Spike – The Man's Channel on Satellite TV

Spike, formerly Spike TV, is the channel for testosterone fuelled NFL loving, beer guzzling, manly men. It's a premier destination for guys who like to eat cold pizza and enjoy reruns of Baywatch. You know who you are. Over 96 million viewers have access to Spike. If you're not among those, call your satellite TV company and get a subscription. Here are some of highlights you're missing out on.

Reruns of the A-team: Yes, indeed, you can catch this classic American adventure series on Spike. Follow the action packed adventures of Col. Smith, Lt. Peck, Capt. Murdock and Sgt. Baracus as they chase villains and topple bad guys. The over the top cartoon violence of this show, coupled with Mr. T's chain loving Baracus have made this show a cult hit. Great entertainment when you're not watching the latest NHL Sunday Ticket or Baywatch.

1000 Ways to Die: This show looks at the 'science of living and the randomness of death'. It explores what actually happens to your body when you smoke cigarettes, when a rattlesnake's venom poisons your blood, when you are buried alive. The show combines CGI effects to answer these questions. Experts in toxicology, pathology and herpetology explain how we die in these absurd and not so absurd ways to die.

Afro-Samurai Resurrection: This amusingly titled show is actually a rather hip Western anime featuring the one and only Samuel L. Jackson as the Afro Samurai. Lucy Liu plays the beautiful seductress Sio who steals the body of Afro's father for her own nefarious deeds. You can watch Afro in HD.

Cock + Load: Here's another animated series, which takes a satirical look at religion, with Battle Pope, a pope with a mission. He beds damsels he meets in bars and fights demons. This pope knows how to fight. The other series in Cock + Load is called Red Lotus; in this animated show, Red Lotus has to fight off ninjas and other despicable agents.

I Bet You Will: This show is styled after the sophomoric antics of the JackAss crew. Everyday dudes are challenged to do somewhat precarious and silly stunts such as drinking milk through your nose, or chugging fishbowl water with a live fish in it. If the contestants are up to the challenge, they win money.

Murder: Murder is about murder. It's about real crimes and real people trying to solve them. A team of contestants steps into the shoes of homicide detectives to see if they can solve these real life crimes. It's pretty electrifying stuff.

The Ultimate Fighter: This show pits two fighters against each other in an all out battle for domination. This is not just any sports show. Ultimate fighting is rough and tough. Watch as the pros battle it out.

Playbook: Playbook is show that tells you how to do things. It gives you advice on how to set up a surround system and build a basement bar. The show's premise is that being a guy is not easy, so it acts as a guide for everything a guy could want to know.
