The Right Bed Frame Support For Your New Mattress Set

You’ve spent weeks shopping for just the right mattress set at just the right price, and you have finally found the one that is not too firm, not too soft, but just right. That’s great news, Goldilocks! Now, it is time to shift your attention to what is under your bed and examine your bed frame.  

Often the excitement of getting a new mattress set overshadows the reality that your new mattress requires proper support. You will enjoy a longer comfort life on your new mattress if you make sure it has the right support.

 

How can you be sure that your new mattress set has the right support? 

If your bed frame is metal and it is over 10 years old, make sure there is no squeaking or rattling when you roll over on the bed. Squeaking and rattling may indicate that your bed frame has weakened over time. It is probably a good idea to replace your bed frame if this is the case. Sometimes, mattress stores will give you a free bed frame with your purchase of a mattress set. Usually, this is the cheapest, least supportive bed frame available. You’re better off asking for an upgraded deluxe model bed frame and paying for it. These last longer and are more supportive than the “free” ones most stores offer. 

 

If you have a wooden bed frame with wooden slats, make sure the slats are not bowing in the middle. Also, wooden slats are not enough for queen and king size bedding; you need at least one leg to the floor for queen size and two legs for king size. You can make a leg by having a piece of wood cut to the correct length at your local hardware store. Many companies offer metal center support slats that are far superior to wood slats. For the best possible support, choose a metal support designed for use with wood beds.

 

Following are some guidelines to follow for ensuring the proper support for your new mattress set: You need at least one rigid center support bar with one leg to the floor for queen size bedding and at least two rigid center support bars with legs to the floor for king size.   Wood center support slats should be at least 3/4 inch plywood.  If yours are not at least 3/4 inch plywood, consider a metal bed slat system like a Strong Arm, Bed Beam, or Bed Bridge support system.  Twin and full size beds do not usually require additional center supports, but with the extra heavy weight of today’s bedding, it sure wouldn’t hurt to add a center support bar. Refer to your mattress manufacturer’s warranty card for detailed information about what support is required.

Sinus Toothache and Dental Toothache – How to Tell the Difference

It is difficult to tell whether a toothache in the upper jaw comes from a sinus infection or from a dental problem.

Why?

Because many of their symptoms overlap:

  1. The roots of the upper back molars extend into the maxillary sinus cavities. This means that when the maxillary sinuses are infected, the increased pressure caused by trapped mucous, pushes down on the roots thereby displacing them slightly. This causes the upper jaw to ache, followed by a throbbing toothache. Other symptoms of maxillary sinus infection are facial tenderness and swelling in the cheek area. This particular pain is not dental related.
  2. On the other hand, if the toothache is caused by tooth decay or other dental problems, ‘referred’ pain will extend up the U shaped root cavity (called the alveolar), into the maxillary sinus. This will also cause facial tenderness and swelling in the cheek area.

It is also worth mentioning that the maxillary sinuses are the most commonly infected sinuses. This is because drainage from these cavities is not assisted by gravity.

In other words, drainage is difficult because the lowest pockets of these cavities where mucus tends to accumulate, are below nostril level during waking hours. Mucous must therefore travel upwards while the body is erect.

Since sinus infection is commonly caused by bacteria multiplying in pockets of stagnant mucous, sinusitis induced toothache is a relatively common complaint.

How to tell the difference

  • Sinus toothache usually accompanies sinus infection in the maxillary sinuses.
  • Sinus toothache occurs when pressure build-up from maxillary sinus infection presses down on the exposed roots of the upper back molars. Even experienced dentists sometime have difficulty in differentiating between sinus toothache and dental toothache.

Apart from a throbbing toothache, symptoms of sinus toothache include:

  1. Facial swelling.
  2. Swollen gums.
  3. Facial tenderness in the cheek area.
  4. Fever.
  5. Sinus headache.
  6. General feeling of malaise.
  7. Prolific nasal discharge and/or postnasal drip.

Dental Toothache:

  • Dental toothache is caused by tooth or gum disease and can be identified by the absence of sinus infection.
  • Dental toothache can affect any of your teeth, both in the upper and lower jaw. If toothache occurs in the lower set of teeth, it is almost certainly caused by one or more dental problem.
  • Dental toothache symptoms include:
    • *Facial swelling
    • *Swollen gums
    • *Facial tenderness

Can Dental Disease Cause Sinusitis?

