Lap joinery: Lap joint is a different type of joinery commonly used in the creation of cabinet frames. There are still more types of lap joinery such as: dovetail lap, cross lap, half lap, end lap and mitred lap. Among them, the half lap is largely used in the construction work. In this type of joinery, the material is removed from every piece in order to give a similar thickness of the thickest piece at the end of the joint obtained.
