The NuWave Oven Pro incorporates Triple Combo Cooking (TCC). TCC combines three different cooking methods:

Conduction, which is the heat that is applied directly to the food.

Convection is the circulated hot air that is produced by the quiet motor and a specially designed fan. This allows the heat to distribute evenly for faster cooking and even browning.

Infrared which is simply a form of gentle, invisible radiant heat that penetrates the inside of food while also cooking from the outside, leaving foods moist and flavorful yet browned to perfection. Hearthware’s specially patented coating over the custom made heating rod enhances the NuWave Ovens unique infrared capabilities. The concept is similar to the warmth of the sun’s rays that you feel on your skin. About 80% of the sun’s rays are infrared rays, the same principle as the NuWave Oven, just on a smaller scale. Restaurants have been using infrared ovens for years to keep their food warm.

Because of this three way cooking technology, the NuWave Oven Pro will cook up to fifty percent faster than cooking in a conventional oven. One of the reasons it cooks faster is because it does not require preheating. This saves both time and energy consumption.
