles were taken by Bruce Lee to create Jeet Kune Do. He only adopted some of their techniques that he deemed simplest and most economical in the four combat ranges of punching range, kicking range, grappling range, and trapping range.

Filter Vs Cafetiere Coffee

What is the best way to brew coffee? Well I’m afraid to say I’m sitting on the fence with this one. Each brew method produces a different taste so in my book they’re all good (well most of them). It’s like cooking an egg: fried, poached, scrambled, boiled; they all taste different.

Today, I’m going to focus on filter (sometimes called drip) and cafetiere (French press), as they are the two simplest (and cheapest) ways to brew coffee at home.

Taste Differences

The cafetiere produces a rich full bodied cup in comparison to the filter method. With a cafetiere the grounds are steeped in hot water (like brewing tea) and this extracts more compounds from the coffee. Steeping extracts oils, which add a creamy/buttery rich flavour to the cup. With the filter method hardly any oils are present.

So what is body and what difference does it make to the taste? Well body refers to the feeling in your mouth. Filter coffee, with its lighter body, just coats the tongue as it gently slivers down the back of your throat. Whereas, the fuller bodied cafetiere, coats the whole of your mouth making the flavour far more enduring.

As a cafetiere extracts more compounds from coffee than a filter does, it means that there are much more flavours in the cup. All these flavours can become a little muddled or mixed by our taste receptors – not in a bad way. These flavours work in unison like an orchestra, but it’s harder to pick out individual instruments.

Filter coffee has less flavours so each flavour has more clarity; (carrying on my musical analogy) like a rock band, you can pick out the individual instruments – vocals, drums, guitars etc. So typically, filter coffee produces a cup that is simpler, yet has a more defined flavour.

There is no way of avoiding some sediment in your cup using a cafetiere. On a cafetiere, the holes in the mesh filter (on the plunger) are wide enough to allow partially dissolved coffee solids to pass through. Now most of these solids form what chemist call ‘colloids’. They remain suspended in the brew and add flavour and texture. Unfortunately, some solids sink and become sediment in the bottom of your cup.

Filter coffee produces a much cleaner cup as the holes are much much finer. Paper filters produce no sediment whatsoever and metal filters produce little or none at all.

And the Winner…

I told you I’m sitting on the fence (well almost)! They both produce different tastes but if I had to pick only one, then I’d choose the cafetiere. Filter is good first thing in the morning and after a big meal, as it’s less filling. But there’s something deeply satisfying with a cafetiere.

Thailand – the perfect blend of inimitable views, stunning climate, pristine sandy beaches, excellent cuisine, lush dense and incredible foliage, and rare flora and fauna, has gradually evolved as a popular tourist destination over the years. Subsequently, there is also a consider rise in the number of luxury villas across the length and breadth of Thailand. There are generally two types of luxury villas. You can take a pick from any of the types depending on your preference.

Private stand-alone villas: They are generally owned by individuals on individually-held plots of land. They may be rented either with or without a security deposit. The villa may also have a support staff, often living off property for taking care of laundry, cleaning, and cooking. They may also act as guides for local visits. While choosing a privately held property or a resort property, it is imperative to keep in mind that a partial deposit is to be paid at the time of booking, either by a wire transfer or a credit card guarantee.

Resort villas: They are essentially consist of a resort's superior room inventory. Therefore, it would be priced accordingly. Masonic Symbol Meaning of the Level

“That which is altogether just shalt thou follow,

that thou mayest live, and inherit the land

which the Lord thy God giveth thee.”

Deut. 16:20

In Freemasonry, the level is the symbol of equality, not only among members of the Craft, but of all humanity. The fraternity teaches that mankind is the offspring of God, created in His image of one blood. As such, each person is born with certain inalienable rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Those who wrote this country’s Declaration of Independence and Constitution were not implementing man-made justice when incorporating such sentiments into our laws – they were enacting fundamental principles given us by the Most High.

