The Geotrax Train Set Encourages Creative Play

Children love to play with toy trains and for those between the ages of two and seven, a Geotrax Train set by Fisher-Price is the ideal toy to stretch the imagination. The Remote Control Timbertown Railway has everything your little conductor needs to become a lumber tycoon.

Steamer is a three car train and comes with its own conductor with arms and legs that move. The bright red caboose and log hauler are attached to the back of the steam engine. The smokestack travels up and down as the engine moves along the track.

Start the Timbertown adventure with all aboard from Easy Rail Station. The wheels will automatically click into place on the piece of track to hold Steamer firmly upright. The engine starts its journey with a climb up Elevation Mountain. The working crane is waiting at the summit to drop its load of lumber onto the log carrier. The trip continues down the mountain side and doubles back through a tunnel before returning to the depot.

The set contains fifteen pieces of track made out of durable plastic. They snap easily and firmly into place to construct this interactive mountain railway. It is compatible with other GeoTrax sets and can be incorporated into an entire railroad network. Sets sold separately include an airport, a zoo, a ranch and more.

This train may be guided by remote control or just by pushing the engine along the track. The remote can be easily operated by young children and the big buttons were created specifically for small hands. The controller and engine require three size AAA batteries each for operation.

Children who belong to the recommended age group will love watching the feature DVD that comes with this set. Steamer and Samuel star in the story that delivers a message and encourages more interactive play. Any child will love to receive the Geotrax Train set as a gift for the holidays.
