1. Frankenstein by Mary Shelley

In Frankenstein, a young man named Victor Frankenstein lost his mother weeks before his departure for University of Ingolstadt. To overcome his depression, he immerses himself in his experiments. While at the university, he discovers a technology that can give life to dead matter. After this, he creates a creature model that is huge with yellow eyes and its skin is barely hiding the muscle tissue.

Later, Victor return to his home and learn about the death of his brother, William. When he return to Geneva, he saw the creature he created climbing a mountain. The creature demands Victor to create a female companion or he will kill him. Victor begins creating the female companion afterwards but he tears it apart when he fears that they would breed into an evil human race.

2. Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr. Hyde by Robert Louis Stevenson

Dr. Henry Jekyll is a scientist who has an ambition to create a breakthrough in human so that their soul will be good and never go to hell. At last, he creates a potion and test it himself by drinking it. After drinking the potion, the devil takes form in him and he becomes Edward Hyde. It is an agreement that he makes with the devil that they will take turn.

The devil is to drink the potion again so that he could turn back into the original person, Dr. Henry Jekyll. Edward Hyde, being a devil himself is an evil man and he commits a lots of crimes while taking form in Dr. Henry Jekyll’s body. One day, the chemicals that he produces no longer work due to the impurity of the ingredients. Jekyll knows that he would become Hyde forever and decides to commit suicide.

3. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT) by Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird

Four small turtles who live in the sewer of New York City transform into a humanoid turtles when they are crawling around some ooze. The four turtles are Leonardo who wears the blue mask and carries 2 katana; Michelangelo who wears the orange mask and his hobby is eating pizza; Donatello who wears purple mask and carries the bo staff; and Raphael who wears the red mask and is armed with a sai.

Their master is the rat sensei teaches them the ninja skills. The four turtles go around New York City saving innocent people who are being harmed by criminals. The criminals often have to do with Shredder, the master of the evil ninjutsu clan called Foot clan. They work along with April O’ Neil, the TV broadcaster who help them in tracking down the criminals.