Freemasonry’s love of equality does not mean that it also endorses the destruction of distinctions based upon merit, or that rank is somehow inconsistent with the Craft’s belief. Without question, all men are created equal by nature. Each is subject to the same infirmities associated with human existence. All are embraced b y God as His children and are ultimately destined to be judged equally and impartially according to His immutable laws. But some men, by training, discipline and the proper use of their God given talents rise above the ordinary and are entitled to enjoy a different status. Every man, woman and child has the opportunity to so advance, which makes this equality of opportunity not only consistent with divine and human laws, it is the very cement and support of civil society.

The level also serves as the emblem in the jewel worn by the Senior Warden of a Masonic lodge and reminds those in attendance at a Masonic meeting that all have gathered on the level. That phrase has also acquired significance in the day-to-day parlance in civil society. When one speaks about another as being on the level, he generally means that he believes the person about whom he is speaking to be truthful, honest and forthright.

Although Freemasonry did not invent those virtues, it inculcates them from the time a candidate for Masonic degrees first knocks at the door of a lodge until he is translated from this imperfect life to that celestial lodge above where the Supreme Architect of the Universe forever presides. Albert Pike, as well as other Masonic writers, has gone so far as to say that Freemasonry is the first apostle of equality. During this Nation’s formative years, Thomas Paine wrote an essay complimenting the Craft for its unflinching commitment to a government without tyranny, or religious restriction. Yet, there is something more about the significance of the level – something that holds a more personal about the meaning of the level for each and every Mason.

Masonic lodges have a sweet smell about them. Brotherhood is in the air and the principle of equality finds a perfectly welcome spot at the altar of obligation and prayer. Those sanctuaries are no different than any other meeting place, as far as furnishings go. But, the people are different. In a Masonic lodge one man regards another person whom he has just met for the first time as a long-lost friend. The Masons who gather there were not born to be different from other men. Each has his own cross to bear; each has enough sin in his past to condemn him. Yet, there is something special about the purpose-driven lives noticeable in the people who comprise the congregation. Harmony is worked at; kindnesses are freely given; smiles are easily flashed; and, men care not whether you reside in high society, or mingle daily with the middle class that makes up your neighborhood.

Within those lodges men meet upon the level; the rich and the poor; the high and the low; who, as created by one Almighty parent and inhabitants of the same world are to aid, support and protect one another. Men of diverse creeds, different interests and disparate occupations share a mutual respect and true regard for each other. Freemasonry lifts those men to a higher level than they would have ever believed themselves capable of reaching. Once there, each Freemason more clearly sees and understands the true meaning of the word “equality.”

No two people are, or should be treated differently in a Masonic lodge. Impartiality and fairness are, or should be accepted as routine by all members. For that reason alone discrimination is unknown among the members of the Craft, sincerity and plain dealing distinguish them; and, with heart and tongue they join in promoting each other’s welfare and rejoicing in each other’s prosperity. No one is precluded from participating in the lodge’s activities and equal access is given to the hidden mysteries.

Yet, the virtues symbolized by the level are not intended to be limited to the Masonic lodge room. The concept of equality, or of treating others with equal respect, is to be put into action by every Mason outside of the lodge room. At work, when others jump on the bandwagon to crucify a fellow worker, the Mason among them may be expected to demand common courtesy, compassion and empathy. In social circles when the conversation turns to criticizing a friend who is not present, the Mason among them may be expected to encourage restraint. When anger, disharmony, or disrespect of any nature rears its ugly head, it will not be a surprise to those who know that by word and example the Mason in the crowd promotes peace, harmony and goodwill.

Thus, as with all other virtues taught in Freemasonry, the lessons in equality taught by the level, instilled and nurtured within a Masonic lodge, achieve the greatest good for all mankind when lived in the world by the Mason himself. It comes as no surprise to followers of the Craft that Freemasons expect of themselves that each will be the change they expect to see in the world. In so becoming, each Mason brings light into the world and yields himself to become God’s vessel for extending extraordinary grace to all creation.

DIY Projects for the API Lunchbox

One of the coolest trends in recording equipment in the last decade or so has been the emergence of API’s 500-series “Lunchbox” format. The Lunchbox and other 500-series racks can provide power and housing 6-11 modules in a single 3RU chassis. These racks are great for DIYers like me love building electronics but don’t possess the time, skills, or tools to build their own racks.