If the rear upper molars become infected, the answer is yes. As mentioned above, the Maxillary sinuses and the mouth (oral cavity) are connected by a U shaped opening called the alveolar. This cavity is occupied by the roots of the upper back molars.

If you suffer from periodontal disease (gingivitis) or develop an abscess below the gum line, bacteria will tend to migrate up the alveolar and invade the maxillary sinuses, thereby causing sinus infection.

Phlegm, Dampness and Chinese Medicine

Internal Dampness & Phlegm

Dampness and phlegm are accumulations that occur in the body that may make us feel ‘phlegmy’ or just heavy and tired. When our diet is out of sync with our body, our mind is working overtime, or when the weather is very damp and humid, we tend to become stagnant with damp and phlegm.

Dampness is generally considered a thicker/heavier viscosity than phlegm, however may be less obvious in physical signs. Dampness is sensed in the heaviness of the body and fogginess of thinking, and can be seen in the tongue coat.

Phlegm is thinner and manifests in a runny nose or wet type of cough.

Symptoms of Dampness & Phlegm

· Foggy head

· Poor memory

· Difficulty waking up in the morning

· Low energy, especially after eating

· Loose Stool

· Poor concentration

· Leucorrhoea

· Wet-pustulent skin conditions

Signs of Dampness & Phlegm

· Swollen tongue with teeth marks

· White coating on tongue

· Runny nose, especially after greasy/dairy food

· Slippery pulse

One of the signs of dampness is a thick tongue coating and swelling of the tongue body. Sometimes the coating of the tongue is very thick and white, especially in people that consume a lot of dairy such as yoghurt and milk. These people often also scrape the coating of their tongue as it is so thick! This doesn’t treat the root of the damp problem, just removes one of the indicators.

Damp and phlegm accumulate for a few different reasons. We can initially break the causes down into 2 categories: Internal and External routes.

Internally damp/phlegm may accumulate due to:

1. Overthinking/stress leading to a deficiency of the spleen qi (digestive energy) which can’t cope with all the damp foods being ingested, thus leading to a sluggish digestion.

2. Poor diet. Too much dairy, greasy, oily, fatty, sweet, cold, raw and rich natured foods.

Externally damp/phlegm may accumulate due to:

1. Humid environment. Tropical weather. Air-conditioner blasting on you during a hot day for long periods of time.

2. The two weeks between each season change, and especially the end of summer which is considered the ‘late summer’ or ‘damp’ time of the year when we expect dampness to accumulate.

Chinese medicine is based on the 5 element theory. Fire, Earth, Metal, Water and Wood.

Each element relates to a season, organ, emotion and function etc. Dampness relates most closely to earth. The earth element relates to late summer, and the organs of the spleen and stomach.

The job of the spleen and stomach is to convert food and water to energy and the rest to waste. However, sometimes when this system is run-down and can’t convert things properly, due to a rich diet for example, there is an excess residue left over that can’t be disposed of efficiently called dampness. Chinese medicine also states that when the dampness over flows from the earth element, it is contained in the metal element; this being the lungs and large intestine. This can explain why sometimes we eat greasy fish and chips or a milk shake and get a runny nose, cough or diarrhea.

Dampness is heavy and likes to drain down and out. Sometimes it can’t do this as it gets blocked and gluggy. There are a few ways we get rid of damp. First we want to reduce the foods that are adding to the problem. Then we want to use herbs and acupuncture to either open the pores of the skin to disperse through sweat, purge through the stool or drain through urination. Then we will strengthen the digestion using a bland diet, exercise, herbs and acupuncture.

Matter and Energy

A good way to explain Chinese medicine and what we call ‘digestive fire’ is through basic physics principles.

Matter and energy. The two fundamental aspects of nature are fire and water. We can refer to these 2 elements as matter (water) and energy (fire). Everything is a form of matter and energy, matter being a more condensed form with less vibration and energy as a more dispersed and insubstantial form that has highly vibrational electrons and protons.

This said, the two are interchangeable; life and nature are always moving and changing. We are made up of matter and we are driven by passion, emotion, will and love, in this case we can say this is the ‘energy’ or fire that is life. Thus, we are made up of matter, driven by energy. But what fuels this energy? Food, air and water. So we have life, or this ‘inner fire’, and we want to add fuel or wood. What kind of wood would we add to a campfire?