Of course, DIYers have found ways to have their own fun with the 500-series. Eisen Audio’s DIY500 was the first module to the scene. It provides a PCB, faceplate, and the other hardware needed to build a transformer in/out, DOA-based (API, Twin Servo, et al) microphone preamp.

The next to arrive were ClassicAPI’s preamps in the vintage API-style. Created by a 1976 API console owner with a penchant for authenticity, the VP25/VP26 and the VP312 are precise clones of original API circuits. ClassicAPI has also worked with other manufacturers to replicate the original API iron and opamps. All of this makes the VPxx to closest thing on the market to a real vintage API preamp, closer even than what is offered by API today.

A couple of years ago some DIYers started talking about creating a modular system specifically for DIY. The result is 51x, a format with the 500-series form factor but with added +/-24v power rails. And last year the 51x Alliance brought out the 51x Alliance 511 Rack, a DIY, 3RU, 11-space rack with the choice for a 2RU power supply. Now the DIY community has their own modular rack with a hefty PSU and the correct voltages to power Neve preamps, a John Hardy DOAs, and so on.

Since the Alliances big announcement, the community has exploded with new modules for the format. Some, such as Don Classics Neve clone, Igor’s SSL buss compressor, and Classic API’s VP312DI have already been release. Others are on their way: [silent:arts] posted pictures of an optical comp based on the D-AOC and Igor intends to release a kit for an 1176-style compressor. Jeff Steiger of ClassicAPI has even started work on a 500-series/51x console (!!!) with the first draft of a “second stage” fader and filter unit already announced. It’s a great time to Do It Yourself!

Gain Weight and Muscle in 7 Days

To gain weight and muscle can be a tough task for many of us possessing a fast metabolic rate and a skinny body. I understand as that was my case until I grew in excess of 97 lb's in 16 months. You can definitely add 5-10 healthy KG's or 10 – 20 lbs to your build in just 1 – 2 weeks. I'm about to instruct you how to gain weight and muscle quickly.

Gain weight and muscle of up to 7 lbs in the first week – possibly more.

Discover how to increase muscle size and mass – gain muscle without flab.

Keep your passion and love for working out at an all time high.

To gain muscle you should workout and eat in a specific manner – its not hard. First lets examine your eating habits. You need to stack up on creatine in this initial week and consume plenty of fluid. This is a key to gain weight and muscle quickly. Fluid intake is crucial during all of your work outs. The creatine stacking means 25 grams to be consumed per day for the initial 7 days. This by its own may add 5 kg to your muscle bulk and can increase your athletic ability. It really is that straightforward at the beginning to gain lean muscle.

Additional ergogenic aids you could think about to gain weight and muscle are whey powder, glutamine and a multi vitamin pill. Vitamin B is terrific during this phase as it improves appetite and eases stress. As for eating – be ready to eat mountains of food. Get a large stock pot pot and boil meats such as chicken, beef or pork – cut off the fat first. Add heavy starchy veges such as potato's, sweet potato's or samoan taro. Then throw in the other vegetables like carrots, spinach, garlic etc. A big pot full of this bought to provide you with 3-4 feeds. Add to this other food like yoghurt, fruits, or snacks. There is no requirement to be too fussy and compute calories – just make your tummy plump and satiated. To gain weight and muscle you should consume more calories than your body uses, so EAT HEAPS !!!!!! The most serious fact that I cant over emphasize is that you must eat to gain more muscle. You must eat like you've never eaten before. (but not junk food like donuts and chips or candy). Try MCT and olive oils also.

As for the working out to add weight and muscle you really should concentrate on heavy weight and most exertion per session. A normal mass building workout to gain weight and muscle just about always involves compound barbell & dumbell movements such as squats, bench press, shoulder press, pull-ups (wide grip), and dips. The amount of iron used for each, the number of repetitions, and the frequency of working out, can clearly be modified so it matches your physique, present strength, and muscle conditioning objectives. Its also worthy to mention that working out too frequently is both precarious and unhelpful. Supplementary training does not imply you can add weight and muscle. Your body does not grow muscle during work outs, it actually grows stronger during the restoration time between work outs. You will gain weight and muscle during your recuperation period. As such, its very important for athletes to evade over-training, and to add in suitable recuperation periods between repetitions, sets, and workouts. You do not need to go overboard, but you need to subject your body to unusual intensity every session to gain weight and muscle. Keep your sessions below sixty minutes. Brief hard and heavy.

As you see your frame gain weight and muscle from several minimal changes to diet and training there will be a great increase in your energy and esteem, but the improvements experienced in weeks 1-3 wont be so terrific after several weeks. To continue to gain weight and muscle you should remain determined and enthusiastic. Your tiring sessions are a source of inspiration in themselves but sometimes you will not feel like working to gain weight and muscle at the fitness center. Its at these times that determination is required to gain weight and muscle – stand up, get your workout bag and get going. By the time the session has finished you will be happy you went and after the workout you will be more than happy – you will have made another move in the right direction toward success. Before long not working out will make you feel weak and unwell as your body will crave those sessions. Just remember do not over do it. Rest is also valuable for motivation as it lets you recover and unconsciously sense when you are equipped for another intense conditioning session.

For hundreds of thin people, the ambition is to gain weight and muscle, but however much they eat they stay weak. Many men are naturally skinny, that means their body burns more calories than others. The simplest means to gain weight and muscle is to consume more food than your body burns up. By providing the body with more food to gain weight and muscle, this ratio can be changed and muscle mass can be increased. Weight lifting is of great value in this context, which allows the body to take in more nutrition from the diet by improving the amount of particular hormones and increasing muscle size.

OK its really easy to gain weight and muscle so GET TO IT !!!

Archers in the Roman Army

Ancient Roman warfare was built on the back of the legion. The Roman war machine evolved around the legion like the ancient Greek’s war machine revolved around the Phalanx. Rome was built on the back of its legionnaires, they suffered some setbacks but overall the legions swept away any enemy that confronted them in the field. And though the legions formed the major part of the Roman army, the Romans also used auxiliary troops to great effect. Among these troops were the archers.

Archers were a major part of most ancient countries war machines. The Romans didn’t use them to the same extent as other ancient civilizations like Egypt they did recognise the importance of archers in the ancient battlefield and placed them with great skill alongside their legions. On Trajans column the auxiliary archers are dressed in their native clothes. Most of Rome’s archers were recruited from the middle east, a region that had perfected the use of the bow as a weapon of war. As Crassus, a Roman commander, was to find out when he led an army to defeat at the hands of Persian archers.

The conical helmets, long tunics and chain mail coats all suggest the archers came from the middle east. The Romans were experts at warfare and they turned their skills to archery to get the most power they could from the archers. They employed different types of arrowheads to perform different jobs. The well-known leaf shaped arrowhead was used to penetrate soft targets. These would be used against lightly armored troops. For heavily armored troops these arrowheads were ineffective, just bouncing off the armor.

To inflict damage on heavily armored troops the Romans would use heavier arrowheads with a tripointed end. These arrows would easily penetrate most body armour. They would also stick into shields making them heavy and difficult to maneuver. Arrows were designed to be used only once. The shaft of the arrow would bend once fired and the arrow point would be damaged once it had penetrated armor or a shield.

Roman archers usually carried about forty arrows in their quivers. As well as their normal arrows they also carried small darts. Darts were fired at approaching enemy units to break them up and force them to lose their discipline. Causing confusion and fear among the approaching enemy. The legions would then attack the enemy units with their disciplined formations. Although the legion was the mainstay of the ancient Roman army, auxillery archers played an important role in ensuring the success of the ancient Roman army.

Enhance Your Breast Size Through Massage – Revealing Ancient Breast Massage Techniques!

Breast massage had been popular for years as a natural way of breast enlargement and improving the overall appearance of the boob. The boob is composed of tissue and adipose fats. These tissues respond very well to stimulation, such as massaging, thus improving breast tone and firmness.

The massaging of the knockers has helped improve the contours of your breast by giving you a beautiful bust line as it improves it’s shape and tone and promotes healthy tissue growth on the surrounding areas of the external organ.