What burdens the digestive fire?

When we want to make a good fire, we need good, light and dry wood; like kindling. We notice when we put green sticks on the fire it smokes and dulls the fire. Likewise, if we put a large log of wet wood on the fire, we’re likely to extinguish it totally.

The spleen and stomach like dry, light food. Thus heavy, oily, greasy, raw and dense foods are not the kind of thing to strengthen an already weak digestion. It is like throwing a big heavy wet log on a small fire. Goodbye fire!

We need to start with easily digestible grains and foods that are cooked well and not overly processed. This is our kindling.

Foods to reduce dampness & return digestive fire

Cooked whole grains: Rice, Oats, Barley, Rye, Millet, Quinoa, Pearl Barley, Buckwheat, Amaranth, Corn

Veggies: Beans (if you can tolerate from the gas), celery, pumpkin, turnip, alfalfa, leafy greens

Meat/Protein: Small amounts of well cooked (even slow cooked/stewed) are good and damp draining. Beef, Lamb, Chicken.

Spices/Herbs: Ginger is great to warm the digestive fire, especially in congee. Cardamom, cinnamon, fennel, paprika, cumin and pepper are all warming to the digestion.

Foods to avoid that increase dampness & reduce digestive fire

Basically, too much raw, cold, sweet, oily or mucous-forming foods.

Too many raw fruits, vegetable, sprouts, juices, cold food from the fridge, salad, sushi in excess.

Late night eating

Over eating

Not chewing properly

Processed foods such as pastries, pork, duck, salads, wheat grass, avocados, bananas, tofu, soy milk (soy is 50% fats and oils), eggs, chocolate, ice cream, smoothies, iced water, lassies, dairy.

A raw food or salad diet sounds great and cleansing but may not be beneficial for everyone. A person who is very hot, red faced with a strong constitution will benefit a lot, however a skinny, pale, tired person will become worse. This is all due to their condition, digestive fire, and diet.

Further improving digestion and reducing excess weight

When the digestive fire is reduced and we put in more of the wrong foods, we get a left over residue. This is what we call dampness. This dampness is energy that has become more substantial, matter. This left over matter may be deposited as fat or turn into more solid matter such as cysts.

The way to reduce this occurring is:

Reducing damp accumulating foods

Restoring digestive fire

Become active and exercise daily

Clearing your mind with meditation and relaxation breathing

Combatives Solo Training Drills

Although training with a partner is the ideal way to train Combatives, quite often we won’t have access to training partners. So rather than not train at all, we can train alone and still get a good session in.

A few pointers to keep in mind when solo training:

  • Don’t try to do too much in one session. Pick just a few techniques or drills to work on throughout the session and stick to them. If you try to cover too much you will scatter your focus and end up learning nothing. Remember that good Combatives training is about repetition. To get good you have to train a select few techniques over and over until you master them. If you try to master too many techniques at one time you will end up mastering none.
  • Train with the street in mind. This means you do not train in a sporting manner. So no shadow boxing or long endurance workouts. Everything you do must be combative, not sporting. Warm up first, then practice your drills and techniques in short bursts. A real street fight is an explosive burst of energy that doesn’t last very long. There are no rounds. Only periods of intense combat lasting only several seconds. Your training must reflect that. So basically, go like fk for no more than ten seconds then stop and repeat.
  • Add emotional content to your training. Whatever you do, you must back it up with the correct mindset. If you hit the bag, do so with full intent and aggression. Really imagine that you are in a situation and you have to put this guy down. Anything less will not do. You are practicing accessing state as much as the physical techniques. Hit the switch, go like fuck and then knock the switch off again, making sure to check state every time. Training in this way, you are making sure the techniques will come out under pressure when you need them. This is the only way to train.
  • Resist the temptation to do long sessions. Long training sessions are for endurance athletes and sport fighters. You will benefit most from shorter sessions of about fifteen to twenty minutes, but train at full intensity during that time. If you feel one session isn’t enough, train twice a day.

1. FENCE AND STRIKE DRILL

What’s good about this drill is that you don’t need any equipment and it can be done anywhere.

Start from a square on stance, then move into a fence position with your arms out front as if controlling your space, then from there throw a pre-emptive strike.

Repeat a number of times.