In Asia, beauty and massage parlors had been offering these types of massages for its aesthetic and therapeutic effects. Stimulation of the breast tissues promotes healthy lymphatic drainage. It is also useful in scar breakdown and tissue regeneration and tissue healing for those women who had undergone breast surgeries. Massage in any form helps the body in releasing toxins. Most women wear bra 12-15 hours a day, this can impede lymphatic drainage and promote clog up of toxins. The bosom, just like any other organs, can also benefit from massaging by eliminating accumulating toxins by promoting healthy lymphatic outflow, thus preventing further ailments.

Women who had been massaging their bosom on a regular basis for sometime, testify that their boobs did not only improve its appearance, but it also made them feel more good about themselves in general. Breast massages promotes relaxation of mind and body and boosts a woman’s self-confidence and pride.

Therapeutic creams and oils had been formulated to increase the effects of this type of stimulation. Many who practice this technique had used these creams and herbal serums to increase bosom fullness and beauty. These also stimulates the toning and tissue growth for an overall larger look, and improves support resulting in a ‘perkier’ knocker.

Just recently, the Thai government had supported breast massage as a means of breast enlargement and health. This is an indication that many had already proven the efficacy of this in improving the attractiveness and wellness of women.

There are a many techniques practiced in breast massage. But basically, these are the steps that you may want to follow:

1. Lubricate your breast. Apply a cream or lotion to prevent friction and increase your enjoyment and pleasure while doing the massage. Some herbal mixtures have been proven to promote skin and tissue firmness and tone thus creating a firmer and more rounded look.

2. Massage one at a time. Apply light to moderate pressure while gentle massaging your bosom in a back and forth “swishing” motion. To help bring about maximum lymphatic drainage, this technique can be done in a counterclockwise circle around the breast.

3. In order for you to notice the dramatic effects of this massage, practice this daily as a part of your routine. This can performed best after shower when your skin is moist and can be lubricated easily because of the steam. This can be done anytime of the day in the privacy of your own home. It is easy, cheap and effective plus, you don’t need to spend a lot of time doing it.

If you apply the above techniques, you should notice some incredible results in a few weeks. However, if you want and even easier and quicker technique which will get you even better results, then read on.

What is a Sinus Tract? – An Insight of the Sinus Tract

A sinus tract is an asymmetrical type of passageway that leads from within the bones to the surface of the skin. This channel is also called a fistula. It can also be said as a drainage pathway from a deep focus of acute infection through tissue and/or bone to an opening on the surface.

A contagion or a decompression of a synovial joint in rheumatoid arthritis or common fistulous rheumatism can also lead to a formation of Sinus tracts.

When a profound disease develops, the body restrains the disease, stopping it from contaminating the bloodstream. Pus develops in the area that is weak. As it continues to develop, a slender channel is formed in the weak spot. In time, the channel reaches the surface of the skin, where it bursts. When the pus burst the pressure is also relieved thus the patient feels less pain and may not have any fever Sometimes we see that an infection develops in a long bone and it worsens, over months. Ultimately the infection gets to the skin, forming a sinus.

A sinus tract is a small uncharacteristic channel in the body. A tract usually goes from the cause of infection to the skin’s surface. A sinus can be developed after an abscess is cleared (by itself or by medical treatment), then one of more of the small openings (tracts) connect the cavity to the skin surface. But in some cases some people can develop a pilonidal sinus without ever having a pilonidal abscess.

Occasionally draining cutaneous sinus tracts in the area of the face and neck may be caused by chronic dental infection. Intraoral sinus tracts owing to dental infections are quite widespread. Nasal dermoid sinus cysts are very widespread congenital midline nasofrontal masses, but on clinical inspection they are very easily misinterpreted to be sinusitis. Sinus tracts are best demonstrated on MR imaging. Small tracts, however, may be difficult to find. T1 weighted images with intravenous gadolinium may be more sensitive in finding smaller abscesses and sinus tracts.