To make the drill more useful, bring your imagination into play. Pretend there is someone in front of you, giving you grief. Control your space as they try to enter it and then, when you think the moment is right, strike with full intent and see yourself knocking the guy out. Remember, emotional content is what makes these techniques stick.

2. FENCE, STRIKE, BLAST AND FINISH

As above, only after you strike pre-emptively you continue to blast your opponent with multiple strikes, moving forward as you do so (forward drive) before finally finishing your opponent off with knees and elbows or some other technique of your choice.

3. IMAGINARY BRAWL DRILL

For this drill you are going to be playing out a whole attack scenario from start to finish. Think of a scenario first. You could be walking to your car in a dimly lit car park after a particularly tiring day at work or you could be standing outside the chippy on after having had a few drinks with friends. Whatever. Your imagination is the limit here.

Once you have a scenario in mind, really put yourself into it, mentally and emotionally. Begin to act it out the way a real actor would.

Let’s take the car park example. You are walking to your car when you spot two dodgy looking guys loitering near your car. Your spidey sense starts to tingle and you can feel the adrenaline begin to bubble up inside you. Something isn’t right (really feel this!). As you continue to walk to your car, one of the guys (dressed in jeans, black jacket and baseball cap) asks you for a light. You tell him you don’t have one. No sooner have you answered him when the other guy (wearing track suit bottoms and a dark coloured hoodie) suddenly rushes towards you, drawing his fist back in preparation to hit you. The fight is on.

That’s the set up. What way this scenario goes is up to you. The important thing is that you mimic every move as it happens. If you strike one of the guys, then do so for real and really feel the impact. If you get hit or grabbed, react to that for real.

Fall to the floor and grapple. Enact the whole fight. Then when it’s over, walk away.

Done right, with your imagination in full swing, this can end up feeling like a real fight. It’s almost like visualisation practice but you are physically acting out each movement instead of just picturing it in your head.

Try to be alone when doing this drill. If anyone sees you, they will think you’ve lost your mind as you throw yourself around and fight imaginary attackers!

The Weissenborn Guitar Build – Part Four – The Plans

Before I had even begun to build my first Weissenborn guitar I was assailed by many doubts such as” Am I going to screw this up?” or suppose I get this wrong? and similar kinds of horrible thoughts! I would actually lie awake at nights thinking about it, half scared, half excited, about doing this for the first time.

However, I came to the conclusion rapidly that it was only wood, only cost money and if I did screw up, well, I could always buy some more and start again! I realised that I had to curb my impatience and start to be a little more thorough in my approach to this project.

I had scoured the net looking for all kinds of information regarding the building of a Weissenborn and realised that there was very little to find. There were no books on how to do it, and I could only find one set of plans available from a company in America. It seemed to me that it must be the best kept secret on the Planet.

There were a few hardy individuals that had bitten the bullet and had built a Weissenborn but it seemed that mostly it was the secretive domain of Luthiers, the gods of all gods! All of this intrigued me more and more and gradually I built up an arsenal of facts and fiction about the construction of these here Weissenborn guitars They were definitely popular and there was no doubts about that. The likes of Ben Harper, Jeff Lang and Johnny Depp had seen to that, for certain. When I finally came across a plan of a Weissenborn I was amazed at what little detail that there actually was on the plan itself! I had expected there to be all kinds of tips and hints and secret little tricks the help the unwary innocent ( me) to find his way through the maze.

It seemed to me that the thing to do was to buy a conventional guitar building book and take some ( if not most!) of the techniques and use them to build my guitar. In fact, that is really what I did in the end, more or less. As I gathered together more info and ordered the timber from my pal Kim Hancock, a luthier of note from Tamborine Mountain in Queensland, I made a definite promise to myself that I would, if this project was successful I would not only write a book about the building of a Weissenborn but would also draw a plan for my very own guitar before I started!

This is also exactly what I did. I had seen Jeff Lang’s beautiful Weissenborn style guitar made for him by South Australian luthier, David Churchill and had seen how deep the body and neck were. I wanted one something like that! I realised the beautiful ringing overtones and sweet sounds came from a combination of the workmanship, the timber and certainly the depth of this great slide guitar

I went off to the local print and copy shop and bought about two metres of virginal white paper, the sort of stuff architects draw houses on. I burned midnight oil drawing, re-drawing, cursing, muttering and checking dimensions from books, drawings and photos. I’d had the good fortune to get an old plan of a Weissenborn style one from a friend and checked it out against the dimensions of my own. So far, so good!