High School Wrestling: Dominating in All Three Positions

Most wrestlers have a favorite position whether it is standing, on the bottom in the referee’s position, or on top in the referee’s position. Nonetheless, a wrestler wants to be strong in each of these positions. In fact, a wrestler wants to dominate all three of these positions. How can this be accomplished? Let’s explore.

The first thing to consider in the standing position is one’s stance. Your stance should be fairly low and wide. You want to have a stable base and yet be very mobile. You want your head up and your shoulders square. You obviously don’t want to be looking at your feet. You want your eyes centered on your opponent’s body. You want to be somewhat on the balls of your feet. You don’t want to be on your heels. You should have your hands up in front of you to guard against getting taken down. You should never be standing straight up and leaving yourself open to a takedown from your opponent. You should utilize a comfortable but effective stance. You need a stance that allows you to attack as well as defend. This is basic information.

Lee Roy Smith (brother to John and Pat and an extraordinary wrestler and coach in his own right) notes, “To successfully execute takedowns, you must control contact. Your tie ups or setups will determine whether or not you can successfully execute your takedowns. So, setups should not be overlooked. They are an integral part of gaining control and getting the takedown.”

You can control your opponent’s reaction in a variety of ways. Controlling your opponent’s response gives you an advantage. For instance, if you pull his head down you know he’s going to pull it back up; then you shoot after he reacts.

Ways to Control Contact

  • Pull – He pulls back.
  • Push – He pushes back.
  • Twist his shoulders – He twists back.
  • Pump and fake – He reacts because he thinks you are going to shoot.

Coach Tommy Pavia likes to talk about making an opponent “heavy” on one foot. By grabbing an opponent’s arm and pulling him forward, for instance, you can force your opponent to bring the leg toward you that you want to attack.

Two-time NCAA wrestling champion Cary Kolat emphasizes snapping your opponent’s head down a lot to tire his back muscles and eventually his leg muscles to wear him down. In addition, snapping your opponent’s head down takes his eyesight away and you may be able to capitalize on his reactions as he tries to come back up. Snapping the head down can break his stance and position.

There are many ties a wrestler can use to move his opponent around and set up takedowns.

Common ties include:

  • Collar and elbow tie
  • Double elbow tie
  • Underhook and overhook
  • Double bicep tie
  • Two-on-one or Russian tie

You probably know that you need to use motion and level change to execute successful takedowns. You never want to move backwards or retreat. You may get called for stalling. You want to move from side to side without crossing your feet and move forward in a stalking manner. You need to control your opponent’s movements and determine where the action goes on the mat. In addition, a good time to shoot is after you have blocked an opponent’s shot or immediately after you’ve had a takedown attempt blocked. Re-shots are very important.

Your most common takedowns are going to be doubles and singles. They are basic and they work a significant percentage of the time. You need to drill doubles and singles often. There are several ways to set these takedowns up and finish them. You need to know how to perform a high crotch, ankle pick, and other takedowns as well.

It’s important to learn to finish low and cut the corner because you won’t always be able to lift your opponent’s leg off the mat. You may capture a leg and yet be stuck down on the mat. You need to get on your toes, perhaps snake his leg, and grab the near or far ankle while cutting the corner and coming around to score. Momentarily being stopped doesn’t mean you can’t finish the shot and score. Practicing this position is very important.

You need to have at least a rudimentary knowledge of tosses and throws as well. You need to know how to execute a headlock, hip toss, and arm toss. Sometimes an opportunity for a toss or throw arises when you didn’t even have that scenario in mind.

You, of course, need to defend against takedowns as well. Sprawling is basic but absolutely essential. You need to sprawl and peel your opponent’s hands off. Your legs go back and your hips go in. You may need to crossface and whizzer as well. You execute a crossface by sprawling the legs back, reaching across your opponent’s face, grabbing the far arm, grabbing the near ankle, and circling behind. This is basic material but important to know and perfect.

Top Position

When in the top position, you want to control your opponent and prevent him from getting an escape or a reversal. In addition, you ultimately want to turn him to his back to score points and pin him.