Soon the day came around. The plans was born. I was really glad that the Weissenborn style was the one I had chosen for my first build and I was secretly pleased that I had no tricky truss rods to deal with and the great fact I had realised about halfway through the design was that because the strings are never pressed down onto the frets it wouldn’t matter if they were slightly inaccurate. A conventional guitar would be ruined if you got that wrong!

I was really pleased with the plan as I studied it. There was heaps of information on there, I’d seen to that. Type of wood, exact thickness in millimetres and inches, no horrible decimals of inches, what are they? Yuk! Little warning notes about things that had nearly caught me with my trousers down. What kind of glue to use and loads of stuff like that. It was looking good. I also decided that I would get it turned into PDF files and TIFF files eventually for putting onto CD-Rom when the time came to put them up on my site. Now all I had to do was build my guitar!

I actually live on a forty foot yacht so the challenge of building this guitar was more than a little interesting, to say the least. It required careful planning and a little forethought. I had thought the whole project through and because I didn’t have a workshop as such I would improvise a little. The engine block housing would be my workplace, four feet by two foot six inches, plenty! I had a piece of solid three quarter inch piece of MDF board to work on and I had decided to use the ‘mould ‘method of building the guitar.

The deck outside would be used for sawing, cutting and all the messy stuff and I had an ample sheet of ply to protect that. With a little trepidation I began. I soon realised things were going well and really got into the swing of things. Well, folks, the rest is history! I actually made me a Mississipi Delta mud slidin’whiny,shiny weissinbyorn folks and it sure do sound purty! Even I ah do say so myself!

It has turned out better than I could have ever dreamed and I play it every damn day! The good thing is too that it’s getting sweeter as time goes by and I don’t even play it the wrong way up no more! I sit it on my lap now! Depletion of Forest Resources

INTRODUCTION

Echo systems around the world help sustain life for millions of species. Echo systems that are mainly forests provide a home for a large majority of the species alive. Therefore the trees in these forests are considered to be the most important species. Although it is true, that most species are not able to sustain without each other.

There are many benefits that we get from our forests. Some of these include cleaner drinking water, a home for plants and animals, economic growth, clean air, recreational opportunities, reassuring future. Another benefit we get from trees is called oxygen. If there were no trees to give us oxygen to breath, we would not be able to live. So if you need one good reason why a forest should exist, staying alive is a pretty good reason.

CAUSES OF THE PROBLEM

Forests have many resources that people can use to raise their living standards. One example is the wood for building houses. Certain wood materials last a long time, they keep the house warm and make it easy to manufacture homes. Unfortunately the world is overpopulating and the demand for a higher standard of living is constantly on the rise. Therefore the demand for more resources is growing to levels that cannot be sustained. Since forests provide a large portion of the world’s resources, many forests are cut down or burned.

The cause for cutting down forests is directly associated with the high demand for wood to manufacture paper products and lumber for other manufacturing. We practically use wood for everything. It is used in home building, marine products, furniture and the list seems like it’s endless. Just look around yourself right now and chances are you will find a product within your reach that is made of wood. Not only is wood a good building material, but it also has great aesthetic qualities. Most people appreciate a nice wooden dining table set or classic wooden rails on a staircase. Unfortunately we don’t always take in to account how many trees need to be cut down so we can have these luxuries in our lives.

Another major direct cause for forest depletion is simply burning forests for farmland. This is more common with countries that are undeveloped and have tropical rainforests. Many poor farmers in these countries burn or cut small portions of tropical forests so they can have room for farming and cattle. But the big scale problem is created when huge corporate farms burn thousands of square acres a year. They need this much room so they can provide farming on a much larger scale to compete in the world market for food. The reason forests are burned for the farmland is due to the rich minerals fertility of the soil.

Unfortunately even the large scale farmers in undeveloped countries are not educated on how they can maximize their results when reusing the soil. Therefore the soil is used up and left as a desert while the farmers burn more forest to make another farm. The Amazon rainforest which is the largest in the world has fallen victim to such deforestations. This forest is located in South America where countries are having tough financial times. Brazil’s market is a third of all the Latin countries included. Yet “Brazil’s foreign debt, except in the most implausible of positive economic circumstances, is simply unsustainable in the years ahead” (CRF.org 2002). Economical pressure on a country is another big cause that will force a country to deforestation such as the case in Brazil. Basic Science and Remote Sensing Initiative (BSRSI) show data that between 1978 to 1988 230,000 square miles, nearly the size of Texas was affected by deforestation (bsrsi.msu.edu). That is 16.5% of the whole rainforest in the Amazon.

The next example shows the cause of deforestation for farming. According to The Center for International Forestry Research (CIFOR), “Between 1990 and 2001 the percentage of Europe’s processed meat imports that came from Brazil rose from 40 to 74 percent” and by 2003 “For the first time ever, the growth in Brazilian cattle production-80 percent of which was in the Amazon-was largely export driven.” As more roads are built to provide access to forests in undeveloped countries more deforestation is evident.

EXTENT OF THE PROBLEM

As mentioned earlier, we get a large portion of our oxygen from vegetation such as trees. Since most trees live in forests it is important to realize the negative impact deforestation may have on our air quality. Carbon dioxide (CO2) is a gas that has an impact on the greenhouse effect. There is a cycle between CO2 producers such as cars and CO2 consumers such as plants. Together they create the “Global Carbon Cycle”. The plants and soil of tropical forests hold 460-575 billion metric tons of carbon worldwide (McKane et al. 1995). From 1850 to 1990, deforestation worldwide released 122 billion metric tons of carbon into the atmosphere, with the current rate being between 1.6 billion metric tons per year (Skole et al. 1998). In comparison, all of the fossil fuels (coal, oil, and gas) burned during a year release about 6 billion tons per year. Therefore deforestation even when compared to all the other pollution plays a significant role in Global Warming and clean air.

Another extent of the problem with deforestation is a decrease in biodiversity. Biodiversity is important for Ecosystem sustainability, agriculture, medicine, recreation, aesthetic and commercial value. There are about 5 to 80 million species that live on this earth (Lawton and May 1995). Tropical rainforests cover about 7% of the world, but are home to more than half of the species living in the world. After a forest is cut down, many species cannot live without it and possibly go extinct. Since we depend on these species for many resources, their extension will rob us of their benefits. Perhaps we might destroy the next cure for AIDS by deforestation and not know it.

FUTURE

The negative impacts of deforestation are getting noticed internationally. Many countries are taking steps to reduce the problem for a more sustainable earth. Unfortunately financial gain and high competition still exists with deforestation, and for some it’s the only way of survival. Many people are not educated about the long term results their actions may cause. Because of these reasons deforestation is still a reality around the world in many countries.

With more international involvement, countries will take effective steps to bring deforestation to sustainable levels. But there is still a great deal of work to be done. For some forests it is still not too late to bring them back quicker. Other forests that have been clear-cut might take centuries to grow to the original state. Areas where pesticides were used it is possible that the echo system was damaged and may take a long time to grow again. Many forests were replaced by large banana plantations. These plantations use pesticides that kill many species that are vital for an echo system to sustain. Erosion caused by deforestation may bring more water pollution in the future and may affect agriculture in the area. Other reasons for deforestation are simply to provide room for paved roads, residential and commercial development that are caused by urban sprawl. These types of developments permanently destroy forests. Deforestation is a serious threat to life’s future on our planet. It has major effects on our global climate. It leads to the loss of millions of species that are important in sustaining a living earth.

SOLUTIONS

As we discussed the causes for deforestation, we realize how these causes are very different. Because the causes are often controlled by a countries economy, overpopulation and many other social reasons, it is impossible to find one solution to deforestation. Although there are many solutions, it will take time and cooperation of many different groups of people and organizations to make the solutions work.

One popular solution that has been in effect for a few decades is forest conservation. We can work internationally, regionally, and locally with organizations to develop policy and influence industries to help ensure a sustainable future for forests. Conservation helps protect, manage, and restore the world’s most important forests by identifying threats and developing solutions to them.

The solution that I believe will be very effective is the second one. As far as cutting down trees, this is a very workable solution. We have too many products that are made of wood today. As economies grow around the world, the middle class will also grow. This middle class will demand more and more products that are made of wood. The American middle class is obsessed with wood products and we don’t even realize it. A large portion of our homes are built from wood, and so is our furniture. Most cabinets alone require so much wood. If we like wood products so will the rest of the world.