Dan Gable (Dan Gable’s Wrestling Essentials DVD) and Art Keith (author of Successful Wrestling) both emphasize being able to flow with your opponent’s movements. Holding on to your opponent tightly is not necessarily the most appropriate way to control your opponent from the top. Art Keith likes to talk about keeping an opponent “in your lap” to maintain control of his hips. Dan Gable likes to compare flowing with your opponent to riding a bucking bronco. You need to get “in tune” with your opponent and anticipate his movements.

You do, of course, want to control some of your opponent’s movements and eventually break him down. Just as in the standing position, you want to keep your opponent off balance. You can attack both arms and legs in a number of ways to keep your opponent from bracing himself and executing moves. Make your opponent carry your weight and drive him forward trying to get as much weight forward as you can to break him down. Drive your opponent’s body (i.e. weight) forward. This is key.

Coach Gable prefers a technique he calls “jam and control.” On the whistle, you want to jam your opponent forward while making sure to keep your arms behind your opponent’s arms when performing the jamming action. Repeated hip thrusts may be needed to break your opponent’s position. Riding on your toes can give you more mobility and allow you to apply greater pressure on your opponent. You can execute a spiral ride, chop an arm, grab an ankle, or put in a cross body ride just to name a few options.

Pinning combinations include the half nelson, arm bar, double arm bar, hammerlock, cradles, leg turks, and pins from leg riding (turk, force half, guillotine).

Coach Guy Burdett related a story from his high school days concerning technique. He mentioned that a wrestler who knows more techniques than his opponents has a superior advantage and is likely to win the majority of his matches. He related a story in which he obtained a video one summer that covered the half nelson. Yes, everybody knows how to do a half nelson. It’s one of the first moves a wrestler learns. But, this video taught the young Coach Burdett how to use leverage and angles to apply the half nelson in ways he’d never used before. Evidently, his opponents had never learned about these particular half nelson techniques either because he pinned several of his opponent’s after the season started using something as fundamental as the half nelson. The lesson here is to learn the correct technique for every move and hold and to learn several ways of doing those holds and moves.

Bottom Position

When you’re down in the bottom position your opponent wants very much to break you down, turn you, and pin you. Don’t let that happen. Keep a fairly wide base with arms slightly bent. Keep your weight fairly light on your hands. Explode on the whistle and create space between you and your opponent. Drive your weight back into your opponent and fight for hand control. Hand fighting skills and hand control are essential. Keep your elbows in and make your opponent reach over or around your arms not inside. If he does grab a wrist then peel his hand off. If you get broken down to your stomach and he has a wrist, you may have to “swim” your arm out to get it free. If your opponent grabs an ankle don’t try to move forward. Put weight back on your ankle and peel his hand off. You never want to rest your head on the mat. You’ll get called for stalling. You absolutely need to get back to your base. Your base consists of four props or braces. These supports I refer to are, of course, your two arms and two legs. If you get broken down, you need to get back to your base and get your hips back under you so you have a good center of gravity.

The hip heist is a very important technique to utilize when in the bottom position. The hip heist creates a lot of space. You should practice hip heist drills every practice. The hip heist motion is, of course, commonly seen when a wrestler executes a switch from the bottom. One of my favorite moves in high school was a standing switch. I liked to hit a switch when my opponent tried to bring me back to the mat.

The most common move from the bottom is a simple stand-up. The stand-up is popular because it works. Keep your elbows in as you come up and control his hands. Hip heist while clearing his hands and you’re out of there, scoring a one point escape. The switch and sit out are important to learn as well. If you can perform a granby roll (and you should be able to), you can score points and perhaps even get a pin. But, scoring a one point escape from a stand-up is much more common and usually much safer.

You never want to end up on your back but it happens even to the best of wrestler s occasionally. For this reason, you need to learn to bridge. Effective bridging can be the difference between getting pinned and not getting pinned. Even if you don’t win the match, if you don’t get pinned you can at least save your team some points.

Remember that the bottom position is not simply a defensive position. You need to be thinking in an offensive way. There are ample opportunities for escapes and reversals from the bottom position. Even though all positions require defense at times, you should always be concentrating on being offensive and scoring even in the bottom position.

A wrestler needs to practice and drill frequently every position and several moves to become successful. Therefore, make sure you have a good knowledge base and that you know proper technique.
